The Olympic Hotel in Erewash

Visiting the area we drove around looking for a pub that would be showing "live sport". The sign outside said "live sport" but when I walked in two guys were sat on bar stools with feet on the bar. The TV was off. I asked if they'd be playing the playoff final and they abruptly said "no" whilst rolling their eyes at me. Rude, obnoxious and false advertising. Avoid!

Ian and nicky are fantastic, pub has a great atmosphere.

We love Ian and Nikki! There's always a lovely atmosphere in The Olympic since they've taken over! Kareoke's are so fun, Sunday lunches are great, and it's always nice to put some songs on the jukebox! We also love that the pub is dog friendly and has a lovely big garden/seating area outside.

No real ales ready on tap so I was little disappointed. Very willing to participate with local scarecrow event.

We host a Disco / Karaoke there every Friday from 7.30pm - 11.00pm, great atmosphere and custom. Staff are great and Reece who runs it can’t do enough for everyone. Pop in and enjoy some great evening entertainment.

Food is fantastic fresh and hot lovely atmosphere love going to this pub since it's been took over by new management can recommend

Says a lot when you have to have a whiskey because there's no decent cider. Not a great place

Gary runs a good show. We like the beer garden and the Amstel. Also it's great for sport.

Relaxing indoor and outdoor areas. Lovely food served by friendly staff

Absutely stunning transformation and welcoming atmosphere,we turned up before food was due to begin but as the chef was on site he was more than happy to meet our demands. The food was very reasonably priced we both enjoyed the choice we made. We will definately be visiting The Olympic in the future.

Ate there last Wednesday and the food was amazing and great value! I recommend the steak and ale pie! Kids had pizza and chips and ate it all- no fuss. Good sized portions as well

Lovely clean pub. Newly refurbished. Good choice of beers including two real ales, plus bottled Blue Monkey. Great staff.

Stopped for Sunday Lunch with some friends after a walk at Elvaston Castle. All the staff were really friendly and accommodating for the 10 of us, including 6 kids. Highlight for the kids was the fantastic play area. Our highlight was the delicious sunday roast and reasonable prices. Will be returning. Thank you again.

Food arrved meat was cold. On roast also the plates need down sizing due to size of plate made contents of plates small when really was large will try again in future to see if inproves

Very nice welcoming place. Fully refurbished, polite staff, spotlessly clean and enjoyable drinks/food. To be recommended on to all.

Been going into the Olympic for over 20 years ...this is the best it's ever looked ..good luck to the future, and I'll be seeing this place more often 👍

House hunting in Draycott / Breaston, went into The Olympic and met with a warm welcome by Justine, very friendly, gave us water and treats for the dogs. Went back later and had a nice meal at a reasonable price. Good luck with your project guys, with what you have accomplished in two weeks I'm sure you'll be a success

Nice little boozer.. was greeted by the landlord on entrance seemed very friendly, lookded very clean and tidy and could tell the place gets looked after..proper local pub got chatting to a couple of the locals aswell..only stayed for one drink as was drivin.. will definitely be back

Chris and his partner have put a lot of effort into Halloween, selection of real ales at a good price, Sky sports and dog friendly, pub could do with a refit but it's a friendly pub

The first time I have ever been in to the Olympic pub today. Utterly shocked, I asked the lady behind the bar (I believe her to be the pub owner), I asked a simple question about the free drinks vouchers, and I was met with the most disgusting reply from her, I have never been spoken to by any member of staff in any establishment like I have been today in my life DO NOT GO HERE!

Excellent pub, good atmosphere and very friendly. A great food menu with plenty of choice, really good value for money. There is also a children's play area for the kids and a beer garden to the rear and decking to the side with a seating area. Definitely recommend it.
