Royal Spice in Erewash

Ordered for the first and last time. No flavour. We definitely not recommend. Don’t waste your money. Worst Indian I have ever tasted.

Takeaway home delivery. Food quality, across the menu is first rate. In our opinion best in the area.

We just had our 8th order from Royal Spice and it was delicious, as always. The Chicken tikka masala was richly flavoured and sweet with coconut, the Chana Puri (chick pea starter served on flatbread) was perfectly seasoned and flavoured, and the lamb shashlik was even better. On previous occasions we've ordered the lamb balti and that was beautifully spiced. In my opinion, this is the best Indian takeaway in the area. Oh, and the chap who runs it is a lovely fella.

Ordered takeout to try somewhere new. Everything was edible, but nothing was exceptional. Most of it was really red and it looked like the naan had been blasted with wotsit crumbs. Probably would try elsewhere before ordering here as while inoffensive there's for sure better of this food locally

1st time order, recommended by a friend quick and lovely service the Zalzala main was best main I've had.

Ordered food, got told it would take up to an hour, took 1hr20... that's fine as long as the food is good but unfortunately the food was very bland, the curry felt watered down, no spice or taste to it really. Rice was ok tasting but cold. Naan bread was supposed to be garlic but was also very plain. Edible but wouldn't be ordering again.

We had 3 different Currys ,all were same red sauce,and far to much salt in ,not enjoyable,will not be ordering from here again,

Well after having the year I’ve had being let down on new year’s eve don’t surprise me I ordered my food at 5.30 pm and was told they where busy so will take 2 hours so I called them back 2 hours later when nothing arrived then they told me 20 minutes 30 minutes later they told me 20 minutes again 30 minutes later they told me 30 minutes this time then at 9.30pm still nothing my friends ordered some food at 7.30 pm and had it delivered and they had eaten it before 9.30 pm ??I cancelled my order totally ruined New Year’s Eve thanks for that NO STARS

Ordered a takeaway today. The food was cold tasteless with hardly any spices. And both dishes had the same red sauce despite being chefs specials. Not up to the usual standard and for £27 not worth it. The onion baji was dry.

Best Indian takeaway in the East Midlands by far. Really tasty food, large portions and very friendly staff. Order on their website or using IOS/Android app for best prices. Good vegetarian options too.

Having lived in Sawley for years, we have tried many curry houses from Donington, Shardlow, Borrowash and Long Eaton. We found and tried this place last night. What a find, very reasonably priced and lovely flavoursome food! Will definitely be using this place from now on! Just cant believe we didn't know about it before!
