The best restaurants in East Northamptonshire East Midlands

Visited here on a night in Thrapston. First class in customer service and food. Never had a better meal. We were welcomed and it was packed, no wonder, glad we booked. There were a few waiting on tables and they were efficient and entertaining.

Ordered tonight for a birthday tea for half 7 delivery, said delivery was about 20 to 8 ,rang at quarter past 8 to be told another 10 minutes waiting for a driver ,got to 10 to 9 ,rang again to be told they had no driver it wouldn't be coming no contact to tell us this ,no updates through just eat or restaurant, absolutely disgusting service ,won't be using them again .

Arrived at the establishment sat at a table which was filled with previous customers dirty plates and cups which I moved to side of table , then sat for 5 mins only to realise that it wasn't table service 😳 😀 then proceeded to counter to order 2 breakfasts to be perfectly honest was,nt great .. when the table was cleared the table wasn't sanitized or even cleaned !! The drinks were OK the food medioca , as we had breakfasts the beans were luke warm the toast had hardly any butter on it , probably could only say the the hash browns were pribs best part of it the eggs were snotty covered in burnt oil which left an after taste so not happy I would not eat there again ...

This has been a popular pub in higham ferrers for as long as I can remember. Good mix of space with a pool table upstairs, darts, plenty of TV screens for football. Often busy, pretty good parking. Great big garden which is great in the summer. Regular events in which is nice. Beer selection is a bit lousy with mostly lager and cider. Not great for proper beers but still worth a visit.

Just recently stayed here for a weekend and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. Danielle and Libby made us feel very welcome and we will definitely stay here again. The room was all you needed it to be, clean tidy and some nice little treats on the tea tray. Thank you :)

The food was delicious, much better and cheaper than nandos. The staff were so helpful and friendly we felt so welcome. I had the veggie wrap with piri fries and colslaw, my partner had half chicken with fries and salad. And also had garlic bread with cheese and onion it was so delicious.

Best Indian takeaway around lovely thick sauce to curries me and my wife have had, recommend this place to anyone banging curries and at a decent price

Although the service in the cafe was slow and the staff forgot to bring me my order, the food was actually very tasty. However, the visit to the toilet was horrendous - the toilet seat in the unisex, accessible toilet had been left up to, to expose the most disgusting orange/brown urine staining (see photo's). I reported this to the store manager, who couldn't have been less interested - despite me showing her the toilet seat, she offered no apology, smiled and stated that it had already been reported and she was already aware of it. I believe she said that it was being addressed next week, so if anyone needs the toilet, you may be better to cross your legs until you can find somewhere more sanitary to use! Very annoyingly, the manager saw fit to speak to somebody on her headset whilst I was talking to her - really disrespectful and patronising. Really not the standard that I expected from Waitrose!

This is the most inefficient coffee shop I have ever been in . Take your order give you your coffee then stand in line whilst they take other orders on one till . Honestly learn some customer service and do not be complacent just because its a busy day. It amazes me people except this sub standard service.

My friend and l went for lunch, they have a great choice of hot food from soup, pasties, jacket potatoes etc. Lovely selection of cakes, offering gluten free and vegan. Wonderful coffee and a large selections of tea. You can sit inside on comfy sofas or outside on the decking which overlooks a lake and watch the kingfisher. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and know many customers by first name, nice atmosphere you can bring your dog inside.

I’ve been going to frankies for years and it’s never failed to disappoint me! I’ve been going there since it was the wimpy and continued going because it’s just great! The owners are lovely and the food is always fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is also lovely. Highly recommend, best place to eat and my favourite place to eat

The best breakfast I have had in my life and the taste and workers are amazing the owner is so friendly as well , thank u so much everybody

Ordered a takeaway from here it's the worst meal I have ever had just tasted of old grease & ill all night so stay well clear of this place people
