We ordered from the Blue Sky earlier this week and were once upon a time regular visitors to this once excellent takeaway. On our return everything about the 2 meals and sides was really bad. My chicken curry was really poor after being so consistently good for many many years. The chicken was actually chewy and the chips were terrible, they use to be roast potato like but more frozen like and limb. My wife's meal was equally poor and so much so that she gave it to our 2 dogs. In this day and age with portions getting smaller, food getting worse and yes more expensive, these takeaways cannot continue to pull the wool over hard working members of the public.... This was £25 down the drain and we won't be going back. Poor stuff. Visited 3rd February 2025.

It used to be a nice little place with nice food. The milkshakes were some of the best that I've ever had. The food was alright it depended on what you had. If you are looking for a similar kind of restaurant nowadays, try Amigo's near Stony Stratford.

I'm not complaining about the food nor the service but I cannot agree with £9 for chips and curry sauce! Come on, people will stop using these takeaways if this continues...... I know prices are rising and things are hard but I went to a Rushden fish and chip shop earlier in the week and got cod and chips and mushy peas for £10.....a whole meal..... I rarely knock prices but this was a shocker. Will no longer use.

Awful place. The service is atrocious and slow and the staff extremely rude. The person that served me (tall large guy) did not listen to me at all, tried to tell me that I ordered an item that isn't even on the menu. He overcharged us and argued and ignored me when I tried to explain what happened. Only later when he realised he must be wrong because what he claimed I ordered was not on the menu did he scurry over and try to offer a refund for overcharging and free drinks, but by then it was too late because the experience was completely spoiled. In addition the food and drinks are not served at the same time and the coffee was not hot and the cake was stale. Do not go here if you want good service and a pleasant experience.

We were staying down the road at the Queens head, walked down the village and popped in here for a drink, what a great friendly little pub, Brian the landlord and his mum Linda, made us very welcome, we felt like part of the local community, we enjoyed so much we went back several times during our 2 night stay, and much preferred it to the Queens head. Thank you Brian and Linda for you hospitality. Julie G Shepperton.
