Just opposite the cathedral with a tiny table for 4 in the window.Some Thai classics and daily specials.Rice/Noodle boxes,wraps and bao buns.Soft drinks and something sweet for after.Friendly staff.Lovely for a quick work day lunch😃

Thought we'll make a change and go for a curry instead. of a Christmas dinner with some of the ladies from work, so we decided to go to the Pear Tree Tavern. We all had starters and main meals, which we all thoroughly enjoyed.Some of the ladies has never been to the Pear Tree Tavern, but by the end of the evening, they all said they would return and also tell all their friends about how good the food was,also the service was excellent,they could not do enough for us very polite and very helpful.The meals came out very quick. We'll definitely return in the New Year.

Myself and other colleagues went along to the Oast house for our Christmas get together this year and as usual the staff were lovely! They are always helpful, friendly and go above and beyond to make sure your experience is a good one. Super thankful for them all Especially Linzi, Tasha, Stan and Reece. Thank you and we will see you soon i'm sure.

Just had a quick stop in this city and was craving for a dessert and end up coming to this place and trust me it was amazing I ordered their sundae and it was good and delicious 👍

This place has been shown closed on just eat but it's still open spoke to owner they changed some details that's y old system showing as closed but you can still find out on just eat go to icon indian type masala hut it will come up or download there app easy to place order

It's a Premier Inn, so the design is pretty standardised. I don't mind a Premier Inn honestly. But this one... what's going on with the toilet?! I'm a stocky 6ft man and the damn toilet roll holder is so close to the toilet that it's practically over the top of it!!!! It's difficult to take a dump at an angle Premier Inn!!! Very difficult! I don't know what kind of tiny people are sleeping here but I doubt somebody that's half my size was be able to have a comfortable poo here. The toilet is also practically inches from the wall. It's such a stupid design flaw. Come on Premier Inn. How about using a little brain power? Otherwise decent enough, comfortable bed, clean room, free parking, blah blah blah.

I reviewed this place back in November 2020 as the food back then truly was amazing. It just goes to show how things can change. Maybe there is a different chef these days or the business has changed hands. Our latest curry takeaways were watery and over-salted. The rice and naan were ok. The best bit was the free piece of wire I got in my curry. Looks like it came off a metal scourer. At least they've been scrubbing their saucepans I suppose. As my junior school teacher used to write in my school report........"has lots of potential but must try harder."
