a great little find, a non pretentious bar and grill, not trying to be above it's station. good selection of beers and spirits to choose from. typical selection of desi grill menu items, all cooked fresh, and brought out sizzling

Really nice food 😋very reasonable priced! Very clean with friendly staff! I'd go again but we ended getting a penalty charge notice for £70 for parking, in their own attached FREE car park, when we ate there in February. I don't know why, as we saw no signs in the car park but it was a dark Feb evening 😕

I don’t leave reviews at all, just felt like this place deserved it. Food was banging, Lange mixed grill I highly recommend. I’m from Bradford and it’s hard to find Asian cuisines that stand up but I wholeheartedly can say this place does. Wow, thank you. Staff were amazing, food was incredible and the vibe was a perfect mix of your local pub with exquisite cuisine. Will deffo be back!

The food here is the best I have experienced. Indian mixed grill served on a hot Skillet is amazing and accompanied with masala chips and a salad. 8 of us had 3 grills as a shared starter. We then ordered a variety of currys and naan breads for our mains. Totally delicious. The bar service was excellent and the owners were inviting and friendly. This IS on my return list for sure! Do not be discouraged by looking at the building as the package within discounts this and is well worth a visit.. My score is based on my experience and I do use the full scale. This is worthy of my 5's. 😊

Absolutely delicious food at a very reasonable price. Better than some of the more established restaurants in my opinion. You have to try the masala chips!

Omg not been in here for years ,well food just so yummy best chicken tikka masala had in years .the portion size is excellent. The Pear Tree has a lovely atmosphere and the landlord and landlady are such lovely warm friendly couple ,also the place is spotlessly clean ,will most definitely be going back .

Excellent food if you are a lover of Indian cuisine

I have played pool for 15 years in derby and never left a review from anywhere we have played but the food tonight has been unreal. Unbelievable taste I can't express how good that was. Great bunch of lads, nice atmosphere. Can't wait to be back.

Went there last night food was brilliant been before food was brilliant so highly recommend and in fact the only place I have recommend for food also had great night on pool table stayed late.

First visit with the family. The menu is incredible; would recommend the mixed grill and butter chicken. Tastefully decorated bar and restaurant area with friendly and professional staff. Would visit again

First visit on Sunday with the family, friendly service and nice atmosphere. Food was on par with mixed grill we normally have In Birmingham. Will visit again soon !

Went out for a lads night out to the pear tree for some food 4 months ago , I’ve now been 7 times for either a sit down meal or a takeaway , which considering coming from Belper says it all , well worth a 20 min drive from Belper to collect a takeaway , as for eating in we have taken the kids , lovely friendly atmosphere , great service and we will continue to either eat in or takeaway for a long time to come . Ps and the food is incredible The smiths

All I can say is well well worth a visit 😊 food was soooooo good and there was so much and really good quality will with out any doubt be visiting again and definitely recommend to family and friends 😊

Never disappoint with the quality of food or service, the price ain't bad either! The mix grill platter is a must, the desi curry is equally as delightful! Must not forget the garlic cheese naan, most scrumptious! Just beware it is somewhat noisy being a kids friendly pub, for some it's not Ideal.

Incredible food, all cooked fresh, decent portion sizes and very well priced. Will definitely come here again! The Masala Fries are something you simply have to experience. Very friendly staff made us feel welcome and looked after.
