Not impressed at all. To say the interior needs a refresh is an understatement, it needs a massive deep clean and to be painted throughout.

Possibly the scruffiest place I have ever been. Really dirty walls, disgusting floor, sticky tables. Accessible toilet with loose sink tap, again dirty overall. Looks shabby on the outside and far worse inside. As for the food: the mixed salad consisted of bits of shredded lettuce, tinned sweetcorn, a few chunks of pepper and two pieces of tomato. I would never, ever go there again.

Top marks for the ‘front of house’ staff and chefs today (23/8/24….6.45pm) Excellent service and care in accommodating my allergy. A relaxed, enjoyable evening with lovely food. Thank you very much. Highly recommended.

Great breakfast as usual! Ideal for a slow start with the kids during the summer hols. Booked in for a starurday later in August as it can get really busy

This was the second time in a year we’ve visited, last time our food took so long that we were offered a partial refund, we were hoping for better this time. We were seated quickly and the restaurant was dead. We then waited easily half an hour for our food, and drinks arrived after the meals. Most of our food was really nice but the peas were slightly hard. We then sat for another half an hour waiting for our table to be cleared, it never was. Instead of ordering a dessert we went and paid at the bar. There was three staff on but all seemed to be doing the tables together, so maybe timings for each table were being forgotten. We only came because we had a voucher and I don’t think I’d come again. It’s the second time I’ve taken my grandparents there and the second time we’ve been disappointed. (A slightly picky side note, the staff wearing trainers was abit unprofessional looking but I’ve worked in hospitality, comfort is key 😂)

A great spot to meet up. Good menu and the food was very good and a fair price with some good special offers. We were served by Tasha who was very helpful, friendly and professional. The surroundings were pleasant - the toilets were immaculate - (except for the shabby and sticky worn out floor tiles in the entrance to the Gents). So better than having to go to a bar with the table number as is the norm with many pubs. Disappointing that on this occasion their was no cask ale available - it was settling!

Another great breakfast here this morning. For us 2 adults and the 3 kids just over £20 for breakfast is amazing. It would cost us more to buy it from the shops and we dont have to cook it or wash up!

Good food for reasonably cheap price. Relatively quiet but busy restaurant. Petra is extremely polite and accommodating & Tyler is very attentive.

Called in for a meal on a Sunday evening. Very polite and helpful staff. Karen was very helpful, getting our table sorted for us. The food came very promptly after ordering, and was very tasty and exactly as ordered. We have visited numerous times in the past, and shall continue to do so.

We went on Friday 9th odf Feb ofrmy nephew's 15th birthday. There was 7 of us . It was the 1st time we was eating there From walking through the door to leaving we all agreed it was fantastic The staff are amazing couldn't do enough for us. All of our meals came out together all cooked to perfection and very well presented on the plates. All very tasty we had a little sample of each other's 😝 All the satff where extremely accommodating especially to my niece who is only 6 We asked her what she thought of her meal she said very tasty 😝 That is high praise has she's a very fussy eater We took along a birthday 🎂 and asked could they bring it out after our mains They brought out the cake candles lite singing 🎶 All happy birthday and ☺ Even atthe end the manager came over and asked was everything okay He stood and chatted to us All in all we all have fantastic experience topnotch food matched by top notch staff 👏 👏 We has a family we will definitely be back plus bring many more family members Thank you all

Best breakfast in the Midlands. Freshly cooked to perfection. Served by Tesla today but all the staff are excellent. Nice unlimited coffee as well as OJ, croissants, yoghurt etc.

Great service from Charlie , Food was nice and hot and came fresh with the food and the desert. Enjoyed the meal and definitely will be coming back

We came here for lunch and received a lovely warm welcome from Lindsey! We ordered the smothered platter and every part of it was absolutely delicious! Compliments to the chef and congratulations to Lindsey and the rest of the team for their excellent customer service skills.

I know it was a busy time and the staff were very stretched but, the service was substandard the food was not very good with carrots and sprouts undercooked, not Al dente but nearly raw. Yorkshire pudding had the consistency of kevlar. On the upside the staff were friendly and did their best. I've been to the oast house a lot over the past years but it needs a revamp it's tired and worn and a bit disappointing

Booked into the premier inn next door and went to the Oast house for something to eat. Food was very good, staff excellent, especially Sandra.

This spot is great for a night out for dinner 🥗 there was 6 of us and all enjoyed had nothing to complain about !

Lovely place to visit for lunch. It was fairly quiet, we were seated quickly and efficiently. They were attentive to our needs, we sat near a small heater which was lovely. We both had scampi and chips which was a lovely meal and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. It was reasonably priced. The staff, Lindsay and Kaelum were really pleasant and helpful and looked after us well. All in all, a great visit, well done.

Great service from Lindsay and Tasha at the Oast house. Excellent service from Emma at the hotel next door and compliments to the chef Stan for the lovely food!

We are a large group and staff always try to accommodate us and are willing to provide breakfasts cooked to individual needs. The food is good and value for money. This week we were served by Petra and Lyn who were very helpful , ensured everything met our needs. Petra kept a watchful eye on table and cleared table quickly as we wanted to ensure comfortable to eat remaining courses.

Absolutely wonderful trip to the Oast House to celebrate a birthday with family. Beautiful breakfast, superb service and Tasha and Leah went above and beyond to look after us. We most definitely will be coming back.

Lovely food and great service from Charlie, couldn't asked for.more fo a quick escape for some peaceful food.

Unfortunately this was a very poor experience to introduce to our friend during their first meal here 😞 We ordered ▪︎ Cobb salad with rump steak (medium rare) - Steak was freezing cold, tough & arrived with no steak knife. Waitress very apologetic & offered to replace the steak or the whole meal. We chose to replace the steak & was told it would take around 4mins. Steak arrived quickly, waitress said it had just come off the grill. Still no steak knife. Steak was hot, but when you cut into it, it bled over the salad. The steak although looked medium rare was dry & tough. Couldn't eat rest of salad as was put off with it floating in a pool of blood ▪︎ Cheese burger topped chips - asked for no red onion & extra sauce. Luke warm on arrival but tasted good. Bill error as we were charged an extra £2 which is for an upgrade to a sharing meal which was not ordered. Waitress apologetic for her error. ▪︎ Scampi - Lovely despite not many chips & some scampi not very big. Overall - Meal took ages to arrive & quality in two out of three meals disappointing in general. Although waitress very apologetic & didn't charge for the steak & corrected the bill error, it still was not a very positive first experience for our guest.

Excellent service by Shane and Alex. If it weren’t for their service I would hav only given 3 stars. Unfortunately the chef wouldn’t grant our request as he only adhered to the menu. Food was good but I ordered strawberries and ice cream. I was expecting at least 6 strawberries but not all I got were 6 slithers of strawberries which couldn’t have amounted to any more Thant 2 strawberries maximum so I wouldn’t recommend that sweet.

Good restaurant attached to the Premier Inn. Nice and airy. Food was perfectly good for this sort of setup. Not exactly haute cuisine but but very good. Very quick and efficient service especially from Petra the waitress who was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and also served very quickly.

Excellent service and food with a great price. Shane the manager ,thank you for great service and food. Definitely will be back soon
