Place seems unhygienic and food taste like cardboard.Also the attitude of the owner is like Michelin star chef. Would give negative 10 points.

We are pensioners and have been regular customers of Cavendish Kebabs for many many years. My husband was about to place another order the other day and noticed that it's now costing significantly more. Upon checking, we were shocked to find that this marks the third price increase from your establishment this year. Regrettably, we must inform you that you have lost our custom, and we believe many others may follow suit. Your prices are no longer value for money.

Well i have been eating at cavendish kebabs for many years and the food has always been superb. but last night they supassed superb and verntured into artistic excellence. I can honestly say i have never had a better kebab anywhere... and thats coming from a guy who been all over the world trying kebabs. It was so good and the portion so large that i couldnt finish it and had it for breakfast and it tasted even better if thats possible. Id highly reccomend CK and they have always been consisitant in quality and taste. And the staff are always friendly which is the cherry on the cake. mmmmmmmmm cake. that reminds me thier desserts are also extremely good.

The kebabs not has good as it used to be. Smaller portions all round with higher prices. Still enjoyable the curries are top quality.

Drove from castle Donington to collect food to get back 1 kebab had the shish missing , only onion on both kebabs and dripping in Mayo sauce which I can’t stand . Greasy undercooked Nan breads . Phoned to say shish was missing from kebab to be told its on there I must be blind ! Both kebabs in the bin save your money and use somewhere

First time customer. Ordered donner and tikka mix with fries. Food taste and quality was reasonable. The chicken tikka was tandori chicken instead of proper tikka and the chips tasted average at best, however the donner was nice.

Love this place so much, great food and great service. Delivery driver is the nicest man ever, always brings food quickly and with a smile. The Curry meal for 2 is brilliant as you even get a choice of speciality dish.

Stay clear of this place!!!! Firstly, the food was grizzly and the Nan bread tasteless! Secondly, the portions and quality for the price was not worth the call! Go to Anoki if you want to pay good money for proper curry! Lastly, half the order was missing! When calling the place and spoke to the person in the end of the phone! I was told that they were not coming out to complete my order and that it was my fault!!! Stay clear - well clear!

First time was banging and generous portions, this time my box of kebab and chips sad. Consistency is key and it all depends on who's preparing your food at this place. The delivery driver sits in his car, calls you and says I've been looking everywhere, erm no you haven't mate cause you've just bloody arrived and i watched you arrive on cctv lol 😂 also you charge extra for chicken tikka and still serve red tandoori chicken which is full of gristle and my daughter was put off half way through.

Really disappointed, the meal we ordered was incorrect. Due to allergy's I have to order no sauces so ordered plain chicken tikka but instead get a chicken tikka curry. They said because ordered through Just Eat it was there fault because of menu🤔 Yet it says served with salad and yoghurt dip so it can't be there fault, so I had to sit with chips and half a garlic bread how exciting. No offer of a refund they could have got back off Just Eat🙄

Nice staff, nice food but small kebabs... Had a large chicken and large donner... But used to alot more at 3chefs... They tried to tell me that 3chefs meat is not good quality but I honestly didn't think there's was better... Never again... Need value for money.... I can feed 6 people at 3chefs for £20... £25 here and only fed four....

Nice garlic naan, nice chicken tikka, but lamb solid as a rock. Mean portion of salad after paying extra to have it separate... Why?? Paid extra for sauce separate... Got zero sauce! Not even the free sauce! Sad to leave negative review but just not worth the money albeit they have potential to offer quality food.

Went down on Wednesday about 6.00 ordered a 3 mix Kebab which is £7.40 normally .I asked for Doner, Garlic Chicken, Steak in a tray said that would be £7.90 because of the steak I was fine. Took 15 minutes since they was busy got my food and returned home. Left the food for later since I wanted a beer or two on the sunny evening.Came to eating it later bloody tray was full of doner with 3 strips of steak the garlic chicken the size of my 10 yrs daughters finger Avoid this bandit shop.

Normally have the chicken tikka special but choose a differant curry sauce each time. Comes with rice, salad and nan. Perfect meal for two people for under £10.

I order from Cavendish kebabs pretty much every week if not twice a week. The food is always hot and very good quality and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Making an overall great experience.

Great mutton kebab. They have a good variety of curries and naan. Delivery options available, min £14 Do try Tandoori chicken masala..it's the best of the curry I have tasted. As compared to Anoki and The chest but tree pub 2Feb, chicken desi - excellent, but was a little watered down and had less salt. Hope they come up with something new, creamy, spicy and delicious.

Every Fornight my self and family friends get together to watch either walking dead or game of thrones. And when it's time to eat we always order from Cavendish Kebabs. First of all staff are always friendly ensuring orders are correct and always giving suggestions for to try any other snacks and dishes they serve. The food and meals are always well presented and taste amazing. If anyone in our movie group tend to have something specific the team at Cavendish Kebabs always honour the request. In store and Delivery driver service the staff are fantastic.

Bought a vegetarian supreme family pizza. Average taste with very less vegetables. Same pizza could be very good if sufficient vegetables were used.

Ordered some food tonight for delivery. After almost 40 minutes the food was delivered, but was found to be almost cold. Phoned them back, only to be given the excuse that the delivery driver must have left his car window open😳😳 Only a 5 or 6 minute drive to our house from their place. Very poor service on a fairly slack night of the week.

Great lads 10/10 never let us down yet 5 star

Kabab is definitely one of my favourite foods, however, every place prepares it differently and use naan’s to pita breads and the quality of meat varies drastically so gambling on a new Kabab shop outside of your home town away from your usual, is risky business. I’ve never had a Kabab in derby before and really fancied a treat; CAVENDISH WAS A GOD SEND. By far, the BEST KABAB EVER. They are huge and heavy and very very filling. Made with fresh thick naan bread and rolled perfectly, jam packed with probably the best tasting tikka, sheesh and Donna Kabab meat I’ve ever had. If you want the best Kabab of your life look no further. Going again on Saturday as I need my fix!!

We have used this takeaway for many years but today has been the last. As a family we called up to confirm our order. At the point of ordering we was informed they had stopped the NHS discount. At this stage we was asked to put the order through online which would still enable the discount. Therefore we did this and it was not clear during the phone call how we do this. We carried on and placed the order but this had not been done correctly on our behalf. You know we are all human and we make mistakes. I then made a further phone call politely and told them of the scenario we had. From the management which we have dealt with for many years and put customers there way all we got was abuse down the phone. Said he was having a busy day and can’t deal with it. Basically put the phone down on us. Well if that’s how you want to treat customers there won’t be many left. There are plenty of takeaways out there and you can do far better as the don’t care about there customers.

Guy on the phone was lacking customer service skills but it's a takeaway so you get what you get. The food took about 40 minutes to get to us we're in mickleover so about 1 mile or so away (on a Tuesday at 7.30pm). The portions aren't great, I ordered donner meat, chips on a naan. Thought they forgot the chips at first when I opened it but the few I got were hidden away. Wife had cheese and chips. Barely any cheese. Cost £8.70 As £1.50 delivery regardless of order price. So not bad price wise. Quality of food was ok. To summarise... I am going to try others before i would order from here again but it's not terrible. They could certainly up their game and get a lot more repeat business.

We have used this takeaway numerous times. There have been nights when the food has not been as good as it should be. Tonight was just the tipping point to place a bad review. We all accept that take away food is hit and miss. Tonight we received our order in good time. Looking forward to a tasty meal, however a disappointing meal arrived. The meat in the starter kebabs could only be described as something that had been cooked and reheated on more than one occasion. If a hammer was required it would have been ideal for the job. The tandoori chicken looked good, but hey same as the starter meat. Rang the shop to make them aware of the fact the food was not up to a reasonable standard and ask to speak to manager. The managers response was as nonchalant as could be. “ I cooked it fresh, it is fresh”. When I told him it was not freshly cooked his response was not polite. Based on the managers idea off customer communication I would strongly recommend trying another take away establishment before handing money over to this two bit fool who has no respect for his customers.

Just had a prawn Bhuna from this place, half of the container was full of grease, over salted and zero taste. Avoid!

Lovely good, amazing service. Owner and staff are very friendly, delivery man is always cheerful and polite! Never had reason to complain, usually have food delivered but whenever I've collected the owner and staff always take time out to talk to my two little boys.
