I order every week and the food has always been amazing. The delivery guys are always happy and have a smile.. if for any reason I have to ring up the guys are always happy to help out in any way.. great food, great service 👍

Waited a hour and half for chicken and chips and onion rings very soggy and cold if ur not interested in giving out nice food then this shouldn't be ur job I won't be going there again horrible food

So we had a bit of a rollercoaster tonight ordering from here. My wife used to order all the time but hadn’t for a while, remembered she loved it so gave it a go. A blast from the past you might say. It didn’t quite go according to plan as there was a mis-communication between the restaurant and the driver. Without going into too much detail (and it’s a happy ending), after what felt like an age and disappointment, we were taken back by the response. The owner Farouk (apologies if I misspelled) was admirable. On the phone whilst my wife was respectfully voicing her dissatisfaction of the food once it arrived, a very empathetic person on the other end of the phone sincerely apologised and guaranteed delivery of our fresh order within 15 minutes. This was honoured, and to our surprise was delivered, in person by the owner himself. He was incredibly kind, gave us complimentary drinks and desert and could not be more accommodating. The food was (as my wife explained) exactly as she remembered and delicious. I have never experienced such considerate and amazing customer service as what I did this evening. Thank you immensely Mamma Mia and especially Farouk. You’re a true gentleman.

Absolutely disgraceful food.Fish was wet in a very soggy coating.Chicken wings were in a masala coating which was not advertised on the menu because if I knew it was masala seasonings I wouldn't of entertained it...false advertising, get your menu right please...25 quid and we ate thechips with some sauce...I would never eat here again, my husband point blank refused to eat this food.worst takeout in the last couple of years and I hope people take note of this review because the food really was that bad.

Absolutely awful. Been a very loyal customer for years and years, last 6 months every order has been wrong. No apologies. Very ignorant when you tell them it's there mistake. Must be a new manager, old manager was spot on and knew our order inside out. What's happend.....never going back after over 10 years service.

Ordered four milkshakes, two Oreo, Ferraro Roche and a strawberry milkshakes through Just Eat which were not up to scratch. They all just tasted like vanilla ice cream and not the flavours ordered. Was happily promised by Faiz he would sort it. This hasn’t materialised as he couldn’t remember the transaction so my loss and I happily won’t be ordering again.

Uber eats order- never again worst place on London Road. Donor was tasteless no flavour just lots of chilli sauce. Masala fish was fryed batter covered fish with yes again lots of chilli sauce to make it masala fish. Stick to MonMos or Delizia both on a different level. This low class place dont belong next to them👎

Best kebabs in Derby, been ordering from them for 10 years. On the rare occasion there's a mistake with the order they put it right straight away.

Been using this place since 98 and its been very good and care taken in a busy environment,hard working and fast serving,can rate the pizza's highly,not the doughy rubbish as in most fast food places,had a madras recently made to order and it was as good as any high priced restaurant,reasonable prices aswell,2 cable big TV's on wall and parking....sorted! (If you have a bad experience please let me know,as you shouldn't and i take it personally thanks)

Ordered a waffle it was dry, cold, not even delivered in a carrier bag let alone a delivery bag. There was barley any strawberry’s on it and the sauce was dry wasted my money.

One of the best kebab places to get a family kebab. However sometimes the delivery drivers forget an item or two.

Not good experience with them,in my burger meat was metal wire.Went to them and ask how it could happen,they said probably it's from where they buying the meat.Ask to owner contact me,never happen.

I ordered a small donner shish kebab , the shish was cooked to perfection and had really nice flavour , the donner meat was also cut very nicely and was juicy ! Naan bread was fluffy and fresh, also nice fresh salad , keep up the good work guys , excellent food very happy customer ! 👍🏽

Not impressed my chips was half a tad and cold and a tablespoon of coleslaw for 1.60 is a rip off

We placed an order and was told it would be from 45 minutes to an hour but it took over an hour to come. The burgers were filled with sauce and the buns were slipping off. The food was not presentable and the packaging was just wrapped in anyhow. I was disappointed because the pricing is high and the customer service is rubbish. Did not enjoy.

Only recently started ordering from here and now it's my go to take away! Food is absolutely amazing! Pizzas, burgers, kebabs... Nothing these guys can't do! Definitely recommend! Should be 5 star! Customer service and cleaniness is top notch as well!

Since the start of lockdown having i have had more time to explore takeways rather then the normal munch from a local shop..WOW mamma mia's is the fast food Game Changer! 😍🔥🔥🔥. The chicken grill pasta has real kick to it.

Ordered chips and cheese & the chips are still frozen. Cheese smells like sick. Very un hygenic. Will not be ordering again. Worst experience ive ever had. Then when you ring them they just ignore the phone. Ridiculous.

The food was astonishingly disgusting and plain. It had clearly been microwaved and it showed. I ordered a garlic burger (1. Which was not even fully cooked through and 2. I had asked for cheese on the burger which I did not get and for the chips to be salted) these requests were ignored. And I also ordered a brownie. Within having taken 2 bites of the burger my stomach was rebelling and having painful cramps - having only finished half of the burger, nibbled on a few chips and had 2 bites of the brownie I had food poisoning symptoms. I had to go throw up and even then my body was still not happy with that and I was on the toilet waiting for my system to clear the food out not even 40 minutes after I tried the food. I do NOT recommend that you eat here least you with to experience food poisoning. As for the taste of the food, it was complete medioxracy. The chips were unseasoned and tasted like cardboard. The burger tasted of nothing but the garlic mayo (I couldn't even taste the beef). And the microwaved brownie... Covered in custard in a clear takeaway box. Having worked in catering before I knew that these are the kind of puddings you heat up from frozen however they could have at least tried with the presentation because it was mucky. It was passable but just barely. Overall the entire experience was revolting. Please do not eat here for the sake of your bowels.

I ordered desserts and drinks. The brownie waffle, and ferrero rocher cheesecake. Can't fault either item!

We are using this place from ages but I’m shocked when I ordered tonight first the driver didn’t gave my order right secondly the pizzas are hard I think they forgot how to make a pizza dough n how it gonna be cook shocking and highly disappointed we were be careful in future to order at this place😞😒😷

Restaurant delivery and driver lovely. Disgusting food though 😂 - definitely won’t be ordering. Food was like what a uni student would make in a couple of minutes in a rush. Ordered some pasta thinking it would be nice and spicy but it was just supermarket pasta sauce thrown over the top of some boiled pasta - no flavour. Jacket potatoes also had no flavour,

This place is auful.I cant find words to describe how horrible the customer service in this place is.The food is quite nice actually,but only when they get the order right! If I had to rate this place from 1 to 10 , I would give it 1.

Looking for something affordable to eat in a small English city at around 23:00 without straying far from the train station is easier said than done. However, after browsing through several moderately priced and slummy-looking takeaways, we settled on this one because of the pizza, fries, and drink deal offered on the window outside. Most of the rest of the restaurant was occupied by a large and very loud group of locals who seemed to be friends of the staff and therefore were treating the dining area like they owned the place, but they didn't bother us once we ordered and sat down by the wall. Everything on the menu was halal, but the staff also didn't seem to mind us quietly drinking alcohol while we waited for our order as we weren't bothering anyone else. The wait time was about twenty minutes, but there was the large group immediately before us so this was understandable. The pizza was a bit greasy, but really tasty: standard British kebab shop pizza. Nothing special, but meaty, cheesy, and filling. The fries were completely unseasoned which was a little off putting, especially as we had no mixing bowl to season them properly ourselves, but at least they gave us some salt when we asked for it. The price was a little hith for what it was, but then again UK is a very expensive country by any standard. It pretty much reflected what could be bought in any kebab shop around the country: it's tasty, nothing special, but you know exactly what you're going to get.

All my food was cold on arrival.

It arrived almost an hour late after telling us it would be here by 8pm, which we had to call up 2/3 times about! The pizza was over cooked, the chips were chewy and the mint yoghurt sauce had to of been out of date! When our food finally arrived they had forgotten our milkshakes which we had to wait another 20/30 minutes for, then when they did FINALLY arrive one of them wasn’t even the correct flavour! Won’t be using again and a complete waste of money!

Food was good paid extra for the fererro Roche gelato got sent plain vanilla apart from that can't fault

Normally brilliant but tonight I had to phone after being 25 mins late to get delivery then the driver forgot to deliver part of order so had to phone yet again. Really bad service especially for a quiet Tuesday from somewhere that is normally really good.

When given a time you should be there at the latest.. Not after.. It sets expectation to set a time you do not meet

Ordered 2 pieces of chicken with doner and chips but didn’t get the doner, too much of a hassle to call up and wait for them to send it out again so didn’t bother. Cookie dough was nice but Oreo milkshake was just chocolate ice cream with cream and Oreos on top

I usually LOVE mamma mias food especially their kebabs i recommend to people. But today i was very disappointed the donnar meat wasnt fresh at all also very greasy. The kofta was really hard. Pretty disappointed put me off ordering again unfortunately.

Delivery driver knocked at the door with his vehicle parked near my drive with the back of the vehicle full and the front. When i went to collect my delivery i felt intimidated as there was a car full of people waiting for the driver as they had just closed. Im pretty sure none of them would order a taxi and expect it to arrive with 5 people inside therefore i dont expect to go to my door to pick up my order and to then have all those people have my address. Whether staff or not, the food was disgusting genuinely tasted of sweaty old men the left over grease on the chips could of made my fry up. My housemate rang up to make a complaint about myself feeling intimidated and instead of an apology he gets met with smart comments. Would not reccomend this even to the homeless, get better food from a pet store
