Got two meat pizzas instead of our veggie ones couldn't eat them

Food was 90 mins late from original delivery time. Also they missed the pizza, only received sides.

Great delivery, but the pizza was cold

Me and my family came for a celebration lunch on Saturday and were served by Laura. She was so lovely and made us feel really well looked after. Please let her know she did an awesome job!

Food arrived cold and delivery was late. Sauce for chicken wings had spilled all over the food. The dough balls were tiny and didn’t come with garlic butter. Such a waste of money. Will not be ordering again.

Myself, daughter and granddaughter called in this evening to eat. We were shown to a table reasonably quickly and given menus. From there everything went downhill. We sat waiting for our order to be taken, and we waited, and waited, another couple came in and got their food and drinks and we still sat there waiting for our order to be taken. In the end we decided we had waited long enough so got up and went somewhere else. We can’t comment on the food because we didn’t get any. The 1* is for the service we didn’t receive.

Not bad at all food was ok and service was 4/5 but I was disappointed with the garlic butter provided with dough balls. Only a tiny amount was supplied and this was no accident as it’s measured out with a tiny ice cream scoop. Nothing like any pictures of what you should be getting and not enough for the dough balls so I just ended up leaving half of them. Picture attached.

Poor experience and wouldn’t recommend to my family and friends Poor food choices for vegetarians and the new menu I choose and when food arrived I didn’t feel it was to a good standard I know everyone is different and can be hard to please But when u leave most of your pizza , a comment would have been asked But maybe I should have highlighted plus very expensive for what you receive Would not go again and would not recommend

Good service and pleasant restaurant inside the shopping centre. Staff were really helpful and food was served quickly on a weekday evening. Allergy information was readily available. We used the Pizza Express app to easily split the bill, which also saved us some money via special offers, so would recommend downloading it.

The food was freezing by the time it arrived. Everything was there, but due to having to reheat it spoilt the pizzas (dried them out). Think somethings are best kept in the restaurant rather than delivery. Or the driver should follow the map more accurately so he doesn’t go to the wrong address, and maybe using appropriate heat bags might help keep food warm.

It took 1 hour 56 minutes for drinks, 3 pizzas and a children’s meal, so be prepared for a long wait if your eating here. Pizzas were ok. Very friendly service :)

We dined in for lunch this morning and we’re absolutely appalled at the service and attitude of the staff. We were offered no condiments and the food was barely lukewarm at most across the board. The staff were gathered around the pass and no food was making its way out quickly, furthermore one of the kitchen staff appeared to be wearing headphones which may have cause the delay in communications to the front of house staff. We asked for one of the pizzas to be taken off the bill as it was barely edible, we were instead offered a fresh pizza to be made but as we were in a rush to be in and out we declined this. No managers came to check and we weren’t checked on after the food was dropped off. Altogether not a great experience from one of our favourite restaurants.

Ordered collection as delivery wasn’t available! Woman didn’t know anything about the order, order no wasn’t enough apparently and still couldn’t track it! Lack of staff on duty. Pizzas took 20 mins longer to be ready seems like they started cooking it when they couldn’t track the order! Ordered the chips too, received 12 tasteless chips for £5.99! Didn’t enjoy at all, was freezing cold by the time we got to eat it. Added extra mushrooms and got about 10 in total. Waste of money!

After ordered the food, we waited for more than one hour, no one brought our pizza, but all other tables who came later got their food. No explanation from anyone. It’s not the first time having this issue with Pizzaexpress, they just ignored people, no respect at all (probably their culture is racism). Such a waste of time. Disappointed and disgusted by their service. Would NEVER go again.

The restaurant itself was not busy in the slightest although we waited over 50 minutes for our main courses to be served . My bowl of pasta was set down along with 2 pizzas. No offering of Parmesan which had to be asked for after a period of time only to take 10 minutes to be brought over. One of the sides we ordered was served halfway through our mains and I ended up cancelling the other which clearly had been forgotten about. The girl who took our order was nowhere to be seen and despite trying to get her attention seemed to go out of her way not to make eye contact. I finally got the attention of another waitress, Sasha. Although not her fault was extremely apologetic and advised she’d spoken to the Manager who was going to come over to sort our bill. Sadly he never arrived, leaving Sasha to make excuses for him and pick up the pieces. She was polite and professional…everything you’d expect. Thank you Sasha. We were seated by the entrance and witnessed a multitude of delivery drivers waiting for food. I can only assume by the lengthy time of our food to be served that take out orders are being oriotised over diners. We will not be returning.

Louisa was absolutely amazing with our birthday celebration! Did her best with out of stock items which obviously weren’t her fault, but she handled it well and was great! Food was good all around xxx

was late by 1 hour, it didn't even change from accepted to preparing for 30 minutes. it arrived cold and the pizza isn't even sliced

Upon arrival, you are warmly greeted with a smile and seated. Beverages are provided, which were of excellent quality. We ordered a set meal, which included a starter of dough balls wrapped in bacon. These were delectable. We then had two main courses: a beef pizza and a chicken parmigiana. My surprise was that the pizza came with a few beef toppings, which I was initially disappointed by, but ultimately found to have a pleasant flavor. The chicken parmigiana, however, lacked any discernible flavor. Overall, the waiters were attentive and friendly, and the restaurant ambiance was pleasant.

I asked for no seasoning to be put on my food. The pizza arrived with pepper which my body disagrees with and the size was covered in seasoning. I had rang prior to ask for this to be plain and they assured me it would be.

Never thought I would ever say this but there was way too much pepperoni. Literally stacks of it, a bit of a joke to be honest.

We went for my sons birthday yesterday. The food was lovely. The waiter was fantastic. Very polite and helpful. To top it off the waiter brought my son out a birthday dessert and candle and sang happy birthday. It was totally unexpected and a lovely surprise. It made our experience that bit more special. Will definitely be going again.

The staff are 🤩 amazing. The supervisor was very efficient, helpful and friendly. We added extra people to our booking and despite being mega busy he sorted it out .

Asked for no black pepper as it sets of an allergic reaction and causes coughing and throat to become tight and itchy, food took 28 minutes to be delivered

Ordered pizza off Deliveroo, the toppings were lackluster, hardly any cheese and a thin bit of tomato sauce. Also it wasn’t even crispy. Overall a big disappointment for a restaurant rated 4.3 stars.

Very welcoming from the get go I can't remember the woman's name but she had glasses and blonde hair she was very happy and smiley made me and my missus feel very welcoming and comfortable tipped her £5 at the end. She was excellent

Came for a meal last night, our server (Sasha if i remember correctly) was incredible, she was so lovely and made us feel so welcome. The food was lovely as well, definitely recommended the pesto pasta.

Food was stone cold and took 30mins from being collected to be delivered.

My boyfriend and I were served by a young lady called Lilly. She did a fantastic job! She made us feel very comfortable and at ease. She was very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely time and will certainly be dining here again soon!

Great Food. Brilliant staff, quick service, everyone happy to help. Three excellent, delicious courses - bruschetta, sloppy guiseppe, tiramisu; all delish. Would recommend to anyone. Will be coming back.

I have a lot of intolerances and asked today specifically not to have seasonings on my pizza and the waitress definitely heard me and the pizza still came with loads of seasonings on and I now have an upset stomach, when people ask for these things it is very often for a reason and should be listened to and followed!

We love this place because is always delicious and kids friendly. The only low point is that sometimes they take a long time to take your order, last time 20 minutes waiting for it and the local was not full. And some dishes (al forno) are served not hot, but burning. But is still being our favourite place to eat.

PE doesn’t even do proper authentic Italian food, which is a shame from frozen gelato that is really ice cream kept in the freezer to selling mostly American and other countries foods on a pizza. If you want to try proper Italian food, go to Italy or other restaurants in London.

Visited today for a family birthday, excellent service and food , it was a really good atmosphere despite it being busy all the staff were efficient and welcoming. Looking forward to coming again soon, many thanks.

The food was amazing. Our server was absolutely fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. The children's meal deal is great value for money. We had a lovely meal and would definitely recommend.

Booked online arrived 10 minutes early and waitied at the door to me met by the most miserable waitress in history, rude, with red hair, she didnt even crack a smile, took us to our seat and said "they you are" , she didnt introduce herself or say ill be back to take a drinks order from you, "nothing!! " we waitied 20 mins for me to ask another waitress to take our order. Food was nice, except the chips they were horrible with a mushy texture! I suggest in training your staff in customer service or better still employ people who actually want to be there and make your customers feel welcome!!

The food was cold, bland, had no seasoning and made me unwell. Unfortunately I threw both pizzas in the bin as they were inedible.

I used to come here all the time, however since January the pizza quality has gone drastically downhill. I always order margarita pizza, in the past with no problems, however the last few occasions the pizza had a little bit of tomato sauce and next to nothing cheese. I asked the manager why this is and she informed me that they have been told to measure out quantities by the head office. If you are going to put less ingredients, then you need to put down your prices on these already expensive pizzas. Also the size of their fudge chocolate cake is small too. Felt like I was being ripped off. Unfortunately this is an end of an era for me. Adios.

I had a dreadful experience today at Pizza Express. It was my husband's birthday, and unfortunately, we encountered several issues. His pizza had a problem in the kitchen, resulting in a delay of 10 minutes compared to mine. However, when the pizza finally arrived, it was raw. Despite our complaint, the second pizza was also undercooked. While they were apologetic and we didn't have to pay for "the meal", my husband missed out on his birthday lunch. What's worse is that this isn't the first time we've faced such problems here. Last time, we waited for 2 hours only to find out they forgot our order. If possible, I'd recommend avoiding this place.

Food was nice and it was quiet for a Monday. Service was a little slow but good.

Not always consistent with the food at this branch and they often get my order wrong using normal cheese instead of vegan. Even dough balls are getting smaller every time i visit

Spread of starters was good. They accept Tesco vouchers, which is good. Pizza is average , nothing special about it. Service needs to be a bit more prompt, the used plates were piled up and it was not cleared till the end.

Would give zero if I could! Ordered at 18:40pm and order arrived at 20:30pm, food arrived cold and so had to reheat. Answered door and without prompting just eat blamed the restaurant which I know wasn’t true as I over heard the manager doing as much as possible to sort out just eats error and remake the order and ask a different courier to hold on to bring our order to us. Second time this has happened to us, won’t be using Just Eat again. No apologies, just pass the blame onto other people.

never tried pizza express before and wont be trying it again, honestly the worst pizza iv ever had. extra topping of cheese was £2.50 on maybe an 8 inch pizza and it wasnt even that nice. the bread was standard. the dough balls didnt taste of anything. the wings were nice tbf and the butter dip. i dont like to leave bad reviews but on this on i just felt the need to as it was just not what i thought it was going to be. total cost of £40 for 3x tiny flat horrible pizzas never again

I rang and asked if I could switch the toppings for the la reine that I'd order on just eat, they said I could, I also requested they be switched in the delivery instructions (Didn't know where else to put it) they didn't switch the toppings.

Pizzas smal for price, and the lights were flickering, quite badly and quite a lot of them.

Normally the food is great but unfortunately we went yesterday and the aircon was on it made the food go cold very quickly I had to really eat is fast which wasn't nice. I did mention it to the staff by the time I could get hold of someone it was too late.

Ordered a delivery for a pepperoni pizza, dough balls and a bottle of Fanta, the delivery then turned up with a completely different pizza, chicken wings, pasta and apple juice, completely wrong, and then to top it off, the food was stone cold, waste of time and money

Waited over 2 hours and the Just Eat tracker did not change from “Driver assigned”. Got in touch with the restaurant who told me the food had been collected and probably STOLEN by the Just Eat driver. Finally received food almost 3 hours after placing order once it was remade and delivery reorganised. Please note, this was for my partner’s birthday and she cried.

I visited pizza express today for the first time in a while and had the best customer service experience i have ever had. Firstly, the waitress on my section was called Laura and she was amazing! She was so kind and we had really nice conversations with her. She was incredible with looking after us and made our experience here very memorable. Laura should deserve recognition for this! Secondly, the food was so good, for starters i had the garlic bread with mozerella which was mouth watering and will definately be getting this next time. For my main i have the BBQ pizza and it was delicious, it was too big to eat but will definitely be getting again! Overall, i had the best experience here today! (Please give Laura recognition as she is an incredible waitress and i loved speaking to her!!)
