We stopped in there for lunch while visiting family in the area. It's hidden away in an industrial estate, so you probably wouldn't find it unless you went looking for it! There is a great selection of toasties, as well as the usual select of coffees and cakes. The staff were very friendly and chatty. Apparently it gets very busy at peak times, but we experienced a very short queue. There is limited seating there, but most people seemed to take away anyway. Bonus: it's located next to a car wash, so you can have a bite to eat while your car is cleaned!

The China Garden food is so consistent in quality and is absolutely delicious. I have been coming here for a few years now and quite honestly wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. I have been to various Chinese takeaways in the past but none compares to the China Garden.

The Staff at The Olive Branch always have a smile and they are volunteers. Nothing is too much trouble and they always make us feel welcome. The Homemade Cakes look delicious and the large Cheese Scones are always eaten by my friends. In the colder weather my friends usually have their soup and I always see someone in there eating a Full English Breakfast at lunchtime.

We were asked to do a blind tasting for the launch of “Ruby Tuesday” night at The Stag. Nothing to do with the Rolling Stones but all about Ruby = Ruby Murray in rhyming slang = Curry, a weekly event to start in March. 3 different curries were provided, you may choose from a weekly selection - beef, chicken, lamb, mild to fiery, vegan too (all super tasty) - and, in addition Coconut and plain rice Naan Dhal Poppadums with mango chutney All for just £47.50 for two. There is a selection of puddings which changes on a monthly basis, so leave a little bit of room for that, and a great selection of beers, wines and non-alcoholic drinks at sensible prices. Honestly aching after all we ate, you will really have to try this.

First visit , will definitely be back. We frequent a lot of local cafes and this has to be one of the best, it can be a bit noisy but that’s only because it’s really busy. Food and drink both good quality and the selection of cakes and pastries is better than anywhere that I can recall locally. A really great cafe.

Popped in for a cheeky pint and some lunch. Both had the Korean burger off the specials menu, and WOW! Think it must be one of the tastiest burgers I've ever had, just delicious! New chef apparently. Staff were lovely and welcoming, sat outside, loads of tables, super service and food, well done and thankyou 🙏

This was a two night stay gift from a family member. Peaceful location. The owner was a very friendly and helpful person. The rooms had all you need. We had dinner included on the first night which was lovely. We had a cooked breakfast both mornings which were great. Decent amount of gluten free options on the menu. Friendly feedback: some sort of note in the rooms with the wifi password would be helpful to guests. The hairdryer could do with an update as it was not very effective. The shower door/glass panel could do with sealing due to leakage of the water from the shower.
