The best restaurants in Brixworth Daventry East Midlands

We stopped in there for lunch while visiting family in the area. It's hidden away in an industrial estate, so you probably wouldn't find it unless you went looking for it! There is a great selection of toasties, as well as the usual select of coffees and cakes. The staff were very friendly and chatty. Apparently it gets very busy at peak times, but we experienced a very short queue. There is limited seating there, but most people seemed to take away anyway. Bonus: it's located next to a car wash, so you can have a bite to eat while your car is cleaned!

So delicious, although our order was wrong it was super yummy!! We got a take out and it was such good value. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was super helpful. I missed my king prawns though. It would of been a five xx

The Staff at The Olive Branch always have a smile and they are volunteers. Nothing is too much trouble and they always make us feel welcome. The Homemade Cakes look delicious and the large Cheese Scones are always eaten by my friends. In the colder weather my friends usually have their soup and I always see someone in there eating a Full English Breakfast at lunchtime.

Such a lovely place, not too far from home. Will definitely put it on my favourite list.

Plain chicken was off 2nd time given them another chance never again

First visit , will definitely be back. We frequent a lot of local cafes and this has to be one of the best, it can be a bit noisy but that’s only because it’s really busy. Food and drink both good quality and the selection of cakes and pastries is better than anywhere that I can recall locally. A really great cafe.

The best coffee in the area - superb views - friendly staff, great bacon rolls too! I am a fairly regular visitor to this lovely venue, long may it continue as an independent. Its so nice that it is not a chain nor a bland offering as is usually found at similar settings.

Fabulous place, perfect location for our family to meet. Food was delicious and the staff were great. We were a party of 16 and everything went smoothly and everyone enjoyed their food, thank you, we will be back!

Visited The Stag at Maidwell for a wonderful Christmas Meal with friends. The food was delicious and plentiful. A very warm welcome and excellent service from Rob, Rachael and the Team. Highly recommended.

We had a really lovely B&B stay here. The rooms are in a separate building to the pub - so nice and quiet. Super comfy beds and cosy bed linen. The breakfast was fantastic - a perfect old school English Breakfast - with butchers sausages and black pudding, eggs cooked how you like them, hash browns, tomatoes..... Yummy. The staff made us feel very welcome and we were well looked after. They were particularly kind to our children - sorting them out with Hot Chocolates and unusual breakfast requirements. They even went to the trouble of posting home some much loved cuddly toys that had been left behind. Thank you Billy and Team.
