Proper village pub, small enough to care yet big enough to cope. The bitter was stunning, the real log fire an attraction (despite it being unseasonably warm) but the big winner here is the pizzas - delivered from a van in the car park. It's small but worth seeking out. Please note: cash only!!

This must be the only private basic cafe we have been to that serves ^FRESH^ butter with their toast & butties! . Hardly a 'greasy Joe' ..it is spotless, fresh, delicious food & very reasonably priced. We love a fresh English Breakfast in a basic cafe, where the price point is affordable but the food 5 stars. This has to be the best we have been to for years.

We recently visited Edi'z for a late lunch for a birthday celebration. The food was great, with a lovely choice on the day time menu. However, the service was very poor. Two serving, both either just sat chatting or on their phones. We werent given a menu, so helped ourselves after about 10 mins of waiting. Main meal plates were not cleared after we had finished even though we then went up to order a dessert. A total lack of interest in us as a customer from the front of house staff. Very disappointing, I hope you sort this as your food was really good as was the coffee.

After visiting the white swan a few weeks ago and having a beautiful Sunday lunch (which we left a review for, Featherblade of Beef, 5*). We went back hoping for another delicious dinner, inky to find an uninterested abrupt person telling us it was carvery only today. We paid at the bar, got our drinks and weâre sent round the back to get our food. , I was really shocked to see the state and quality of the food, The meat that was meant to be pork was unrecognisable, there wasnât any left, the beef was tough and dry. Potato mash was slop, catering Yorkshire puddings, dried sticky stuffing, cold slimy veg, sprouts were frozen sprouts but okay and the carrots were cold. Multi coloured peas and all just of a very poor standard. . Itâs a Catering cavery, really poor standard. It might have been fresher earlier but it was really bad, I took mine back and said I couldnât eat it .. the girl took my plate back snd just said oh sorry about that. But weâd paid and there was no alternative or explanation or refund of any sort. Be warned if youâre expecting food based on previous reviews. You wonât get it!., We left and drive to eyes arms at Rampton. The food was hot freshly cooked and delicious . Dinner out is meant to be a treat.. be warned if your hungry and planning on wasting hard earned cash at this place .. .. not that money
