Went for a friends 50th, and it was lovely. Food and service couldn't have been any better. Our party of 14 were the only one's there

We had a very long wait for a table, but that was to be expected for a Friday Night. However, the food, service, and ease of taking our modified order more than made up for that, and it arrived very quickly considering.

Went for my wife's birthday with friends. Meals were lovely, staff very attentive. My wife was given a piece of chocolate fudge cake, this was as tasty as the meals. When we were leaving she was presented with some Christmas cake, and asked to review it. Quoting the wife, "The cake was moist, very tasty and had lovely icing."

We really enjoyed our meal at Jhinook. I had a mixed kebab to start which was tasty. My main was a chicken naga, the chicken was super tender and the curry was good and spicy. Service was friendly and fast. The meal was good value.

Lovely food and outstanding service. The chutney tray was amazing with a choice of six tasty chutneys. Massive choice and family friendly. If we were local, we would visit often.

Tried to book by phone but Poor reception at Clumber park where we are staying so 4 of us chanced it on a Saturday night by just turning up hoping to get a table,upon arrival at around 18:30 restaraunt was already busy with diners and people collecting takeaway. We were lucky enough to be seated quite quickly despite how busy they were. Service was really good all staff members friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was good,though it was more or less full by now it didn’t feel overcrowded as some table are at different levels and cordoned off,so you are in a busy restaurant but you still feel the privacy of your own table. Food was absolutely delicious,prices were good.would definately recommend if you in the area but suggest booking in advance.

Exceptionally good experience. Busy Saturday night and, although I was a lone diner, I hadn’t booked, but I wasn’t turned away. First-class solicitousness in terms of service. Food slightly on the sweet side for my taste, but delicious nevertheless, and very generous portions. Worksop has become a rather sad and desolate town, but this restaurant was a thriving oasis, well worth visiting in its own right.

Fantastic food, gem of a restaurant on Worksop. Atmosphere and restaurant inside is lovely. Staff very attentive too.

10/10 Food. Absolutely brilliant. Not long moved to the area and did some research on the local Facebook pages and so many raved about this place and I can see why. Delivery was fab too, driver was very friendly. We will be returning. Thank you 👍🏻

Without doubt the best Indian I’ve ever been to. Took my mates the other week and they all say the same. Best pickle tray ever, great choices & top quality service.

Our lads curry club visited and overall the restaurant scored in the top 3 in notts and south yorks on our score sheet. Best pickle tray we’ve experienced. Great staff definitely worth a visit. (Great value)

Could not fault any part of our dining exoerience. The service was excellent; timely, attentive, professional yet friendly. All six members of the team we came into contact with were very helpful and very polite. The food was a feast for your eyes as well as your palate & totally delicious!

Second time here and the food was perfect the staff are polite and attentive but not over powering. We went for butter chicken and it was perfect the sauce was gorgeous and the garlic bread and onion bargees topped it off. The prices are right too. Can’t wait to go back. Recommend booking especially weekend it gets very busy.

This has a really good reputation and is very popular, but I fail to see why. We have tried many different curries from here, but all have the same texture and gravy and the flavour and variation of spices you would expect in a good curry. I like a chicken naga, but from here, it is extremely bland and lacking in space and flavour. It's no better (or slightly worse) than a supermarket ding curry. My advice would be to avoid, there is much better available in Worksop.

OMG Never had service and quality food like this. The pickle tray was perfect 6 different portions. Then the curry came my lamb passanda was the best I’ve ever tasted. And very reasonably priced . Can’t wait to go back .

Take out order. Great food and great service. Took a while for the food to be ready but they apologized and chucked in some extra food and drink for the inconvenience.

What an amazing take away we had last night. The food was of a very high quality - several free items included as well. It was reasonably priced and the staff were friendly. I would recommend without reservation.

Went the other day and the staff were outstanding, the food was delicious and what I loved the most was that all the staff were greeting everyone and always smiling, their whole demeanour was refreshing to say the least, can tell they get a lot of recurring customers as they knew a lot of people by their name which speaks volumes to me. Will definitely dine there again in the near future. Thanks again. :)

Not been here for few years and decide to come back. Food was absolutely outstanding and freshly prepared. The chef has brought out the food himself, staff were friendly and easily available. Will definitely be back. Also great prices, highly recommend.

First time i have been..Service is excellent, Atmosphere is excellent. Food is good. I had chicken tika beriarni. Was good, but I have had better else where. However, its a different style of Indian cooking that I'm not use to and prefer where I normally go. Price was reasonable. 6 poperdoms, picked tray, tika kebab, tika beriarni, pillar rice rabbit curry, nan and chapatti 6 sift drink. £68. Parking outside and 1 min walking distance to car park. Only criticism, was need more menu choice, not just the normal standard dishes, as was looking at trying something out of ordinary. I would recommend, If they did a type of buffet menu to try different dishes. Recommended to try rabbit curry

Just come home. The food and service were great. Couldn’t ask for more. Really enjoyed it and so did the kids. They actually finished their plates. Really tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

My friend and I had a lovely meal at Jhinook. The service was great and the food was delicious. They had traditional Indian food as well as their very own creations. For example, my friend had a curry with venison. I would recommend this place for anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine. Thanks for a nice experience Jhinook team!

The service and atmosphere was good but the quality of food was not upto my standard. I suppose it was OK for the general public but for me being Indian me and my family were very disappointed with the taste and quality off food and won't be visiting again. We visited on Good Friday and the restaurant was very busy.

We'd previously had 2 takeaway meals and they were superb. Decided to eat in this time and we were not disappointed. We'd reserved a table and on arrival, we were seated straight away. Menu's for food and drink arrived immediately. We had a chicken chat starter between 2 and a Naga lamb as a main course. The food is excellent along with the service and atmosphere. Fairly busy on our visit. We'll definitely eat in again, and soon.

We went for my partners bday with our 3 year old and really enjoyed it the staff were brilliant and food was really nice. Menu was really good and Great pickle tray. Would deffo return.

Went here for the first time few weeks ago , the restaurant is nice clean and modern inside , staff were nice and helpful , has poppadoms with pickle trays for starters and chicken korma and madras for mains with keema & Pilaf rice which was amazing , also had garlic and coriander & peshwari naan which was beautiful also serves a nice pint of cobra , would recommend and go back 😮‍💨

Went with a party of about 30, we pre booked food, and the service was impeccable! Well cooked food. You cannot fault the quality.

Service was good, friendly. Food was bland, no depth, no flavour. Very disappointed. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Parking- you have to pay. The free on street parking seemed to be taken up with just eat/ deliveroo drivers. Find it strange that they don’t have an agreement that lets you park for free if you eat there.

We went as a party of 14, for a 60th Birthday & they didn’t disappoint!! From the moment time arrived the service was impeccable! The food came out quickly and was really tasty.. the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We would not go anywhere else for a curry. Fantastic evening! Keep up the hard work guys! Worksops hidden Gem.

Nice modern Indian restaurant where the quality of service impresses from the minute you walk in. Staff friendly and efficient. I went on a Tuesday and the restaurant was busy. This is,a,large restaurant with modern decor a,world,away from flock wallpaper, and patterned carpets. Poppadoms came out quickly and although the chutneys are not a,giveaway at £3.50 when you are dining alone there was sufficient for 6 people! With 5 different choices. The Kingfisher draught was well chilled fresh and refreshing. No probs getting me tap water for follow on. Main was lamb curry,sag aloo and plain rice. Curry very tasty if a little underseasoned. The star was the,sag aloo which was delicious and topped with fresh coriander. All served piping hot

I didn't like the food at all, but not because it wasn't good - it just wasn't my taste. The service was very good and the atmosphere was also ok.

My Wife and I are avid Jinhook fans but the takeaway we had on Saturday night was definitely not up to the usual standards Onion Bhajis were dry and tasteless, the 2 curries were bland and lacked any depth of flavour Not sure if a different chef or no effort put into the sauces Hopefully this is a one off and things will be as good as usual next time

Disappointed tonight, service was a let down this evening and no acknowledgment from anyone about the poor organisation. Table booked for 8:15 large deposit of £10 per person paid for the 18 guests to book the table and secure it Actually sat at a table at 8:55 Stood in a busy restaurant with nobody giving any information about how long the table would be was a terrible start to the evening. Bar service, to keep the bill easier to divide we bought our own drinks at the bar The young lad at the bar was overwhelmed and inexperienced at best 3 people trying to get tickets for drinks done for tables meant I was stood at the bar and ignored for over well 10 mins while my food was in the table. At no point this evening have we been asked if our food was ok it was just brought out and we were left to it. Not a pleasant experience for a birthday celebration at all. Food was ok I’ve had better in there but it was generally a disappointment.

We are fairly regular visitors to Jinhook, but this visit wasn’t planned and we only dropped in after a local cinema visit without making a booking, expecting to see a fairly quiet restaurant in the gap between Xmas and new year The place was buzzing and very busy, and we did have a little wait for a table, but we were kept informed of expected times and topped up with drinks. The menu here is expansive, with plenty to choose from. We’ve been close to ten times previously and I think I’ve managed to enjoy a different, year delicious dish every time. The staff are excellent here, very attentive despite having to work very hard to keep everyone on a busy restaurant looked after. This is certainly one of the best Indian restaurants in the local area

Decent place for a curry, good quality and service

Never had another curry like it! It'd truely amazing and the best curry for miles! Seriously I don't know why they don't take over close towns used them for years never change and thank you.

Love this place always our go to take away/delivery. Food always piping hot, delicious, fast service. Honestly the best Indian food I've ever had hands down. And the free chips we often get are a bonus.

Was easy to book, took us to our table. Extremely kind. I ordered tandoori chicken for a starter and the chef came out just to tell me that there is a bone in it, as some people don’t like chicken on the bone. I decided to change to the starter chicken tikka and was genuinely the best food I’ve ever had. I live far from here as I’m in the south but I keep craving it and I’m excited to come back soon. Price was reasonable, food was filling. Everything about here is perfect, 5 stars.

Great place but more pricier when you stay in

Food is good when eating in the restaurant, that side of the business is good. Take away / delivery ordering service and punctuality is very poor. Regularly orders arrive to me 120 minutes after ordering despite promise of within 45 via web or phone. This is the last time I’ll order ‘takeaway’ from here.

A pleasurable dining experience from start to finish. There are a few parking places right outside the restaurant and there is also a large carpark at the side which is free to use after 6pm. The poppadoms and pickle tray were delicious and some of the best we've had in a while. The lamb in my Naga main was, melt in the mouth, scrumptious. The only disappointing part of the meal was it wasn't quite as spicy as I'd expect for a Naga dish, but the staff did say they can adjust to suit your taste so I will ask for hotter when I visit again. The nan bread was tasty too, although not as big as at some places, so I'd recommend getting one each rather than sharing. Great venue, great staff and great tasting food, what more could you ask for!

Easy parking next to the restaurant . Pleasant staff, excellent surprising menu. Loved the pickle tray, really different too! Beautiful meat in the curries. All three of us were blown away by the food, my friend's hubby is Indian and she never likes restaurant food, but she practically licked her plate and says her husband will Luv it too! Really inexpensive also!! Top notch.

We booked a last-minute table for three. The staff really made our experience here a 5 star visit. The food was delicious and very well presented. The atmosphere was nice and lovely, modern, mellow lighting, but the thing we noticed the most was the friendly and polite staff and the exceptionally fast service . The only downside to this is that there isn't a dedicated car park, but there is a pay and display car park a few feet away from the premises which we used. Would definitely recommend

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal but had booked a table for 4 at 8pm when we arrived we were told they were getting our table ready for us. Another party of 4 arrived after us who I heard said had booked for 8.15 they were taken to their seats while we were still waiting which we did mention and just got the response we are getting your table ready. Very bizarre that we were seated after the same size party although we had booked a table booked at am early time to them. We actually got to our table at 8.15 whereas they were seated earlier than their booking.
