I live alone & have throat cancer so not only do I have to pay £3 delivery charges inwhich I'm only 1.5 miles away but have to spend other £15 as well, think this is extreme racism as they should be no fixed limit

The food is great, we’ve tried several other Indian takeaways in the area and this the best. Whenever we’ve phoned, whoever answers the phone is always friendly and helpful. We think it’s reasonably priced as well. A Big Thumbs Up

I went for a meal with my mate after a long day at work. As always it did not disappoint, quick service, brillaint food, definitely the beat India in Retford.

Might I suggest to you EVEREST that you write the name of the meal on the container

was lovely just the onion b used to be bigger and there was only a bit off salad

We have been going to Everest for years, service has always been brilliant, Raj, Faz and the team are so welcoming and attentive. Food is lovely and they will always accommodate to a specific pallette too. They are very popular on Just Eat and its a lovely atmosphere when busy inside. The longest serving indian restaurant in Retford 5 🌟

Best place ever, if you want a perfect meal, great atmosphere and genuine amazing family service at a good price then you need to go to this place. Very welcoming, these guys have got it spot on. I will never use any other place again.

Oily, watery, tasteless curry. Mushy, frozen prawns. Dips were watery and even the mango chutney was liquid. Not good at all and ruined a family night.

Food Luke warm,sauce very watery.pickle tray had 2 yoghurt and mint which was watery.left feeling nauseous after eating just a small amount. Real disappointing as was looking forward to it. I won’t be getting from them again!

cold food,everything was,told by delivery driver i was last delivery on route and had more than what he expected before me(probably why it was cold)

Avoid at all costs, bland watery curry with no flavour but sadly that's not the worst thing. We placed a full vegetarian order only to find that instead of the Quorn Bhuna that we ordered they gave us a Chicken Bhuna. They think that its OK to give a vegetarian the chicken as it was "probably misread' so that makes it OK then? They offered me to come and collect a quorn one but wouldn't waste my time or fuel. Hardly apologetic and not really interested in my complaint. Will never use this place again.

never again , l ordered chicken madras it was like soup with chicken in it, no flavor just watery with chilly powder in,very poor , my husband had buna he said it didn,t taste of anything , the starter was ok but thats all, eatable, i would of taken it back but wasen,t going to waist my fuel.i wish i had read the reviews now and gone elsewhere,lets hope im not ill in the morning.

Food was Luke warm when received and we were missing a curry. When the restaurant was contacted, the person was rude and used terminology to imply we were lying and insisted any replacements had to be collected from the restaurant. Check the bag contents before the delivery driver leaves.

The food is excellent and the staff are amazing. I've had instances where they have struggled a bit on takeaway delivery when they are too busy but the staff do make you feel genuinely welcome. Dining in is great - currently 2 for 1 on a Monday (though be mindful it's cash only and the nearest cash machine is the Santander a couple of minutes walk away in Market Square) and takeaway is good with online ordering and an app available. Great place to eat.

Not sure if it’s the Uber Eats app that is at fault, but it says 10-20 minutes delivery time. It actually took about 40-50 minutes. I have eaten in this restaurant many times before and the food is excellent. In comparison, the takeaway was average at best. I had chicken tikka bhuna. This normally is quite spicy, garlicky & plenty of onions. My takeaway was quite bland, the chicken was overcooked & the sauce was watery. We also had chicken dopiaza & my son left at least half of it. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, as the saying goes. Very disappointing compared to the restaurant food.

ive been here for the last 5 weeks and been informed im moving digs to Lincoln , I really enjoyed the food and the staff are great, im going to miss my once a week treat, I like what I like and ive eaten Indian food all over the world

The order was within the time frame advised and the food was very tasty, but the temperature of the food was not as hot as normal on arrival and the popadoms were not as great as normal.

The chicken Korma was of poor quality, the chicken was tough like it had been cooked twice and the sauce was to thin very watery, I won’t be ordering again from here is there any way of getting any money back please?

Missing items and quality not good

Ordered a takeaway, delivered quickly but was the worst flavour I've ever experienced. The Malayan had no flavour whatsoever, the Balti was okay but nowhere near normal standards, and the onion bhajis were very dry. Sadly disappointed.

We had a variety of food from the menu. We didn't have any issues with the quality or taste of the food. We will definitely return and recommend it wholeheartedly. The atmosphere was scored down due to the restaurant only having one other table in. It was mid week and early doors. Thank you 😊

We had a delivery after looking at reviews. We spent £45 on a family meal but only half of it was eaten. When the currys were dished up, loads of oil separated and spread to the edge of the plate. No tubs were marked so we had to work out what was what as it all very much looked the same. Shame but will not be a returning customer.

Do not order from here. Chicken korma is like a mouthful of water, the chicken in the korma felt like you’re biting into a load of fat, the chicken tikka masala is hotter than a vindaloo delivered the wrong dishes too. Was really looking forward to it, definitely will not be eating from here again.

Just picked up a couple of Tandoori Takeaway's. Got to say these were the best I've had in a very long time. The quality was superb and generous portions too. Great attitude and service. Thanks.

I’d recommend but they forgot our chicken pakoras and the pickle tray came in plastic bags so was impossible to dip. We put them on plates but it was super messy!

Ordered food to be delivered from here last night. Absolutely terrible. Tasted of nothing at all, and the curry was very watery. I don't often put comments about food, but this was so bad. We ordered for 9 people and was very disappointed. Only good thing, was it arrived quickly. Definitely wouldn't order again and can't see how the high reviews are justified.

Absolutely wonderful tasting hot food!! Nice crispy poppadoms, full pickle trays, will be ordering again real soon!

O.M G. have been going to this Indian restaurant for over 15 years, Tonight we had a delivery which took 90 mins. when it arrived curry cold chips soggy and cold, rice warm and poppadom soaked through. Phoned them to get an angry reply that there very busy and next time will give some discount. Not acceptable I asked for full refund and they could come and collect full meal ...but refused. I will never use them again £17 down and all in the bin. Manager shouting and very aggressive telling me go and complain go to the papers ( which I never mentioned) do what you like I don't care. Very sad.

Lovely food with friendly staff, who will create a dish if you describe what you fancy. Good value. We have been 3 times this month and love it.

The chicken in the korma was blocky and tough. Not sure why a salad bag was included but it was past it’s best anyway.

Been here a few times and never had any problems, nice food. Ordered some food this evening for delivery at 8.20pm this evening. It was delivered at 7.20 and therefore was cold when we arrived home. I rang to complain and was told we could have a 50% discount on the next order. Upon questioning the cold food that was delivered I was informed they "don't do refunds" and that "its busy, you'll have to order again". Nothing was done to resolve the problem, I understand it can be busy on a Friday evening but businesses still should conform to consumer rights.

Delivery was late. Out of 3 meals two were good but the third not so good, chicken very chewy and I had to leave some of it. Never had a problem before with this restaurant

Ordered from here for a delivery via just eat. Food took 45 mins to be delivered. Once opened I have never seen such greasy rice. It was litterly sat in liquid at the bottom. The oinion Baji was extremely soft and mushy. The korma was extremely greasy and watery. Cheese and garlic naan was tough. Samsosa was soggy. I will never order from this company again. Worst Indian meal I have ever tasted. Would rather have saved £29 and bought a cook at home kit from Morrisons. Would have tasted better and less grease.

Very very rude! Normally have a take away as it’s so much better than eating in, but tonight, 5th June was a totally disgusting experience. We ordered a family take away and waited an hour and half for it which wasn’t an issue but when it arrived, we were missing a main dish which meant someone didn’t have their meal. I called straight away to ask for the meal to either come out or to get a refund on nearly a £10 dish. I was told it wasn’t their fault as it’s the agent we ordered from, but we ordered direct from their website including a confirmation text direct from them. I asked how long it would take for a replacement as we were ready to eat. I was told I could collect in 10 minutes, the whole point of ordering a take away delivery is because I couldn’t drive so was told they couldn’t give me a time. Asked for a refund instead, told I had to go through who I paid though, which was their website. When I explained I couldn’t as it was their website the man on the phone was very rude and told me he didn’t have time for me so put the phone down. An hour and a half later, the one dish turned up but as we had already eaten, it was sent away. Never again will I order from them

Over the last year, I’ve eaten here several times; including taking clients and team members. Yesterday evening, I was the only customer in Everest. My bill came to £13.90, I asked to pay by credit card, the waiter said minimum spend £15.00 if paying by card. I agreed to pay £15.00 but then didn’t leave a tip. Bearing in mind a couple of weeks ago I picked up a bill for £400, I truly felt insulted with the request for £15.00 minimum. For £1.10…they have lost my custom forever!

Food was, as Indian is, delicious ! Always enjoyed the food there, known these guys for years! Next time I will have that photo!
