Absolutly terrible food - I had a burger and chips, the chips were dry and tasted old & the burger was like a bit of leather. How on earth you get a burger to become that texture I don't know. Definitely will not be going back! I personally wouldn't bother if i was you .....

Town St, South Leverton, Retford DN22 0BT, United KingdomProper village pub, small enough to care yet big enough to cope. The bitter was stunning, the real log fire an attraction (despite it being unseasonably warm) but the big winner here is the pizzas - delivered from a van in the car park. It's small but worth seeking out. Please note: cash only!!

The CrossThank goodness! Our favourite pub is back! Absolutely lovely new manager Ieuan, very very attentive to the customers what we would like to see, great selection of ales on! Was a rocky start for the new owners as seem to be swapping managers every few days but this one! He's a keeper! Even my 8yr old likes him and he is a fussy one!
