The Plough Inn in Bassetlaw

Proper village pub, small enough to care yet big enough to cope. The bitter was stunning, the real log fire an attraction (despite it being unseasonably warm) but the big winner here is the pizzas - delivered from a van in the car park. It's small but worth seeking out. Please note: cash only!!

A pub that sells decent crisps finally! Great little pub in the heart of the village where the locals are welcoming and the landlord & landlady are nice people too.

Only went in to get a drink and it was cash only so walked out again ,I don't have a problem with that I just didn't have any cash on me ,mind your head the ceiling is rather low

It is a bikers meet twice a month, unfortunately it was spoiled on this visit by heavy rain. No fault of the Plough Inn.

Beautiful village pub with cask ales as well as main🍻. Lovely landlord and landlady that always make you welcome. Open 🔥 in the winter, you must try, safe journey home.

Small traditional pub, lots of character and great outside space. Also roaring fires in the winter. Small beer selection but most bases covered.

Had a great night on Saturday 13th. Steve and Julie to celebrate their anniversary and Steve’s birthday paid for a superb hog roast and live music. The staff were great and worked hard to cope with the over 100 customers.

What a lovely historic pub we asked at a local garden centre and was advised to try it.we enjoyed it's querky age but be aware it has steps and it a traditional British pub that does not serve food.
