First visit didnât disappoint , food delicious , hot and beautifully cooked . Served well and each course just looked appetizing and up to expectations not one bad thing to say . The host was friendly and accommodating we misread the menu and when the food arrived it had mushrooms which my wife doesnât like and with no bother or fuss the host immediately offered to make another one that doesnât happen very often especially as it was our fault. The portions are just right try the patasas bravas amazing. Also the ice cream and panacota were delicious.
We visited today. We usually use Mad Hatters Tea Room but it was full.
So we headed across the road to Lillies Lavander Hat and we were super surprised at how great the little place is!
The breakfast is epic! The food is very good quality- the sausage in particular was very, very good quality and tasted so good!! Often cafes scrimp on sausage and bacon but that is not the case here!
They also do a proper flat white which is great because often I have an issue finding smaller places that actually do proper flat whites so this is another win for this little place!
So, if you want a great breakfast and a proper flat white. Make sure you visit this place!!
Donât be a sheep and just go to the other place across the road! Letâs support our other small businesses! If you donât use them, youâll lose them!
Really excellent. Called in while passing to use the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. The staff were warm and friendly and the food delicious. Iâll be back!
Proper coffee, 5 minutes walk from St Pancras, wipes the floor with anything you can get in the station. I think they were using Assembly beans when I went in, lovely stuff.

We are a group three couples who stumbled across this lovely cafe whilst walking the Hartwith Round. The coffee and all the cakes were absolutely delicious served by a very welcoming and friendly face. It is in an idyllic location and I would do the walk again just to enjoy this little cafe. A little gem of a place which puts some warmth into your heart.
