The quality of food is restaurant standard - despite being about 3 miles away it was piping hot. Really good value for money

We were staying in the nearby Premier Inn as we had a training course to attend. We had a disappointing meal at the hotel, so decided to search for an alternative. A quick TripAdvisor search gave us a few options. We read the reviews and decided to visit the Eastern Peal. A busy local take away, and that's usually a reassuring sign. A warm welcome and our order was taken without fuss, and within a short time it was ready. Granted our order was simply Special Fried rice with a few side dishes, but we were on way back to the hotel with 10 minutes. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Much better than the hotel restaurant and considerably cheaper. Happy to visit again on our net next trip to Warrington.

This is my local chinese/fish and chip shop. The food is always good and I have never had a bad meal from there. The prices are very good too and all the family who work there are all very pleasant.

Fabulous Birthday celebration meal at the Choy Hing village last night. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the staff were extremely polite and efficient as always. We had a lovely time even though the restaurant was busy with other celebrations going on and other diners the service we received was fantastic! Everything was just perfect. The staff brought out the Birthday Cake we took with us and served all our guests with a piece of cake which was very kind of them. Thankyou to the whole team at the Choy Hing Village for making our night very special. We will definitely be returning soon.

Mr Lau's was recommended by so many of our friends so had to try it. I Pre-booked our table on the website. We were allocated a table next to the bar, nice area. The only banquet on offer was the Early Bird one at £28.95 plus an extra £5 per person to add crispy duck. Chicken sweetcorn soup with prawn crackers was lovely. Then the next course was simply one item each - either prawn toast OR chicken skewers OR ribs. The banquets we have ordered elsewhere have a selection of dim sum starters. not just one. The prawn toast was home made and delicious. The main course was also very tasty - I asked to change the sweet and sour chicken for chicken and mushrooms and the waiter's response was "no". Luckily our waiter changed as we made our way through the courses, Im glad because he was so miserable. The bar only stocks bottled beer and while my husband enjoyed his Asahi it was very expensive at £6.50 per bottle!! The bar staff were very friendly and helpful. We have tried it now but wont go back.
