Cafe 81 in East Hampshire

Great little place, Brilliant Bacon & egg muffin, proper butcher style bacon 🥓 nice touch with the cheeky hash brown 👌 on the side. Definitely will be returning.

a very nice cafe with good food. A bit tucked away, as part of alts on the Petersfield trading estate. only had a tuna sandwich, but delicious fresh granary bread and lots of filling. definitely use again

Situated within the Bedford Road Industrial Estate within Altis Industries Ltd. I have been to Cafe81 many times but unbeknown to me didn’t realise they are on trip-advisor. Today I had a pepperoni pizza and it was lovely, reasonably priced with a hot chocolate, you can either eat in or takeaway and the staff are always friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Saw this cafe months ago when in the area and today we visited for breakfast .. well I wish I’d gone sooner!! The food was excellent, not cheap bacon or sausages and the service was awesome . Nothing was too much trouble and the menu for such a small place is really big with loads of choices. We had 2 full English with pot of tea for two for £17, we had a lovely chat with the guy on duty and he said their supplier was Owtons and the quality really showed in the breakfast. There’s loads of free parking being in the trading estate just next door to Altis Tool hire and they offer eat it or takeaway. Keep up the great work we will be back as there’s a huge menu to work through !!

I also visit Cafe 81 when I get my car serviced next door. They have a new team running it, and the food is great, the service super friendly and nothing's too much trouble. Really reasonable prices too. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Unless you know about this cafe you are unlikely to find it. It is 'buried' in the middle of the Petersfield Bedford Road industrial area and is part of the Altis Tools and Hardware shop next door. We only knew of it as we have bought a lot of paint and hardware from Altis since moving to Petersfield last year. There is nothing pretentious about this cafe; just a good honest cafe experience. Wide range of sandwiches, paninis, baguettes and jacket potatoes at reasonable prices, typically £3 to £5. Burgers at £6.95 with a variety of extras available. Excellent breakfasts, mini (£5.50), full (£6.95) and a signature dish "Belly Buster" (£8.50) comprising three of everything - sausages, bacon, eggs, hash browns and more!!! Phew! More than I can handle. All freshly cooked to order. Service is prompt and friendly. Everyone is trying really hard to make this business a success and it really shows. Decor is typical cafe. A good selection of teas, coffees, cold drinks and snacks all at value prices. They have a 5 star Food Standards Agency Hygiene rating, the top mark, and are rightly proud of this (Review November 2018). This rating is very important to us as customers. If you spend more than £20 at Altis then you get a free bacon sandwich - ours today on fresh granary bread was excellent. They do corporate buffets and lunches. No website yet but there is a Facebook page. We eat out quite a lot and there are many restaurants in Petersfield and wider afield that could learn a valuable lesson about customer service standards, value for money and Hygiene Ratings from Cafe 81.
