Jam Records in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Coolest record shop I’ve been to. Got a brand-new record, tote bag and two drinks for £30. Lovely area to sit and have a coffee. Very cool aesthetics.

I've been to this shop quite a few times over the years and I must say that if your musical tastes run from King Crimson to Leonard Cohen then you're probably in the right place. They have everything here, folk, blues, jazz, soul and mainstream. Lat year I bought a CD that I'd had trouble sourcing in Manchester - enough said! Give it a whirl and add to your collection - you'll find it hard not to!

Not sure why this is listed as a restaurant but, as a record shop, it is phenomenal. Enjoy a coffee or cold drink surrounded by a truly eclectic selection of (largely indie?) 'modern' music. We always visit Jam on our trips to Falmouth, and a trip to Falmouth would not be complete without out it. I've made some great discoveries there. Something about the place makes me want to buy music that I would not normally seek out, and that can only be good. How good must a shop(/café) be to encourage such exploration and 'risk taking', how good must it be to entice a confirmed stick-in-the-mud to try something new? Jam is a delight, whether you are shopping for new sounds or just dropping in for a coffee and a chat. Hidden treasure.

Come here for great coffee or a cup of tea, relax on old sofas in a cozy and delightfully shabby room whilst selecting a vinyl or CD from the eclectic range.

My favourite coffee shop in Falmouth, lovely comfy leather sofa's, superb coffee's and tea's with various Italian biscuits chocolate and cakes on offer too. A very friendly owner, and staff, great service, and dog friendly too, well it would be as it has a resident dog too, Bob is so friendly, always greets with a wagging tail. This establishment is also a very good music store, selling both vinyl and cd's, with a vast vinyl section down stairs, which has more comfortable seating. Owner always has some good chilling music playing too, but be warned you just may end up buying what is being played, I know I have LOL
