Allthough no longer trading from premises but from a stall on Retford market. Jeanilious still serves a tasty combination of pies, cakes etc. A must for those of you with a sweet tooth. Well worth a visit.

Popped in to the larder and decided on a brie and bacon tart, and a fat free quiche. Both very good... But the tart was superb, will be getting another in future, well done to Jo, to say how she started its brilliant to see how the business is now just from a little stall, known her for a few years now, and her food is always excellent and tasty. Scotch eggs (black pudding) are the best scotch eggs EVER. And the sausage rolls need to be mentioned too... Yum yum!!

This shop has just opened and is brilliant. They do great lunches that are quick and the cakes are perfect! The staff are friendly and explain the items on the menu in detail and are clearly proud of the business. Very refreshing! Give them a try if you're in the area.

Went here for lunch with a friend. We hadn’t booked but with a wait we could be accommodated. I’ll book next time. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. They were disinfecting tables and chairs when customers left and tables were well distanced. The menu was full of interesting dishes so was spoiled for choice. I can recommend the cauliflower and onion bajhi salad. It’s classed as a light bite but it was very filling. Had already ordered carrot cake but managed to squeeze it in. It was a proper sized piece of cake too! The food was delicious and fresh. Would highly recommend it and will be back myself.

A hidden gem inside the old library. This cafe is full of interesting decor as its preserved art deco interior retains its historic heritage. The staff/ volunteers are delightful and the food is home made and fresh. Lots of lovely cakes on display to tempt people. Highly recommend a visit and a look around the heritage museum on the way out.
