I had a fantastic experience at The Leaky Teacup! This welcoming spot is a treasure trove of card and board games, perfect for a cozy afternoon. The atmosphere feels very homely, and the owner, he’s incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and genuinely cares for his customers. He took time to chat with me and my partner, showing us around the venue since we were from out of town. I also enjoyed their magic single stock and I absolutely loved the gluten-free chocolate cheesecake—truly delicious! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great time with friends or family.

Incredible atmosphere, quality food! AJ is probably the best owner of a business I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.

I have been going here regularly for a few years now. The food here is fantastic. I usually have the hunters chicken paninis or the pizza. Then, I follow up with a piece of cheesecake. The cheesecake is what the shop is known for, and they usually experiment with different flavours. The best one I've had has to have been the cinnamon biscuit one. The atmosphere and service are great. While AJ can sometimes get run ragged with the shop being only a 1 or 2 man show usually, he always keeps in good spirits and tries to talk to who he can. The other regulars are also what makes this place special. Making friends whilst playing board games, card games, or just chatting to them on some of the quieter days. I just wish they'd get a new waffle maker for breakfasts

Found this place pre covid but as we live 30miles away hadn’t got round to coming back. Saw they did a full English breakfast on Sundays, so we went. Amazing! I’m the coeliac but my husband loved it as much as me. Great value. Only complaint from my husband is that you need a bigger plate for the large!! Have been twice and will be back again & again & again!!!! Very friendly place too. 😁

What a lovely place! They have a great selection of games to play, and they have a very strict gluten free kitchen so celiacs can dine with peace of mind. I can't recommend this place enough

Had been meaning to visit for a while and finally got around to it today. What a great place run by some lovely people. Wish I had popped in sooner! It's always reassuring when you go somewhere that not only provides gluten free food but knows the challenges of eating out when gluten free. We had the nachos and mozzarella sticks which were delicious. And took away some equally tasty sweet treats.

As someone who usually does not eat gluten free food, the food here is absolutely fantastic. Nice selection of pizzas, nachos, chicken and a breakfast on Sundays that is to die for. Great affordable food, great atmosphere and Aaron and co are great! Oh! And as someone who does not have a massive sweet tooth, the cakes are so delicious! I come here as often as I can. Great place to be! :)

For all lovers of TTRPG's, you'll love this place! The room for hire "The Brazen Bull" is fantastic, very well decorated and very well kitted out for all your adventures. With packages available, to aid and supply adventurers and DMs alike. Will definitely be returning to explore the forgotten realm and guide my fellow adventurers too. Both Aaron and Josh are very accommodating being the heart of soul of Retford gaming community.

Nipped in here after noticing the sign on a walk through town. WOW! What an absolute gem, we came away with a selection box of gluten free goodies and a hot, gluten free, sweet chilli sausage roll (which was absolutely amazing). The owner was super friendly and accommodating, he gave us a rundown of what they had, told us about their huge amount of tea flavours, hot chocolates and cakes (The cheesecake mugs also sounded mega). Sounds like once this place is back open after covid restrictions are open that they'll be doing a few themed nights: quizzes, boardgames, moots, which all sounded fun and interesting. Definitely recommend giving this place a visit during lockdown restrictions for some cake or coffee (even if you're not gluten free, the sausage rolls taste just as good, if not better, than other local places that have been around for years). Sounds like it's going to be even better post lockdown and will definitely be worth a try then!

A lovely roast in warm and very friendly pub. The food was cooked to perfection; beautifully rare roast beef, goose-fat roasted potatoes, great Yorkshire pudding and gravy tailored to each choice of meats. There was attention to detail on every element on the plate. So refreshing to see a pub take such pride in its quality and turn out faultless and delicious food. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you and thanks for making a fuss of Leo, my Labrador. He loved it as much as I did!

One of the best pizza I’ve had in a very long time! Arrived so quickly, tasted incredible and the veggies were still crunchy! We ordered the Nutella and marshmallow pizza too and oh my it was amazing!! We’ll defiantly order again! This was our first time!

What a find!! Tucked away from the main centre of town but well worth a short walk to this quaint tea room. Lovely food and more... Go and find it and see for yourself 😁

Roast potatoes were very disappointing, some were fresh and some were old so a couple crispy but most were warmed back up so rock hard skin and soft brown potato inside. The meal deal comes with a soft drink not a beer & you can't pay extra to swap either. I personally don't think it's value for money @ £15 for the average meal. I've tried it twice now but won't rush back.

Beautiful location, cosy homely feel, delicious cooked breakfast served by friendly staff. Lots of parking and hard standing area for motorbikes. I noticed they have a farm shop so I'll be back again for more food and a wander round the shop!
