Beautifully set out, clean and very friendly. Amazing cakes.

Had to wait about half hour for food and and a couple was before they ate and left before us getting ours

Brilliant cafe quality of the food is excellent and well priced very good value for money. Staff always make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble

If you're gluten or dairy free, it's 'worth a visit the food is lovely and a good prices

Quality of food was not as good as previous visits. Cakes did not seem fresh. Smaller portions and higher prices mean it is no longer value for the money.

Lovely staff but unorganised causing problems with orders chocolate drinks were not hot and food took over 25 minutes to arrive .

Fabulous place, always inviting, and so accommodating for food requirements! We had a coeliac and a vegan in our group and both are confident eating here knowing there is no cross contamination and lots of gluten free or meat free options for them. Extra bonus - the cakes! I can't visit Carlton House without popping in for cake-away

Lovely little gem of a place. Great food, tea and service. However, a year later we went again and my wife noticed that the humus and salad tasted a bit on the turn. Unfortunately as she did eat it, she then ended up with a stomach upset there after.

I originally called in to pick up a gift voucher for a wedding present, will be taking a friend for a Birthday treat as the Afternoon tea looks amazing. Took some friends for breakfast, great value and quality. So friendly, would highly recommend this little gem, so glad I found it. The craft centre next door is like Aladins cave, lots of quirky gifts 🎁 perfect with Christmas coming up.

A real hidden gem. We walked a mile from the hospital to get here and so glad we did. The menu is wide-ranging, brilliant for vegans and vegetarians. We had a vegan bacon sandwich and the bacon was cooked to perfection - a bit crispy. The jam and scone with cream was just delicious. They do various teas and cream teas, including a savoury vegan option and a Harry Potter afternoon tea (book in advance). It's perfect.

Lovely little place, nice catch up with family. The cakes are amazing. We now go every month. It can be a little cold sometimes, but it is still worth a visit.

Best cafe in Worksop. Very friendly staff. Fresh tasting food. Homemade soup lovely, great choice of sandwiches with fresh salad. Lovely home-made cakes as well. My only minor negative is it's a shame they don't have Roddas clotted cream to go with their lovely scones rather than a standard not that nice cream and not keen on the table cloths that sometimes feel like they need a clean. These are minor issues to be honest as this really is a nice place.

Birthday lunch with 5 friends, wonderful. Delicious food and cakes to die for. Never been before but will certainly be going back.

This place is much loved by myself and my family. Michelle and her team cater for all dietary requirements - vegan, veggie, GF, omni. Lots of choice for everyone. The food is all homemade and delicious, and the service is excellent. I also love that the tearooms are dog friendly!

Fantastic for all day breakfasts, the vegan/veggie options are amazing too. If you like cakes different from the same old flavours, their cakes are also very tasty with vegan options available again too. Very pleased with the choice, quality and value. Will be back again soon!

Home made food & it's all good. A nice cup of tea too. There was a free gig in the garden outside when we went, which was nice. We also had a browse around the interesting gift shop. Call in on your way to MC Donald and give real food a try. 🤔😁

Michelle made a takeaway afternoon tea for our wedding anniversary. What fantastic value for money it was! All the food was absolutely delicious. There was even proper clotted cream in the scones! No hesitation in recommending this establishment. We will definitely visiting to try the food in the cafe very soon. An absolute credit to Worksop!!!

I would just like to thank the chocolate orange tearooms for a superb afternoon tea delivered to our house on Saturday Afternoon it was fantastic from ordering it to it being delivered to the door.The food was so fresh and all home-made thank you to all of you at the chocolate orange tearooms most definitely five star service.

Lovely café set in a vintage and craft centre. Lots of home-made vegan and gluten free options every day. Oat and soy milk available at no extra cost.

First class service and food.. Def worth a visit...Shame were too full to sample the delicious homemade cakes..

My favourite haunt for breakfast when I am in Worksop locuming at the hospital and need to recover after the night shift.. The service, quality of food and the taste are excellent and they always welcome you back. The place is just lovely.

I visited here today with my mum and my sister for afternoon tea as a treat for our mum. Firstly, it’s in a beautiful building filled with floors of lovely things to buy - from sweets to furniture bits. The place is genuinely somewhere that I’d have never known existed had I not have stumbled upon it online by accident. Given the fact that the Tearooms only had 1* on google and only 2 reviews, 1 of which was a 1, I was a bit apprehensive about going! HOWEVER! I can absolutely highly recommend it. It’s probably the best afternoon tea I’ve ever had - everything was incredibly fresh, the bread was SO soft and the scones were to die for! (This place also does plain scones for those who don’t like fruit - which I found very little places do!)My only very small buts are probably more opinion than critique... But, the afternoon tea although very lovely, could have been presented a little better. Normally, when I’ve been before they have come with crisps or fruit on the side of the stand with the sandwiches to make things look a bit... prettier I guess. And the other thing, although not meant to sound like a negative at all, is the fact that I felt as a Tearooms where it is, it could be so much more if it was given a bit of a freshen up. I don’t know if this was just a bit of a quiet Saturday lunch time but I felt a little bit sad that there weren’t more people in because it is such a lovely find!If you love something a little different, pay it a visit - we will definitely be going back

Lovely tea room in Carlton house, as you walk upstairs through an Aladdin's cave of items you buy, you get to the team room, proper cups and saucers, lovely food cooked fresh and cake. Really good list of veggie and vegan options and there is usually vegan cake on offer too, so great for lunch with friends with options for everyone

Situated in a lovely building with trinkets to look at. Fantastic menu especially for a number of dietary requirements; especially vegan and dairy. Much more to this place than a cafe: themed events such as mothers day and food nights.

We visited here yesterday. We decided to have a drink first before deciding what to have to eat and I'm glad we did. We ordered a sparkling water with no ice and a banana milkshake with ice cream. The server asked what flavour ice cream I wanted so I said I didn't realise I had a choice, what is the choice? I got a blank look for a second or so before she said vanilla, strawberry or chocolate. As it was a banana milkshake, obviously I chose vanilla. We waited ages before we heard the milkshake being done with what sounded like a lot of ice which would just be plain wrong if it's made with milk and ice cream. It tasted extremely watered down and had hardly any flavour of the banana syrup. We questioned whether there was any ice cream in it - it certainly didn't have the taste or texture of ice cream - and she was adamant it did. It's got to be easily the worst milkshake we've ever had. The water came with ice. We didn't eat there.

Great Vegan options! Food is great and well priced. They also have alternative milks and a good coffee machine. I took away some vegan scones for later on too.

A very nice cafe incorporated within a arts and craft compendium, set on the floor above the shop entrance the cafe offers a range of food, snacks and cakes Relevant to myself are its Vegan selections which cover all food requirements for a relatively small cafe, do ask as not all items indicate they are vegan. Lovely place and excellent staff.
