When trying a new Chinese restaurant, my go-to to get the vibe of the place is sweet and sour chicken balls, prawn toast and special chow mein. This was my first time and it genuinely is my ‘New Wonder’. All the food was great (chicken balls could have done with a bit more chicken:batter ratio but I cannot complain for the price). The prawn toast was absolutely the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant (we’re talking STUFFED with prawn) and the chow mein was just a really solid dish with a good amount of meat and prawns.
Staggered by the price. I’m used to Chinese shops where a special chow mein can cost 9 quid, and all of this food came to 15. And they threw in free prawn crackers (I know this is quite standard, but it surprised me at this price point). In times where many Chinese takeaways are mostly unsatisfying, it was refreshing to find somewhere so solid for so little money.
Cannot recommend enough.
Visited the bar in Chichester at the Ghost at the Feast. The Aperol and Limoncello spritz both tasted of sea water and where totally undrinkable. When brought to the attention of the staff they replied that's the recipe and refused to remake the drinks.
Amazing food & service.
Tonight was our third visit & every time we go we try something different. Each dish tastes incredible. Freshly cooked to order & they always put the leftovers in a tub for hubs lunch the next day.
Thursday & Sundays ‘special’ menu has lots of choices on, so will suit everyone.
Staff always give a warm, friendly & welcoming feeling.
Definitely recommend!
Incredible Ramen! Blown away to find this here. So fresh and authentic. The dining room is also amazing and Georgian. Will be back to try the rest of the menu

Food is good, portions are very small compared to other restaurants in the area. The guys are nice but the girl is a bit rude. They also add service charge without even asking you. Should be optional!

Always Great to return to the Pub, moved away some time ago however on visits back to Harlow, we will always spend an evening here. Real Pub with proper people. Be aware though Bills “Dad” jokes are from Christmas crackers 😂
Toasted cheese sandwich was sadly lacking. Two thin slices of toast and a small amount of cheese. Americano and flat white coffee lacked coffee. Toilets were unclean. Won’t be visiting again.
My boyfriend's birthday was several days ago. I wanted to get him a cake that would be tasty, beautiful and would not bankrupt me. Lola's birthday cake met all these criteria and my boyfriend was truly pleased with his Chocolate & Raspberry cake. Moreover, staff was super nice, friendly and provided me guidance while choosing the best cake. I will certainly visit Lola's Cupcakes again!
My then girlfriend and I first ate at Chada when we were students in 1986. We didn't have much money, so we would share a starter and sometimes a main, and restrict ourselves to one beer each. Even so, the owners were unfailingly kind and welcoming, and the food was always fantastic. Fast forward to 2002 and as a now married couple, we revisited Chada to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. It had been a few years, but the restaurant was as good as ever. Shortly after we moved to Wales, but in November 2022 we visited once again to celebrate my sister in law's 70th. Every dish was absolutely delicious and the owners were so gracious. With our grown up son now living in London, we hope to resume visiting Chada on a regular basis.
