First visit to this restaurant excellent atmosphere great food and really lovely staff we were a group of eight some had pasta some had fish all excellent

The best falafel!! I’ve had many falafel wraps from different places and this is possibly the best. I always visit here when I’m in Brighton, the staff are so friendly and the food is incredible. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed for two nights at the New Inn as friends are moving into the area. The pub was very pleasant with an open fire and separate eating area that was warm and inviting, as was the landlady Andrea who really couldn't do enough for us and said, on more than one occasion, that nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation was superb. A large comfortable bed. A warm, quiet room and drinking water and biscuits were available along with the usual tea and coffee in our room. The breakfasts were delicious. Plate wasn't overloaded but every ingredient was well sourced and cooked to perfection. Cereals, juices, tea and proper coffee available too, along with a loaf of toast. Ha! Ha! We stayed for an evening meal on the Friday night with our friends. The food was VERY good and much of it was home cooked where possible. Home made pie and the home made chips were cooked to perfection. So Andrea thank you so much for your warm welcome and hospitality and we look forward to seeing you again whenever we visit. Best regards A&P

Great selection of beer which is constantly changing, lots of games to play and really friendly staff. A brilliant place

Stumbled across this place last night. My wife wanted to go in and to be honest, I thought it looked a bit pretentious. How wrong I was. He had a genuinely lovely evening - the wine was fab and the staff were genuinely great - hugely knowledgeable and very down to earth. We will 100% be back.

Nice homely cosy little old school boozer. Great choice of ales, lovely pleasant staff and a bostin real fire going. Came from Brum today for my first ever visit, but it certainly won't be my last. Get on the Bathams.👌

Excellent local pub,friendly staff great atmosphere, outside area great interior proper pub,warm and welcoming, if in the area call in.

We have been here 3 times and the food has always been excellent.

I believe this cafe is now closed permanently real shame as the food was great and good price easy to get to off the A30 if anyone can reccomend another off A30 would be grateful
