The best restaurants in England

Lovely place. Definitely coming back tomorrow for more food, quiz, bingo and DJ. Keep an eye out for the frog in their indoor pond. Nice size family indoor pool that you can privately book.

Food was brilliant, traditional Korean. Service was slow. But given our big group they did well. Unfortunately, the restaurant is small so only good for small groups of people.

It didn't give me an option to put 0, Staff was rude saw us standing waiting didn't acknowledge us, waited and waited she went cleared tables still leaving us standing waiting to be served, then came back behind the bar serving others so we walked out, will not ever be returning anytime soon.

Oh dear, was expecting better to be honest. The cafe was not busy with about a quarter of the tables filled, no 2 seat tables available. Im not one for moaning about venues if they are clearly under pressure but this day was quiet. The tables where dirty and nobody came round to wipe them so i did it myself with napkins and hand gel. All the tables where dirty and had crumbs on them? I had a very good brew with some quality teabag, no complaints. We ordered 2 English breakfasts and they arrived in due course. I was disappointed in the burnt mushrooms, burnt toast and burnt black pudding. The fried egg was cooked in the same burnt pan so tasted of the previously cremated shrooms. I did not complain as i have already been informed about the defensive owner. Sorry we couldnt enjoy this meal, we wont be back.

What a wonderful pub, Susan and her husband Graeme were so accommodating. The food was so delicious. 2 of our party had diet issues and Susan went out of the way to look after them. Susan made me one of the best Bloody Mary's I have drunk for a long time. Thank you so much.

Ten of us descended first thing on Slingsby’s on a cold December Monday morning. We all ordered a variety of breakfast meals including full English, breakfast rolls and porridge. Everything was delicious and served with a smile and in good time. A variety of coffees and teas were also first class. We were all impressed and would recommend and return.

I had my baby shower at Ivy house, the afternoon was perfect from start to finish! The staff were so helpful and accommodating and went above and beyond for me and my party. There were 22 of us and we all had 3 courses and were so impressed with the standard and portion sizes of food. I would highly recommend the Ivy House to anyone wanting to have a baby shower/ small function. Again, a massive thank you to the staff for making the day so perfect!

A really excellent place for a rest and a bite to eat between Brighton and Rottingdean on the undercliff walk. Great quality and fabulous people.

I always prefer their friendly staff for their sensitivity to halal products. Soup and pitas were delicious.
