Great local pub. Never had food

Atmosphere is great, very chilled and cozy. Unfortunately the food is where it all goes wrong. The chicken Kyiv burger was flavourless (not even a hint of garlic) and very, very overcooked. The chicken portion was tiny too. Our "loaded" fries came cold and when we complained, we were handed back the same dish but microwaved - which the waitress has handled! Our beef burger was pretty good though, albeit all the food is very overpriced. Would return for a drink, but certainly not for food!

The Best Real Italian pizza I've eaten in UK. My salami and gorgonzola + spicy was amazing, exactly like in Italy. Congratulations! Next time when I will be around Bradford I will come back.

Went here last night and will never go back food tasted bland everything reheated chips were like concreate staff wernt very professional at all messing about infront of customers like kids drinking alchol at the bar I did however have a chat with a lovely old man who was polite and spoke to he was the only one not giiding around

I visited Little Channels to try their valentines afternoon tea and was definitely not disappointed. A really affordable treat at only £25 per person (£5pp deposit required when booking). We were served an extensive selection of savouries which included a quiche, sausage roll, and sandwiches of coronation chicken, ham & cheese, and tuna & cucumber. The chicken one was served in focaccia bread which made a nice difference to traditional finger sandwiches that you usually get with afternoon tea. The scones were huge and warm so a good sign of being freshly baked! The sweet treats included a mini Victoria sponge cake, a heart shaped chocolate brownie and a chocolate covered strawberry. I feel like that was the perfect amount without getting too full. I feel like this was spot on for the money and both quality and quantity of food. The service was also the perfect mix of attentiveness and friendliness. Would recommend.

Drinks are always great, though I haven’t had any food there, so can’t speak to that. The attitude of the baristas is neither here nor there…they’re not particularly friendly, almost blasé, but never rude. That could do with improvement tbh, but it won’t stop me from going.

Difficult to rate as there was only one member of staff working the restaurant who provided great service but was limited by the lack of support. We waited at the desk for nearly 10 minutes when we arrived before being greeted which was not ideal. Disappointing evening having heard good things about restaurant.

Their Irish curry sauce is amazing!!! Good portions and crispy batter on the fish. Chicken nuggets were good proper chicken chunks and not remushed shit. Highly recommend over palmers. Only downside they close at 8pm. And not open many days of the week

Great beer and fantastic service

It is a small but lovely desert place. The staff serving was quite new so he made my crepe a bit hard(over cooked) but I only informed him. Otherwise it was lovely

Had a very nice afternoon here. The greek stew was excellent washed down with an Efes.

Had Sunday dinner (carvery) was absolutely beautiful, really enjoyed it.

Absolutely love New Pavilion. Can't wait to be able to dine in again with my friends. Actually sent them a Christmas Card saying. Thank You "To the Best Restaurant in Essex". Or words to that effect. The owner is absolutely charming. Great food and the best Fish and Chips. Edited 26th March 2024 Has this restaurant changed hands? I booked a table on line for my friend and myself which I had confirmation that it had been done, then the day before confirmation again that we were still going etc. When we got there the whole place was wrecked and a sign said "closed for refurbishment", We were furious and won't be going there again when it reopens. I can't see the owner, whom we knew really well, all the times we've been before, letting this happen.

I lovedddd the bulgogi kimbap, it was very filling and delicious! Staff are very kind and welcoming,☺️

Absolutely loved my experience. I'm gluten intolerant. I could choose from anything on the menu besides 3 things. Food was divine and service out of this world. We will be back again.
