I am sorry to say we did not feel comfortable or welcome . No one was behind the counter when we first went in We were hungry and admittedly it was past lunchtime maybe 3pm
We had a salad, and it was bland dry and flavourless maybe it had been dressed but not enough basically one salad was blitzed cauliflower carrot and broccoli.. the other was red cabbage apple and pomegranate seed no discernable herbs or seasoning in either .. they could have benefitted from anything like coriander..parsley lemon juice . A proper dressing salt and pepper when I asked for a bit of dressing or olive oil ..politely. I was greeted with it's already been dressed ' but I could have a dollop of hummus .. I persevered and got the oil and salt and pepper which improved it a bit we felt like we were being difficult for even asking .I understand it had probably been a busy Saturday and people were tired but there were no smiles and no good grace I used to live Fika ..sadly it is not the same food wise needs more love and care
¡Sigan trabajando bien, volveremos!

New to shinfield and had seen reviews about this being the best chip shop in Reading.
Well if this is the best I would hate to have food from the worst. I have tried to give them the benefit of my doubt but visited on two occasions now and every time the fish is soaking in oil.
I ordered Haddock on my 1st visit and because they cooked it fresh I thought that was why it was so greasy but today I ordered cod and it’s exactly the same it was soggy and soaking in grease as you can see from the pictures.
It’s a 35-40minute round trip there and I can only afford a take away once a month and to pay £9 for this I feel like I have been cheated very upset and disappointed.

Perfect if you need a night close to the airport. Nice room, easy and smooth check-in, comfortable bed and walking distance from the airport. Would stay again.
Tuve una primera cita aquí, resultó que había cerrado permanentemente sin dejar rastro, caminé arriba y abajo de la calle como 8 veces tratando de encontrar este lugar, resultó que había cerrado hace un par de meses.
Came back here after visiting last year for a friends birthday, last year the food was genuinely amazing, don’t think any other Mexican I’ve had has come close. Portion sizes were massive and the quality was really very good.
Unfortunately, this portion sizes to have slightly changed over the last year as our most recent visit, we found the portion sizes to be quite a bit smaller (we even checked a photo to make sure!). We remember being almost too full to eat after sharing some large nachos last year, what came out the other day I could’ve ate on my own in seconds!
The mains were a similar story, I also tried a new filling and salsa option which I wasn’t keen on, but that’s entirely my fault! My partner’s food was delicious.
The service was similarly amazing, very polite and friendly service. Very attentive, and the venue itself is cosy.
The bar was set so high on my first visit that any change was always going to be upsetting, I get times are tough at the moment but I can’t help but mention my disappointment at the changes to portion sizes!
Everything else was great though.
I have never left a review before of anywhere but I was so disappointed with the food and service. I had a sausage panini about 9 inches long which contained ONE (yes one) sausage covered in disgusting melted cheese. We waited 30 minutes for it after having been served our tea immediately so it was cold by the time the food came. There was a joke of a salad with it but the promised crisps never appeared. And…£7.50 for the sandwich. Really!!!!!???
