I’ve been going here since the shop opened over 5years ago . The food is consistently on point and service is on time . Lovely , friendly team always very helpful . Keep up the good work . I have also had the backyard BBQ team uzzy and co do my BBQ and that was spot on . 💪🏽👍❤️

Food is good but is very expensive compared to other shop capri sun is £2.50

Always top quality fast food. The chicken burgers and wings are easily some of the best around. Always received a courteous and efficient service. Standard fast food seating arrangement.

I bought the smoked half chicken meal (Backyard BBQ) and a portion of fried wings (Tex Bites). The smoked chicken was really soft and easy to pull off the bone. It just melted. The fried chicken was very crispy and also had the same ease of the bone when eating. Only one problem. Both meals....they lacked serious flavour. The chicken had that smoky taste but nothing else. There is a coating of sauce but it's like one brush stroke? The fried chicken felt like the batter didn't have any seasoning. Heck even the chips were bland and soggy. I'm struggling to figure out if I went at the wrong time or bought the wrong items. Maybe the burgers are better? My overall experience has been somewhat light in flavour and somewhat bland. I may need to give this place another go but not any time soon.

I can’t put into words my experience at this place. Honestly exceeded all of my expectations. The mexicana burger was 11/10. Would definitely recommend everyone to come here. I had to order another burger for takeaway. The food was so quick to come and went down a treat!

One of the best wings I’ve ever had in my life, usually in chicken shops the fried food is lying there for hours. Tex bites makes fresh wings every few minutes with some of the best coating.

Used to come here regularly. Since re-opening I have tried the wings which are still tasty, the chicken burgers were great as usual, but Wagyu was simply amazing. I also ordered the Angus burger and I was a little disappointed, felt the portion was too small and the cheap cheese they used wasn’t even melted, they used ready made fried onions, normally wouldn’t have minded but at this price point they really need to make an effort. Finally I didn’t understand why the chef was blowing on my Angus burger, found that odd and unhygienic. Hopefully the owners review feedback given and improve.

First time to this local. OMG. The chicken is fab. Just the right chilli hot. Plus flavour. Great chips. Great staff. That’s the end of going to KFC. How bland is that. Go again - yep.

Some of the best wings you can get in London, crispy, full of flavour and the chicken isn't dried out like other places. Good value for money, some nice drinks included with the meals. Have had some issues with cold chips and slow service but generally would recommend.

Great food, getting a bit pricey though

For those who have been here many years and wondering if it's still the same with the new addition, yes it is still the same but now offer grilled food. I ordered a Mexicana burger and was as delicious as ever.

The food was really good, their fried chicken and jalapeno bombers was my go to every week almost. It was a great halal store. Im sad to know it closed, i wonder why.

This is my absolute favorite chicken place. I go at least twice a month. Unfortunately, they've been closed all week. There is no notice on the door. Does anyone know if they will reopen?

Great fried chicken, super crispy! Gutted they don’t do the crinkled chips no more. Service is hit and miss sometimes but the food is good nevertheless.

I can't comment on food as I never had a chance to even try it. Twice now we went late evening, still during said opening hours, only to find the shop closed. Really irritating when you are hungry and looking forward to the food.

A little something for the readers: you know them as Jalapeno' Bombers, Also knows as Bombers. I see a lot of people ordering these. I know them as Lamb Weston Cheese chilli Nuggets. I was an avid eater at Tex Bites, recently (Last few months), they have dropped their quality down to mediocre (less than average). I thought it was just a down point so decided not to think nothing of it. However, their service level has also dropped, and I don't think I will be returning. The server there has not got my order correct on a few occasions and missing items, drive was not worth going back and neither am I one to complain. The food has gone very dry, small in portion and the customer service is as good as non-existent. It's with regret a review is needed to let the people know. Half a star for the food half a star for service 1 star because the food USED TO BE GREAT. Othewrise would only have given it 1* Peace and love. The Reviewer...

The wings are so over rated there's very little seasoning on chicken. The wings are always cold they don't have a cover to keep there food warm. Chips need to be fries.

Dear owner of Tex bites I was on shop 28/ January/2021 Thursday 8.30 pm I ordered 1 family meal £18 Guy who served ( this is second time) said the colslaw is finished and I requested for some chips instead. But he straight away said that he can't do that and he will refund me. I was shocked by this service and hospitality. He was very in cooperative. Instead refund he charged again £18 after that he refund me £36 . I also in take away business so I don't like to b comments like this but I don't find your direct number . Honestly you are losing your customers.

Stands out from the rest. Chicken is not wet. Coating is crispy and tasty. Chips are always freshly made 😋

Used to visit this place years ago the standard hasn't dropped since visited today and the food was fresh made to order and just how i remember it especially the Mexicana Burger that was 10/10 cannot go wrong with anything you order here to be honest everything is always fresh and the customer service is very good will definitely be back for more and do recommend you to try it out

Taste good when its fresh. Sometimes they use old chicken that time it taste very bad. Service and quality needs to be improved. Price slightly higher compare to other chicken shops. Other then that if u want to eat nice crunchy battered chicken. You will love the taste.

I have been going to this shop since 2014, its sad to say how the food quality has gone down over the years especially under the new management both service and food has gone below par. The blokes on the tills don't have that touch. Food is mostly cold.

Lovely coated chicken wings. Foods always fresh. I normally get Mexicana burger or a mexicana wrap meal they are equally amazing. So usually it’s a tough decision to choose between a wrap or a burger. Chicken wings is always a must. The way to eat a chicken wing is to pull out the two bones and stuff with their chips and enjoy. I did once place the idea to coat the chips with the chicken batter. I’m still waiting for that. Place also looks clean which is always a plus. Family and I call tex bites a high end of the chicken shop as the food quality is on point.

Found hair in chips, was given another portion of chips although they did not believe me, I saw the employee put chips back into fryer for 20 seconds or so and then serve it to me which I didn’t eat. Also this shop claims to be HMC certified however I have seen deliveries from Star caterers who 100% do not sell HMC meat. False advertising of HMC food which needs investigating immediately!

Extremely Clean food and resteraunt. Not at all like a fast food place - with the quality of food and amazing experience it feels as if you are indulging in a posh meal from a highly regarded resteraunt. Definitely getting value for the money. Chicken cooked to tender perfection (Honestly way better than KFC). Make sure to attend during less busy times of the day, due to the obvious fact that service is anticipated to be much quicker during these quieter times of the day. And ensure you call 30mins earlier if placing a larger order. Don't let prices put you off because after you take a bite you will understand and comply with the fact that its worth it.

This place has forgotten it's a takeaway. To give benefit of doubt, I have vistedv 3 times in last 5 weeks and on each occasion it took 25-30 minutes to serve. Last time today, chicken was cooked in chips fryer, this was not cooked through, oil was not allowed to drain and thus eating eating experience very poor. This is not cheap place either, how can you be a fast chicken establishment that doesn't have chicken to serve when customers visit at peak lunch times. Simply, no execuses. I think I will take my custom elsewhere, where they understand what fast food means.

A great place to enjoy delicious freshly fried chicken burgers. The Mexicana Burger tasted amazing - the best chicken burger I've ever had! The chicken was cooked perfectly and indulged well with the cheese and nacho topping. It was crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside, just how a fried chicken burger should be! The Jalapeno Bombers are perfect to have alongside any meal. The shop also sells slush - coca cola and strawberry flavoured. I opted for a mixture of both and it was full of flavour and tasted divine. Great customer service! Staff are very friendly! Food was super quick and all meals are at a reasonable price. Definitely worth the visit!

Great takeaway with very tasty food. The Mexicana Burger meal along with the Jalapeño Bombers go down a storm, truly mouthwatering! You can simply tell the food is made in fresh clean oil.
