The food was so good and the service equally great. Would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant if your in the area.

We recently visited with high expectations for authentic Thai cuisine, but unfortunately, the experience fell short due to the service and waiting time. Upon arrival, the ambiance was inviting, and the menu looked promising. However, the service left much to be desired. The staff seemed unengaged, which set a negative tone right from the start. Despite the restaurant not being too busy, it took over an hour for our food to arrive. One of the waitress clocke us sitting waiting and told us she would sort it. Over and hour and 20 minutes we finally got it delivered. By the time the food finally arrived, our anticipation had soured. While the dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, the long wait and service made it hard to fully enjoy the meal. Overall, Pan Asian may have decent food, but the poor service and excessive wait times are hard to overlook. I hope they improve their service, as the food deserves to be enjoyed in a better dining experience.

Great to pop in for dinner, prior to night out. Portions are generous, staff really friendly. Good location. Note cash only.

Opposite the Turner Contemporary, we visited this Thai restaurant mid afternoon & had one of the set menu’s @ £9.99 each, good choice & no extra charge for prawn! I paid £1 extra for stir fried veg rather than rice, but included in the price is a can of soft drink (we had Pellegrino) too! The service was great, food hot & delicious & amazing price, would definitely go again.

Visited today 28th Aug as husbands birthday. Lots of options reasonable prices attentive service. Delicious food served by lovely staff. Will definately return.

Meal for three adults and two young children tonight and we last all visited two years back and were just as happy this time round. Old pub converted to a Thai Restaurant. It was reasonably busy but we were well looked after and had no complaints. Nine bottles of water and a cocktail kept us well lubricated while Crackers and sauce started us off. Four starters, two curries and a duck dish along with two different rice's filled us up quite nicely. No complaints for any of the dishes and the duck was nice and crispy and was well received by the adults. £115 was a reasonable price for all the bits consumed and we were all happy with our visit tonight.

We came across this restaurant by chance and I ordered the pad Thai and my friend ordered a red curry. Both meals were delicious and the service was fab! WE will definitely be back next time we are down in Margate.

I booked a table here for my daughter’s birthday treat. We have all been here before for different celebrations so know the food is excellent. 3 of us had the special offer which is any curry from the menu. Rice of your choice and a soft drink £ 9:99 . One of us had a chicken with noodle dish and a soft drink plus prawn crackers and a dip. The food was excellent and all arrived at the same time , the staff as usual are so friendly and helpful

So just been to pan Asia for there lunch special,curry,rice and a soft drink £9.99,clearly states on menu upgrade you're rice for a £1 each so did that also as printed on menu you can have stir fry vegetables for £1 each ordered 2 of those so bill should be £11.99 each food was lovely and plenty of it,asked for bill expecting £23.98 bill turns up £30.98 been charged £9 for vegetables question waitress about this with special lunch menu in hand fed a load of rubbish about because you upgraded rice they have to charge vegetables at £4.50 from the main menu,manager no where to be seen and staff didn't try to find him,paid bill but won't be back despite the lovely food. Shame. Ken.

Visited the Restaurant for lunch with my husband. The food was very good as was the service. We both had the long lunch menu which was served very quickly and piping hot. Will definately return..

We really wanted some Thai food after spending a busy day out in Margate. I found this restaurant on here and the reviews were true to form. The food and hospitality were fantastic. The staff were so friendly and the food was top notch. My son has decided he now loves dumplings and he was a fan of the noodles (better than I do at home apparently) so we will now be looking for dim sum local to us. The beef penang was so creamy and the other dish we ordered (I can’t remember the name) was also amazing. I will definitely be going back when visiting family in Broadstairs, it’s worth the trip and now has me planning another trip to Thailand.

Great lunch time menu - we had the meal deal , we were able to request how hot or mild we wanted our dishes , I had a perfect Massaman chicken dish and my brother had some Prawn dish which he loved . The staff were really friendly - this is a family run business , we had a great table in the front of the restaurant so if you are in Margate and fancy a good value lunch then you should give it a go.

We done our usual walk into Margate from home and after looking around the shops decided to have a bite to eat. We were down in the harbour area so decided to drop in Pan Asian for lunch . We do visit here every couple of months and have their lunch time menu which has just gone up in price to £ 9:99 . For this you get any curry and rice off the menu and a soft drink. Great value for money

Classy Thai restaurant. A nice, light wooden interior. A comfortable place and quite large but I would recommend booking to ensure you get a table.

Great value lunchtime specials. My chicken massaman curry was the nicest I've ever had and our vegan friends were very well catered for. Fast, friendly efficient service,too. Can't wait to return.

Food is always excellent. Customer service is also fantastic. Singah on draft too. Sampled most of the menu and the chicken panang is unbelievable. Highly recommend and new premises is lovely.

Thai is my favourite food and this is some of the best Thai food I've had in the UK. I came here with my husband, and we both had the £9 lunch menu. It was beautiful and I will definitely return when I'm next in Margate.

Probably the best Thai food that I have eaten. Fantastic. BUT...freezing chill around the two entry double doors - (why not seal one? They aren't both needed). And OH so noisy in the evening (a Saturday). Had to shout at each other for the whole meal to be heard above the music and the groups of men (6-8-12) having a "larf" . I wouldn't go again in the evening, it's pointless.

The food here is great, we usually really enjoy it! But on our two most recent visits my partner (who has a severe nut allergy) has ordered food on the menu that does not specify that it has nuts in and asks for it without nuts. To be extra cautious he has asked upon collecting whether his meal has nuts in, and the staff have informed us on both occasions that the meal ordered does not have nuts in. Unfortunately on both occasions the meals have had obvious cashew nuts in and this has been a real shame as the food is so well cooked, and obviously potentially dangerous to my partner. I would continue ordering from here but unfortunately I cannot trust them now.

Great food, but sadly a shocking customer service and waiting time. Ordered at 18:10, was told it would be 70 minute wait (collect at 7:10). However we had to wait an extra 40 minutes ! There was no apology or explanation, plus due to their COVID measurements in place, had to stand outside to collect the takeaway ! We were not the only ones who had been waiting all that time. We have been a loyal customer to pans since he opened his own restaurant. It is sad to say if this continues they will lose customers :( This was the 2nd this has happened to us. P.S best massaman curry in the area !

As usual the food was fantastic, apart from lack of sea salt and garlic crumb on the calamari. But the service was poor. Phoned order through at 5:30 for a 7pm pick up but had to wait until 7:30 for food. What is going on Pan? This is the second time this has happened and you are risking losing loyal customers. Please do something for next time.

After visiting Thailand several times over the last few years I am always on the look out for top Thai restaurants in the UK. This place tops the lot. Staying overnight at the Premier Inn over the road I decided to give this place a go.. Only takeaways available at the minute but the food was as good as any Thai food I have ever eaten. I went for spring rolls and a pad ka prow moo. Made very spicy as requested, the food was absolutely outstanding. Huge portions, full of flavour and at a very reasonable price. Friendly service from the chef and waitresses. Just wish it was nearer to home for me as I would be a regular visitor. Superb!

Food was delicious, even tailored to your individual palate if you’d like. Staff are very friendly and takeaway was prompt with food fresh as it came out - 10/10. Have also eaten in restaurant pre-Covid and it is equally brilliant.

Usually with the travel home, food gets cold and taste starts to go, NOT with this place, it’s by far the BEST TAKEAWAY I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Words cannot describe how amazing it is. Just ordered a takeaway and it was superb! I travelled from Whitstable (18 miles away) because we have previously had great food sitting in the restaurant. We have been to Thailand several time’s and this place is by far the best Thai food I have had in this Country. Can not recommend highly enough. We had two mains, a noodle dish and a rice dish. All were spiced to our request. All fresh, hot and delicious. I could go on and on but I won’t . Just try it and you will enjoy it.

Having been told many times by different locals that Pan Asian was the best Thai in town, we finally got around to trying it. And we weren't disappointed. My boyfriend and I are big foodies so know a good Thai when we have one - Pan Asian's food was not only super tasty and authentic but also well cooked, used good quality ingredients and we didn't have any leftovers! We ordered take away of chicken Pad Thai and a green curry with chicken and a jasmine rice plus prawn crackers (which were the stronger darker variety). We were delighted with everything and will definitely be back again.

The red and green curry sauce is nice but the meat (any meat) is just added to the sauce and not cooked with the sauce. No flavour to the meat, the chicken tasted more like boiled chicken with curry sauce on top. The staff were friendly, the decor was more like a workman cafe. I wouldn't choose to go there again.

The kitchen team were so attentive as well.As for Phan's auntie what a host so positive and professional. Yes its up by the train station but a ten minute walk for lunch from the old town gives you an appetite and wow the food is amazing. Chef owned and all the cooking done by him or his Thai staff the food is authentic and very fresh, all cooked to order. I loved the sea bass but then I loved all of the dishes!!!! We went for lunch and it was worth the detour as its affordable abke and absolutely lovely! Oh yes, a good sea view as well!

You might be a bit put off by the location of this restaurant as it is situated between Margate Railway station and slightly faded holiday accomodation but the bright interior is a true forcast for some delicious (and different) food. The sweet and sour chicken stir fry came in a tasty light sauce and the seabass was also well received. Both dishes complemented by coconut rice. The spring roll and chicken satay starters were good too. You can sit in or take away. Good value too.

Simply great Thai food served fresh and fast. On first glance it appears to be a greasy spoon cafe which in fact once was. With tables and chairs you'd see on offer in a poundshop entrance it manages to quell expectations however once you realise that you're not there to be wowed by it's interior but instead eat delicious thai food you'll soon come back, it's now my go to restaurant when i'm in need of a quick hit of big fresh flavours, love it!

Book, sit in or Take Away; possibly the best Thai Food since being in Penang !Green Thai Curry, Duck, Chicken, fragrant rice all cooked fresh in front by two excellent chefs and "Take Away" served with witty banter and good fun, by Natalie and Chelsea; exactly what five us needed and wanted after travelling from Suffolk. Certainly Number 1 on our revisit list when in Margate. Great Stuff !!

Pan’s is a brilliant place to go if you are looking for top quality food, their food is amazing even if you eat in or collect as a takeaway.

It's opposite the rail station and Premier Inn and a long way from other cheapish eating places in Margate. The staff are friendly, the food is genuine (if not up to Bangkok) and freshly prepared and reasonably priced for what you get. No puddings alas. Busy most times we've been there in the evenings.

Visited this little gem last weekend on a club cricket tour of Thanet. We all had a great meal which was beautifully cooked with enough spice and flavour to appeal to all the tastes of our party of 17. The girls serving us were friendly and incredibly efficient serving us promptly as we were hungry after a long day in the sun. Highly recommended from all at Brighton & Hove Crescent Cricket Club.

Visited this restaurant last night as we were staying nearby. It doesn’t look very special from the outside, however it’s fantastic! The decor is quite basic, but the food is made from scratch & is amazing. It was actually the best Thai meal I have had for a very long time. The waitresses were great too & very friendly. Well worth a visit. Highly recommended

I've eaten at Pan's many times and the food has always been great. The Thai staff are polite and friendly. However, our last visit was marred by the rude, abrupt, over-bearing attitude of a new English manageress. I could hardly believe her rude, abrasive attitude towards customers. This woman would be better employed as a guard on a prison chain gang!
