Very enjoyable and relaxing way to spend a couple of hours. Plenty of options about what can be painted and decorated. Helpful and patient staff.

What a great way to spend a rainy afternoon in Bournemouth. Super helpful and friendly staff explain how to paint the ceramics and coffee, tea and cakes make the craft activity divine. Thank you Debbie for all the technical advice and for helping to make my 13-year old's afternoon "not boring". Highly recommend.

I’ve been here multiple times & always had a pleasant experience however very disappointed by the attitude of staff towards me in my recent visit. Around a month ago I had paid a deposit for a booking which I ended up cancelling however forgot to call to receive my refund. Today I mentioned upon arrival if I could receive this refund. The staff let me know we could do this when I had finished painting. When I finished & went to the till, I provided all the information & had up my email conversations up however one of the staff rudely told me that I should have mentioned this earlier (even though I had mentioned this when I arrived) and essentially suggested it was a big inconvenience since they were about to close. Another member of staff mentioned that I could have already received my refund and lied about it to get more money back. This member of staff later apologised for this comment & eventually I did receive my refund however I am extremely disheartened by how I was made to feel. I have loved going to this place but I no longer feel like I will be coming back due to these comments.

Took my 10 year old hear to make a gift for her mum. She absolutkey loved the experience. The lady who helped us who I belive is the owner was superb, super friendly and patient and walked us through everything. I had a great coffee whilst my little girl enjoyed painting a porcelain sign she choose her self. A large selection of gifts to choose from for all ages and genders. Spent approx 25 in total and was totally worth it

I came in with high hopes as i had walked past the place multiple times and thought that it would be a nice place to go for my birthday. The second I walked in I could not find a staff member to assist me or tell me what on earth im supposed to do!! Once i figured out what to do and actually had a staff member assist me as i sat down i felt belittled and everything felt unprofessional and i felt extremely uncomfortable to be there. I thought it would be a fun experience yet all i got was rudeness from the staff. I do NOT suggest coming here at all. I also found hair in my food. 0/10 experience. I would like to see this place shut down.

A beautiful, relaxing space with such a variety of choices to paint! The staff are super kind and friendly, the coffee and cakes are great and it's a perfect place to spend time with loved ones or go on a date 🥰 highly recommend and we can't wait to come back.

This is a lovely pottery. Staff are so friendly and helpful. They never rush you to finish. It’s a great place to go for relaxing. Food is very nice. Can’t wait till my next visit

This is a lovely place! I had a lovely cup of tea and cake while soaking in the creative atmosphere. As I was in Bournemouth for a short period of time, they also completed my order (a ceramic christmas ornament) in less than 48 hours. It was so exciting to collect my colourful creation! A wonderful concept and one of the highlights of my stay in Bournemouth!

this is by far the best pottery studio in the area. it's always a lovely experience and you can find things to pain within every budget. I would definitely recommend for a quiet and peaceful day out. I absolutely love it here. the staff are also very kind and helpful, they will explain the whole process if you haven't been and will help you with any questions you may have

Really fun activity, it was really simple to get started and it was nice to eat/drink whilst painting. The staff were friendly and the experience was great overall. A fun little date idea for adults, and it seems like kids enjoy it too. My only grievance is that the booking system seems outdated; you can only book by calling up or emailing. It’s not an issue, but having a booking form on the website is a fairly basic offering which one would hope to see.

good place, fun pottery and was well organised for our private party. Wish they had more pink colours though. Also the older lady who works there is quite rude sometimes!!

Fantastic way to watch the world go past and spend an afternoon, whilst creating art! Visited All fired up with a friend, both of us have coeliac disease, staff were helpful and thorough in ensuring we had a safe lunch. - staff made us feel safe in the food choices they had to offer and the way in which it was prepared. We had a toastie and a coffee each whilst we painted our mug- perfect!

Place to relax while the children(adults too) paint there pottery for a few hours and use there imagination away from there electronic devices. Drinks and lite bites.

Super friendly staff! The place is amazing, relaxing and a good options for friends (grown ups or kids too). You can choose the item you want to paint, the colours and spent even all day there painting the stuff. Everything is explained before hand. I suggest booking in advance for the Christmas week or weekends in general. We booked and had zero issues. The items are ready like 8/10 days later, I believe they can post it with a surplus. The price of every item goes from a minimum of 8£, but the specific price is written on every porcelain item so is easier and you don’t have to ask if you suffer from social anxiety ❤️. I painted a big cup for around 15£ and my friend too, plus 3£ for cup for being “fired up”. Loved it! They have gluten free and vegan options for the food too! I uploaded the photos of the current menu and opening hours. Have fun!

Friendly and helpful staff, good choice of ceramics and paints. Relaxed atmosphere. Went the week before half term as I wanted to paint something for a birthday present. The staff put a priority on it so it could be sent to me in London before going to the birthday girl in Cheshire. Happy to say it arrived on time for her birthday and she loved it! Thanks to the lovely staff

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Tons of options for painting and a large selection of season items too. It was a little cold as the doors were open but didn’t ruin the experience. Drinks and food were delicious, I’d recommend the carrot cake and hot chocolate.

I wouldn't recommend this store. There's one in Christchurch that is more relaxing and welcoming. They had a reservation for 8 people so were rushing everyone, turning away walk ins and service for food and drink was quite slow. The member or staff walking around was really rude, shouldn't be allowed to work around kids. Would not recommend. Plus everything is way more expensive in this shop than the one in Poole or Christchurch. A coaster is £10.

Such a lovely time! Great service and lovely atmosphere

It was boiling hot in there and the staff didn’t want us to leave when we asked if we could step outside for a short walk and some food as my boyfriend had heat sickness and we wanted some fresh air. In the end we left early due to the heat and staff being rude.

After my children were let down at short notice by Better Craft and Paint Ceramics in Christchurch, Thank you to the lovely owner and staff for making them so welcome and for your kindness and professionalism to them and I. It was appreciated. A lovely atmosphere and a very organised and well-run business. We will be regular customers and will tell all of our friends and contacts about you too. Keep up the great work and you genuinely like children and inspire and deserve this review.

What a great place. Light and bright. People chatting with coffee, cake and creating wonderful pottery pieces. Loved it

We love coming here and especially bringing the kids. A fun activity to do and get a bit creative. Lots of choices for both ceramics and paints, and tools to help decorate them. I would recommend reserving a table as it can get quite crowded. Also when the sun is out, the studio gets very warm, like a greenhouse, so dress well and expect the heat. Prices range from £8-£30+ depending on what you would like to paint, plus a small studio fee. Pick up of finished products is a week to 10 days later. I've been to birthday parties and hen-dos here too which have both been very enjoyable. We love the milkshakes and other homemade drinks as well. Nice treat for everyone.

Great place to paint pottery, and they don't charge you just to sit and watch, like a lot of other similar places.

Great fun, took grandchildren,haven't collected the fired pieces yet so , hoping.

This is a great alternative to your regular cafe. Staff are friendly. I would recommend that you book in advance as tables are usually occupied for about an hour+ whilst customers paint the ceramics. There is a 10 day wait for your ceramic to be baked. It is tempting to do another one when you go back to collect.

My 6year old grand daughter loved it ! We were surprised to find the place full of young adults! But it was a school day

What a lovely concept of a place however did anyone else find the owner really rude? She was shouting at her staff members and also towards children. Lovely place to paint and good selection of drinks but the owner ruined the experience.

Loads of fun with a nice selection of food and drink. Painting the ceramics is a great way to kill and hour or two.

Just got back from spending a few hours here. Such a lovely friendly place to go. Chilled atmosphere and helpful staff. We have been to other clay painting studios before.. but this one is much nicer and will definitely be returning. Thank you 😘

What a great little place this was after my first visit a few weeks ago. A couple of hours flew by, taking you away from everyday life to focus on your inner artistic skill. Lots of pottery to choose from at a reasonable price and the end result pleasantly surprised me. Friendly staff and a good choice of drinks as well. A great place to pass some time and enjoy yourself.

Normally enjoy going here but today the OWNER of the shop was extremely aggressive and rude to my little 4 year old boy (who chose to stack up a couple of Pringle pots in the queue while we were waiting- he’s a child!!!) . Beware as she may ruin your overall experience! Completely unnecessary behaviour, especially after spending a huge fortune on our ceramics! There’s other pottery places in Christchurch and Poole to avoid this nasty woman!

The staff behind the counter were friendly enough but the experience was spoilt by the agresssive and rude lady walking the floor... I feel so disappointed with the service experienced today. We will not be returning.

I'm not particularly arty but had a great time just doing my own thing. 2 hours flew by.

Have been a few times. The most recent time I went, the staff were helpful with pots and paints, asking if you needed drinks or any help. The time before was also great, and they are sosososoooo friendly with children. All the pottery is reasonably priced and food and drinks are delish. I had a chocolate milkshake and came back also with a really sweet trinket pot I had decorated myself. Lovely place, recommended

I went there and decorated a heart, because you can paint pottery. The staff were lovely and helpful. A great place to come.

Such a lovely way to spend time with my friend and provide a birthday gift we could both enjoy! The painting facilities are excellent, great choice of ceramics to paint, friendly knowledge staff and yummy cakes too! Will definitely go again. (Photos are before they're put in the kiln.)

Had a great time here on my baby Moon with my partner🤗 We popped in by chance and booked for the following day. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I chose to paint the letter 'N' (the first initial of our daughter) and my partner chose to pain a Teddy bear money bank. We sat and painted for 4 hours!! Time absolutely flew. We both had paninis and coffees. We honestly enjoyed ourselves so much! My partner couldn't believe I sat there painting for so long as my attention span is usually 20 minutes 🤣 for both pieces of pottery, the charge for painting, 2 coffees, 2 paninis and for the art to be sent to our home, it cost £58!! Cannot go wrong. Thoroughly recommend.

Great place! Friendly and helpful staff if you ask question. Maybe a little more of an instruction and explanation at start would be helpful. Food and drink OK. Spent pretty much the whole day here and didn't feel rushed

Cup of coffee and paint your own pottery very peaceful..but not a lot of room if you're not painting unless we caught on a workshop day....possibly but still nice inside

Very poor coffee and I'm present star it's ok for students and people who hasn't got time popped in for coffee the woman in dreadlocks wasn't very pleasant towards me I would not recommend it is not suitable for children or families

It is such a great experience for all ages and all types. You will not be disappointed. It is the definition of Mindfulness as you focus on what is in front of you and forget everything else. Staff are warm and welcoming and nice food/drinks.

Absolutely love this place! 2.5 hours whizzed by as we enjoyed the relaxing painting with a coffee and some cake. Staff were really friendly and were able to help when I needed some advice. Would recommend booking as it fills up quickly. I'm already booked in again for next week and taking the dog as it is dog friendly!

My gf and I had such a good time here painting bowls. The service as very sweet and friendly and it was an all around wonderful and relaxing atmosphere for painting. The music was good and the food and drinks were priced well. I particularly loved the little trays for the glazes and the sample tiles for the different colors. Also the selection for the items to paint was nice! I did think sometimes they were a bit expensive but the studio fee was only £3 for unlimited time and firing. I also appreciated that they deliver if you can't return back to get your items. It's probably good that I don't live close by or I'd be here all the time.
