Really friendly place and good wholesome food

Called in on a Tuesday because the nearby microphone doesn't open. Cask ale was undrinkable

Not bad but could be a lot better. Had a takeaway once from them when it was a little late. Got a MEGA portion of chips. Never had one that big before. Battered sausage was chewy and could do with more salt and thicker batter. Chicken pie was doughy around the sides and crispy on top, so had obviously spent a lot of time under the heat lamp! Would I go back? Probably, just hope it’s better!

Me and my granddaughter come here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The fish and chips are the best in the area at a very affordable price. She won't go anywhere else because she is fussy about her fish being tasty and crispy. This chip shop fits the bill.

Just like "Cheers" but for anyone, whether you're a newcomer or an old face. Easily one of the best (if not the best) bars/establishments that Hull has to offer

All the staff were very welcoming & friendly, we were the last customers in the restaurant but they were very patient with us we didn't realise how late it was

Firstly, I'm truly sorry to see you go. The East Coast has been the go to venue when we visit the area for some years. Many a family meal had been had here. Always excellent food, service and great value for money. It is a place I would (and have) recommend without any hesitation. I wish you every success for you and your team for the future. Vino a tomar cafés y consiguió pasteles gratis. El personal era muy amable, y el lugar es muy funky. El jardín trasero es un lugar perfecto para una taza tranquila en la niebla del bullicio y el bullicio. Precio razonable.

This is a great pub/hotel with a fantastic chef and a manager running a brilliant business. My husband and I had lunch and it was all very tasty, well seasoned and using local suppliers. This is way above mass produced pub food. The place was busy and customers were all commenting on the quality of the food. It is also very good value. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing food and service. We get takeaway each week from here and it’s excellent but even better when you eat in! Such a lovely atmosphere and the most delicious food. The service makes it!

Great pizza and pastries. Coffee is hit or miss but high recommend

Just wow, I’ve no shame in fact that I’m very fussy, I’d be recommended and have to speak as you fine. Lovely quirky cafe, nice atmosphere & environment. Had no idea what to expect but it was a tad different to the normal and the flavours were amazing. Cheese straw, sausage roll , saved warm with a thin toast with avocado were the first to try. Followed by sandwiches filled with Brie & cranberry, egg, cheese & chutney, ham & lettuce. Then just on cut brought us 2 freshly baked scones with jam & clotted cream. Amazing !!! Desserts not quite sure what they were, but boy were they good my favourite was the lemon, white chocolate & pistachio blondie type of cake. Full to the brim , certainly will return. Well done guys a hidden gem.
