Oh boy I sure do wish I was at Rajshahi Indian Restaurant right now

Brilliant food, and really good service Would have expected it to be busier given the quality of the food.

Great restaurant and good prices

Went for a Sunday buffet with my dad and little one for a treat. Was our first time visiting and I was very impressed.. The service was fantastic and the staff made an effort to interact with my little one giving her some chips and an ice lolly on the house. Very friendly and the food was tasty especially the lamb saag that I ordered to takeaway.

Food was good but a bit pricey for location

Wow, just wow. I was so astounded by the service and deliciousness of their garlic naan and butter chicken. I will be posting about them all the time

Not had a takeaway from here for a while .always enjoyed them .but not tonight .I got an original chicken curry .the chicken was in cubes which to me is shop bought in .lazy cooking ..and the sauce was runnier than my after thought the next day .bloody horrible .the chapatis were undercooked and was missing one .not that it mattered because was uneatable .the salad for the mixed starter was in a tiny bag .used to be in a large tray .mixed starter for two was uneven .our lasses curry tasted burnt and had more oil in it than Esso .

Staff here were super friendly & welcoming. The food was delicious, we had the Chicken Butter Murgh, Tandoori King Prawn Masala & Cauliflower Bhaji with extra sides. The food was freshly prepared, served pipping hot & generous portions. Also very well priced. Highly recommended

Placed a big order, was available for pick up on time, tasted fresh, piping hot and super tasty, all the starters we ordered stood out the most, they were well seasoned, meat was tender, great portion sizes and the dips included we perfect. Mango/lime hard to pick a favourite. Biryani dish was a mega portion, easily feed a few people all on its own. Having visited from Bristol, value for money and quality of starters/mains/breads and rice were brilliant compared to what would be available local to us in the south west. Need to revisit for a dine in meal, staff were chatty, friendly and interesting also, brilliant customer service. 5/5 super happy customer

We had a meal from here and it was amazingly flavoursome. We ordered on line. My son and girlfriend collected it. They were offered drinks upon arrival and offered extras.it was a mammoth feast. Excellent service Excellent people and excellent food. Thanks

I ordered food starters Currys rice ext . Everything was excellent. My cousin came from wibsey to try as I said it was the best I've ever tasted she agreed. I was recommended to you by my neighbours daughter. Won't go anywhere else in future. Thank you the shech kababs was to die for

What a restaurant, fantastic food. Perfect service. Really clean, wonderful staff. Friendly and accommodating. It was our first time there and it certainly won’t be our last! We had a wonderful time, including our 2 girls who had an amazing time and our daughter could have drunk the mint sauce through a straw she loved it!

Absolutely beautiful curry tonight. This is the third time I've eaten here and each time the food and the service have been exceptionally good. Each time I've chosen something different from the menu and each time it has been stunning. Faultless. I am a pescetarian, so don't eat meat, and can recommend all the vegetarian options and the fish. The others in my party eat meat and all enjoyed their food equally. The staff are truly lovely. All of them! I wish I lived closer.

Visited on a Monday evening and we were looked after by janu . Very attentive chap . We had lamb starter and fish pakoras . For our mains we had chicken madras , I had murgh mosalam which was fantastic ( shredded tikka masala and keemalamb)Asian style with extra chillies . Served with chapatis and peshwari naan . The entire meal was fantastic from start to finish . If you’re coming into Bradford to try for good curry then you need to try this place . It’s a bit out of the way but it’s well worth it , I’ve been using it for years and it is very consistent . You won’t regret it . We ate in but I know they deliver . Shaun and Carol

We've even in the restaurant a few times and the food has always been top class. We have just had our first delivery, and all I can say is WOW. Delivered take aways don't usually taste as good as inside the restaurant, but not tonight Josephine. Absolutely gorgeous. 10/10

Took my parents out for dad's 90th birthday. Great service, excellent quality curries and varied menu. Good value for money. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality tasting curry.

He estado usando rajshahi con amigos y familiares durante 25 años, nunca tuve problemas con la calidad de la cantidad de comida, fui anoche y nunca he estado tan decepcionado con su comida, Labu parece que ya no está dirigiendo Rajshahi y otros miembros de su familia (primos? ¿Sobrinos?) lo son. Los tamaños de las porciones ahora son más pequeños, el musgo murgh solía venir en una gran tina circular profunda, ahora viene en una tina cuadrada de la mitad del tamaño, keema korma tenía 2 / 3 la cantidad de picado en que suele tener, las pakoras de pollo ya no son pakoras, sino piezas de tikka en la masa, pakoras de pescado son los mismos, ahora son pequeños, y me refiero a pequeñas pepitas de pescado en la masa, y para rematar ya no se obtiene 3 chapatis con su comida para llevar, ahora es 2 , por el mismo precio. Cuando pregunté por qué era esto me dijeron que es porque ahora ofrecen más elementos en el menú! ¿Cómo justifica esto reducir lo que das a tus clientes, tristemente ya no estaré usando rajshahi y tampoco mi familia. Traiga de vuelta a Labu para dirigir lo que una vez fue un fantástico restaurante y comida para llevar, y ahora es por el aspecto de que está siendo destruido por miembros de la familia que no tienen idea, hay demasiados otros lugares locales que siempre han estado colgando de las colas de abrigo de Rajshahi, pero muy rápidamente lo dejará atrás.

Absolutely love this place eat in or take away never had a bad meal.... Value for money friendly too, highly recommend...

Food is excellent 👌🏻 but the people behind me were going to get charged for an extra drink each that they didn’t have. I took note of this but when I came to pay I forgot and they got away with charging me for 2 extra drinks !!! This didn’t get in the way of my enjoyment of the meal but I was a bit miffed about the extra 12 quid they charged me on the bill. My wife nicked a cobra 🐍 glass from there though, so it’s kind of even 😂

Had a Sunday buffet here a few weeks ago and was so lovely, Then we wanted a takeaway the other night so ordered from there as we enjoyed it, we was so disappointed both curries so oily, wasn’t as nice as we expected, also got a mixed platter was awful all the food was soggy instead of being crispy , just under £30 was cost , won’t be going again

I read another review by another longstanding customer of this restaurant that said it was going downhill since the change in ownership/ management and the food quality had gone down. I couldn't agree less. I've been coming here since we moved to the area in 2004 and agree that Labu and his team were a hard act to follow. As far as food quality is concerned it's as good, possibly even better (sorry Labu!) under the new team. Service wise I think they are still finding their feet a bit but they try very hard and they will get there. Still the best Indian restaurant in West Yorkshire as far as I'm concerned and I'm delighted it's my local.

I have been going to this place for over 25 years and had some fantastic times and meals here , under the old management lead by Labu. However it appears that he no longer runs the place and you can certainly tell the difference. I had a takeaway last night in which the onion bhajis were undercooked, the main meal of a chicken saag was swimming in grease and the chappatis were tepid ! Sadly , I will not be returning to this one time great restaurant.

Used to come here before covid and was always lovely. We heard it had been taken over and it was getting really bad reviews. We have been twice in the last couple of months and food was gorgeous and service very good. Thank you

Food not as good as should be, been going here 27 years, now changed management and to be honest it was poor, don't think we will use again, chicken pakoras were always the best around but now I wouldn't order again, sheek kebabs not up to scratch either, waited over an hour for delivery and it was luke warm, need to find somewhere new

Sunday buffet, went too early food was still been prepared, but we were invited to sit down and have a drink from the bar while we waited. Staff polite and friendly. Food was delicious fresh and hot. The atmosphere was was family friendly as 3 more families came in while we were there. Toilets were spotless, marble walls and polished sinks. Will be visiting again. Also the only takeaway we can find thats open on a Monday while most others are closed. Very enjoyable visit.

I am a regular visitor here but whoever has taken over it’s gone down hill. Food used to be good it’s cold And greasy. Service is terrible and new owner acts like he doesn’t care at all. Won’t be dining there again. What a shame.

Very disappointed. We are regulars here. Ordered a takeout that was £29.60 and was charged £48.50!!! So we paid for someone else’s order called Ella. The food was cold so my partner returned it to be made again. Ordered this to be made for a set time due to personal reasons. It was just all in all shambles and really disappointing

Very poor visit tonight. Service was very poor we waited 90 minutes for main course. Food was served in cold dishes so didn't stay warm. Lots of people complaining and restaurant half empty. Sorry, but don't know what's happened here, used to be excellent. Will be looking for an alternative and won't be booking Xmas with you

food was lovely service was slow despite the fact it wasn’t busy, the entertainment was the best I have ever seen as every other person waiting for food collection was kicking off and arguing with the staff. Dianne from Thorpe Edge sat on a different table said it was the most unpleasant experience she’s ever seen but she is wrong.

Food nice and tasty if you like chicken we opted for the buffet 3 starters fish chicken or onion bhaji mains were 1 meat curry or 3 different chicken were all nice but more variety would be better like a chicken a lamb a veg a keema not as cheap as it used to be for £2 more their are other restaurants about with lots more choice the drinks very pricey and steep charged nearly £9 for a pint of cobra and a limesoda.... Would return but without the drinks

We have had takeaway food from most establishments in the BD10 area over many years. This was the best food ever. We will never go anywhere else after this experience of fresh, tasty food which was clearly made from first class products. A culinary delight.

My wife and I got married last week and we have been away. Our family decided to meet up tonight, to catch up before we all go back to work, next week. And what a shout it was! The service was second to none, attentive, but not too much. The food was served in good time and was superb. The tandoori fish was something else and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Also, would highly recommend trying a Bangla beer too. Will soon be back, thank you guys!

Had a lovely meal with my family, a really lovely Indian meal. I had the prawn butterfly starter, which was really tasty, followed by the lamb Buena, which was nice and tasty. Generous portions and great prices, I recommend. D was a lovely server, great conversation and a warm smile.

Great food. I order a plait of different curries and had pilau rice with two Nan breads. Offered great service and definitely recommend visiting.

The food took two hours to arrive, which was a shame, it was only moderately busy. They also ran out of paneer. Otherwise good food and atmosphere.

Delicious food and lots of it. Only about half full on a sunny Saturday evening but our waiter Dee made us very welcome. Food tasted good and a starter and a main course each proved too much for us to finish, with rice, a garlic naan, a beer and a sparkling water the bill only just topped £50.00. A good evening, and highly recommended.

Visited mid week with a group of friends and so pleased we gave it another try. The food, service and value for money was excellent. I couldn't finish all of my curry and they were happy to pack this up for us. Very nice complimentary drink at the end of the meal already planning our next visit.

Group of 7 friends decided to pay a midweek visit to this curry house. I have never been before even though live with the area. None of us were disappointed. The menu was very comprehensive at decent prices. They also serve alcohol at a not too bad price. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed the food which were good sized portions. The chappati were the best we have ever had. So light fluffy. And a great acompanyment to our excellent curries. Our bill for 2 people came to £61. This included bottle of house wine. 2 large cobra. Pickle tray 2 poppadoms. 2 curries, 1 rice and 4 chappati We did get doggy bags with portion been on the large size. This is now my local go curry house. And will deffo be back again. Thrown all our takeaway menus away and will use this place instead.

11 of us came back here on my recommendation, Including both sets of our parents, all 3 kids and partners and we were not let down. All the staff were very professional and the food surpassed any restaurant nearby. Quality food, great staff and a brilliant night, The young server from 'darn souf' was a star even helping my 84 yr old mum down the stairs to outside. I have never been disappointed with this place and will continue to support them. They and the food and Brilliant!!!!

Food and service excellent. Generous portions with plenty of meat, unlike so many others we've been to. Very clean and plenty of seating. Good atmosphere. Sundays busy as they serve a great value buffet, although we chose from their extensive menu. We travelled from Doncaster to try this restaurant and were not at all disappointed. Definitely will be going back. And they have an authentic Bangladesh beer!

Had a sit in meal with my wife last night. The food was fantastic and still at the high standard that it has always been. New manager and staff are welcoming and friendly, have got lots of exciting plans for the place. Still one of the best in Bradford. All the best Baz and team .

Having had the pleasure of eating in at Rajshahi as well as picking up for takeaway it's always been a pleasant experience. The staff are amazing and they do offer alcohol on tap which is a huge bonus. The restaurant itself is clean, tidy and very spacious however it's not wheel chair friendly. Overall a 10/10 in my experience.

Great little spot in bradford! Warm and cozy with elegant decor, perfect for a nice dinner with family. Ordered a range of food from starters to mains and it did not disappoint! The starters were delectable, lamb chops were amazing as well as all the other stuff. The mains were absolutely delicious and tasted so fresh! The curries were scrumptious! Also the customer service was absolutely fantastic very sweet and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!!!

We have been there a few times. Pakora had a lot of batter. The curry was average. They did come and ask if we were doing good. We get better fare for that amount of money else where. Hope the much-loved place improves again, back...

Been there for Sunday Buffet with my family watching it's reviews. I was surprised seeing their buffet items. Only 5/6 items and 3 starters. No desert. Tiny space, had to wait few times to refill. Found unwashed spoon on tray. And toilets need tiding up. Lamb curry was ok.

Been away all week, come home ordered a curry and had bones in the chicken pakoras and bones in the chicken tikka masala curry also found a metal like spring in the curry. Very disappointed got a refund straight away

just had a takeaway from rajshahi , love to use to love this restaurant! but the last frew takeaways have been poor the meat samosas have no meat just potato and peas , the mushrooms rice was nothing like you get when dining in. ..update decided to give it another go a d have to say takeaway food had improved 100%

Amazing food, good service! Lamb was unreal!

The food was great. Hot and spicy with flavour. Customer service was also great. Draught lager chilled to perfection. One star lost because the room was like a sauna. The blow fans they had going helped, but are limited in reducing room temperature. Still. I'll be back, whatever the weather! 👍

This is my favourite takeaway by far. The owner is the nicest person you are likely to meet. He always brings me out a poppadom with a dip while I wait for my food. The food is always spot on. Plenty of parking spaces too.

Attended Rajshahi tonight with the Mrs as we are visiting Bradford for the first time. Ordered Lamb bhuna and chicken tikka chillie for our mains which were beautiful. We requested a staff member to recommend a drink and he made us a mix of juices which we both loved. Very attentive and friendly staff members and can see that they have a good relationship with everyone who comes to the restaurant. Service was amazing, will definitely recommend trying out this establishment.

Visited as a couple late evening. Had fish pakoras which when arrived seemed like a massive portion but the batter was beautifully light. Main course was also lovely. Will definitely return.

GRTCC - 3 out of our 4 curries were great, the 4th which had a topping of cheddar and mozzarella was a nice, but not what we had expected, but that would not put us off going again. Good atmosphere and just a great place to eat, would go again.

Glad I chose this eatery! I was guided through the menu by the knowledgeable waiters. I chose 3 sides and garlic rice - Desi stylee!! The rice was gorgeous. Maybe the perfect amount to eat. The tarka dal was impossibly creamy! If I lived next door I'd be over every evening! Unfortunately I'm in Brighton and we don't have what you have in Bradford sadly. You truly can not get a better curry, the Rajshahi is the best curry house in the UK, brilliant quality, brilliant service, brilliant portion sizes. Been going since I was 8 month old (heating up baby food) and will never stop!

We have visited a few years ago and had the buffet. This time we ordered off the menu because of COVID they haven't started to do again. The food was alot better this time, I don't know whether the buffet , they used to put basic curries , but it was more enjoyable.
