We fancied a change of scene from our usual haunt and we weren’t disappointed. We all agreed this was the best curry we’d had since moving to Shipley. In addition to excellent food, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Even the service was wonderful! Cheers guys, we’ll be back. 🙏

My father and I were treated to a meal at Jinnah's by family friends. And what a treat. A very small bistro style restaurant (about 16 covers), with a nice atmosphere. A lovely warm welcome by the staff. A small menu choice (compared to other Indian restaurants/takeaways) but enough - alongside the main menu there was also an 'autmn' menu. The food was amazing. The pilau rice was steaming hot when it arrived. The pashwari naan was stunning - light, tasty, nicely cooked. The staff were very pleasant - they worked well together, they were friendly, they were chatty. Cash only. Alcohol not available to buy. Jinnah's is obviously a well-liked restaurant - the number of takeaway meals on order was unbelievable. I can understand why.

BEWARE - CASH ONLY - TAX AVOIDANCE/MONEY LAUNDERING OUTFIT! Was going to try this place for the first time on Sunday 15th September, arrived to be told it was a cash only operation, that's totally unacceptable these days and I'm not going to use my cash to help others launder theirs or avoid tax.

Good food in a very pleasant venue

I very rarely go anywhere where I don’t find even a minor fault but this place is one of them! We were acknowledged as soon as we stepped up to the door and given an apology for our table not being quite ready, took maybe two mins to finish. Staff were extremely friendly, efficient and courteous. They obviously get a lot of regulars and chatted with them but not to the point of leaving other customers unattended, I didn’t get the guys name but he even noticed it was our first visit and chatted to us about that. The restaurant is small but that makes it even better! The decor makes it feel warm and cosy, like you’re at a friends for dinner, even the toilet was kitted out to a high standard. All of the above matters but the most important thing was the food. My partner and I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants, even when we go abroad and we have a couple that we’ve travelled 100’s of miles to visit again but the food here is absolutely amazing! I’d even say the best we’ve had. I read a review before we went saying someone had to wait 55 mins for their food, which wasn’t the case but we’d happily have waited that long as the food is worth it. We will definitely be back! And now only have to travel from Skipton.

Been here a couple of times now. Was recommended by a friend and it's a great place to eat. Staff are very friendly and the food is superb. Highly recommend.

For those reading the reviews on here will see the many positive comments and reviews like the one below should really be discarded and the other very petty few the many positive reviews speak volumes, often you can go to a place and perhaps try something new and it’s not to your liking, just try something new next time. This is a small independent run bistro and also busy takeaway. Food is always served piping hot and is cooked to order on the 5 years we’ve dined here never had an average or disappointing meal. The menu whilst not massive which js understandable due to the size of the kitchen is top quality , alongside the menu runs an additional seasonal menu. Lamb chops starter is one of the best around! Bring your own drinks, it is cash only tho so take note, nearest cash machine is COOP or Shell if you do get caught out. Always attentive service and a firm local favourite. Keep up the good work Sal and the team.

The problem I find with Indian restaurants are some courses are ok and others good. I would rate this restaurant 6/10 mainly for its starters. But the mains are just ok to me. Mr & Mrs Fussy

I have been here 3 times and it has been fantastic each time, everyone that I have been with has said how nice the food is and how good the service is. I have had different dishes each time and all have been great. I will definitely be back. Great food and great prices!

Superb in all aspects. The staff were friendly and experienced, service was efficient, and choosing an unset table in the window was not a problem. The food was just amazing from start to finish. Aside from generous portions, the quality and presentation was outstanding. A considered menu with interesting occasional dishes, which we hope to explore more thoroughly. Very highly recommended.

Food, service and atmosphere all 100%. The best Indian meal we’ve had out in a long time. Very reasonably priced but that was not reflected in the quality. We were passing through so picked this place based on Tripadvisor reviews but will be back specifically to eat here.

Great bijou Bistro serving tasty Kashmiri Curries! Friendly and courteous hosts, great chefs, cosy bistro atmosphere. Recommended booking, BUT our hosts took our number and called back when a table came free. Excellent!

The food is always great but we ordered for delivery for the first time (usually pick up) which took ages so although the food was lovely it was barely warm by the time we got it.

Simply the best food in the Bradford area. I visit weekly when travelling for work. The place is intimate and welcoming. The owner/manager is the nicest guy and always wears a smile. They operate a BYO for drinkers and also do takeaway. The food is simply divine! Chicken pakora starter and a Karahi Palak Chicken are my go to but everything I’ve tried has been amazing.

Came here as part of our Bring your own Beer curry night, it didn't live up to expectations or recommendations, which is a shame, as talking to people who have been, I think we just picked a bad night.

We've eaten here quite a few times, the food and service is always great and the place itself is always clean. Tonight was just that extra bit good, one of our main dishes was Fish karahai....absolutely outstanding! Really, really, really good especially if you like fish...highly recommended!

We are visiting the area for a few days and fancied a curry. The restaurant reviews were good and the meal we collected was delicious. If we visit Saltaire again we will definitely be paying them another visit.

Outstanding food and service in this tiny Kashmiri bistro come take away. Best Tarka Dahl in the known universe. Boiled rice ho hum, but the rest just sublime. Book....it's small but ooh so good.

We had a really great night here as a group of work friends. The food was delicious and the staff really looked after us. The Christmas banquet is just such amazing value for money. Thank you, can't wait to return!

Another cracking meal. Don’t come often however when family come from London they love to visit here. We were given a warm welcome and served quality food which was cooked to a high standard, fresh and full of flavour. Lamb Karahi and fish Karahi were the highlight

Why on earth would one of the employees walk through the restaurant with a rubbish bag. Do they not have a back door? It was a bit unsightly as my dad and I were eating. ??

Probably the best curry in the area. The palak panned was so full of flavour and a very good sized portion. Delivery drivers are always just as polite and friendly as the staff in the restaurant

Now I love curries. New to the area and I had to decide between the Italian few doors away or the Indian food. U know it would have to be the curry house. Unfortunately it didn't have the traditional curries I'm used to. The popodam was not crispy and fresh, I knew this was a mistake... Especially when I received the bill. They are cafes in Manchester that would cook better for half the price. I left well disappointed and I for one shall not be going back.

I keep coming back to this restaurant! Food is excellent and service is always great.

Booked the last slot available and heard really good things about the bistro. The menu is limited which I expected for the bistro and the food was good and the staff were pleasant and attentive. The only thing that let us down was the wait time for food. We had to wait for 55 minutes just for the starters. We were either forgotten about or the regulars who had obviously been there numerous times were offered their food before ours.

Ordered a takeaway from here and been meaning to try for a while and got to say the food was amazing and will definately be using again.

Delicious curry. Not your typical curry house, more care taken over the individual dishes and flavours with a smaller more selective menu. Have eaten in once and had takeaway a few times. Very small inside with only 4-5 tables, but cosy nice atmosphere and friendly service. They were cash only when we ate in, but this might not have been the norm.

This was my third visit to Jinnah Bistro, even though we do not live particularly close it is worth the drive. I had the summer special prawn tikka which was fantastic, perfectly spiced and cooked, followed by the mutton Karahi which again was excellent. Will be back.

First visit last night. What a lovely evening, fantastic food, wonderful staff and great ambience. The lighting and background music were just right, and how so many others get this essential part of the dining experience wrong! Being allowed to take your own booze makes this a real value for money eat out treat too. I can't wait to take friends, it's definitely by far the best restaurant in Saltaire for me, I will be back soon!

This place has amazing service and incredible food. Mutton Karahi was amazing and so was the garlic naan. Make sure to come here whenever you have the chance

Food was absolutely delicious, portions were good, highly recommend the lamb chops and the chips, lamb biryani and butter chicken were also delicious, we got served quick and the owner was very friendly, would definitely recommend and go again. Visited again a year later at a very busy time, staff were amazing and went above and beyond with excellent service, food was great again, would highly recommend.

I wish I could give this place more than five stars, it’s honestly the best place round here to go for dinner. The restaurant is really nicely styled and always super clean. The service you get from Saleh and the team is second to none, we always feel so welcome and looked after and love coming in. Then the FOOD! It is just beautiful, we have even sometimes just ordered whatever is recommended to us as we trust so much that it will be fantastic. We have brought family here, had birthdays here, and always come to celebrate a new job or special occasion as we know it will always be a wonderful experience. It is exceptional value too, we’re always surprised by the reasonable price of the bill!

We order takeaway from here maybe once a month. Not had the opportunity to eat in yet. But the staff are always wonderful and so attentive, even when just picking up

Every time amazing food and service.

Wow! Consistently great food over many orders. The lamb karahi, chicken Karahi, saag aloo and the sizzler mix are all excellent. I have tried other highly rated local curry takeaways, this is the best curry. Also, as a side note I made an error on the order on the website, ordered twice by mistake, they called me to straighten it all out. Couldnt have been nicer about it, excellent customer service. 👍 They prefer if you order from their website instead of other services.

The Asian Style Butter Chicken was the real thing and absolutely delicious. Probably the best chicken curry I’ve had in a restaurant.

Family of 6 dining on a Saturday evening. Warm, friendly welcome, really nice atmosphere and a little hidden gem. We have never eaten here before and we will 100% be returning soon. The restaurant is small and cozy but not at all crowded. You have to book so no large groups just walking in. It is bring your own alcohol but this isn't an issue as a late night Coop is open across the road and have good deals on alcohol Staff were really friendly and helpful. Couldn't do more. The food… WOW 🤩. You could tell they used quality ingredients and the portion sizes were good. Highly recommend the paneer starter… yum. No Chapatis on the menu but no issues, the naan was tasty. Location is great as a number of bars in and around - Boat House, Don't tell Titus and Salt. Price is as you would expect, reasonable and fair! Especially for the quality of the food. No negatives or constructive feedback. LOVED IT

Visited early evening, warmly welcomed and experienced friendly efficient service throughout. Small place but didn't feel crowded. Food was absolutely delicious, everything tasted really fresh and really well spiced, not a huge menu like many Indian places but I think all the better for it as what they do they do really well. Don't serve alcohol but the coop across the road provide option to get chilled drinks that you are able to bring in. It was also really great value for money, would highly recommend and we'll definitely be back.

Fantastic food always, great value always

Had a wonderful curry here tonight with a friend. Great atmosphere and the food was even better. I had butter chicken and it was delicious. The garlic naan was the best I’ve ever eaten. We also had starters of Massala fish and chicken pakora which were equally delicious. Will definitely be returning.

5 full marks! Just had a most wonderful meal ! Food was cooked to perfection, service was immediately given the min we were seated, Sal has turned this place into a little hidden gem in the heart of Yorkshire! This is real traditional cooking with all the flavours you will love, what an experience, not over pricey too! And wait till you see the immaculate spotless rest room, so glad we no Longer have to travel into bradford and struggle parking . Well done all staff at Jinah Bistro saltaire.

We had dinner here last night and the food was off the scale! Really that good. We had popadums and pickle tray, followed by lamb chops and meat samosas... then shared a butter chicken Asian style with garlic naan's and chips... all delicious. I just rate as 4 ⭐ as whilst the food is great the place needs a lick of paint/freshening up , toilet needs sorting and I'd surely rate it 5 ⭐

Food is OK. Strong smell of alcohol in the place as everyone seems to walk over to co op and buy wine to drink whilst they eat.

I was recommended this place a few weeks ago and as normal checked out the reviews before making my booking. It didn’t disappoint ! This place is a little gem , a quaint restaurant , in a lovely part of Bradford, offering great service and superb food. Book early because this place holds around 14 people inside and it could be difficult to just walk in asking for a table. Thoroughly recommended for a mid-week or a weekend curry. I’m sure I’ll be dropping in again sometime soon

Amazing food and awesome service. First time visiting Saltaire and had heard great things about Jinnah Bistro, it didn't disappoint. They luckily had room for 2 of us but I'd totally recommend booking in advance. Caters for all, we had some great vegetarian dishes and yeah, would visit again for sure!

Without a doubt my favourite spot of a curry Doesn't matter if you eat in or order a takeaway the food is always insane! The veg smasosas are a fave of mine, always have a nice kick to them and the Chicken Karahi is my go to; it's spiced beautifuly, warm but not over powering. My Dad and brother went for their Christmas meal last year but we couldn't join because I have covid. Will 100% book again though if they are doing Christmas day again this year! Sal and the team are so lovely and very welcoming.

They don't take cash and didn't say when we made the booking. Local cash machines weren't working! That aside, service was good and friendly. We were unanimous in saying it was the best South Asian/ Indian food we had ever eaten! Can't wait to go back

Second visit to Jinners and it was a good had lamb chops from main menu as starter delicious then a main from the seasonal menu mutton haleem it was superb! A good size portion that ment I could enjoy some for lunch today

I booked a table at Jinnah based on the reviews I read. We were visiting Bradford from Nottingham. Jinnah is a small bistro with about 8 tables. It doesn't serve alcohol but there is a co-op across the road. What it does do is really good food.

I think unfortunately the restaurant has fallen for the same problem a few other local restaurants have around here, since the restaurant now offers a takeaway option the quality of food has declined due to the increase in customers. The starters were disappointing they were not fresh, the chicken seekh kebab I felt was warmed up it's texture was rubbery, the lamb chops were too fatty for us. The mains were worrying because myself and my wife ordered chicken and keema karhi, it was alright, just not a lot of taste, come the end of my curry I felt like I just wanted it over and done with, it was just okay. Given that the majority of the menu is karhi dishes I worry all the food is just as bland. Decent naan breads, nice and doughy. Its a shame because we came here a few years back and it was one of the best we've had, and we've tried everywhere!

Went for a midweek meal here at Jinnah Bistro . It was our second visit . It's a very small restaurant but no worse for that . If you want alcohol you have to bring your own . Started with the lamb chops which were okay but not flavoured enough . I then had the keema which was absolutely delicious plus a really sweet nan bread . We will definitely return .

Pleasant ambience, high quality authentic cuisine and a roaring trade in takeaway although we ate in. Had the Fish Kahari which is not always on a menu. Absolutely delicious and the naan was the best tasted ever.

Food is really amazing but really wish you could pay by card online. Frustrating when you have the visa and MasterCard logos on your website then you get to checkout and it's cash only!!!

All the food we got was excellent. We had Chick Tikka Masala and Chick Korma. Nan's, Rice and Veg Samosa's. All of which were excellent. Plus fast service. Im glad Saltaire has a place like this. well done and thanks.
