I have to say I was very impressed from start to finish. The decor is immaculate. The atmosphere was amazing. The food and service was brilliant. They also have an upstairs which can hold up to 80 people, for parties and events. Big shout out to asim and mujtaba for excellent service, well done lads. The management was top and very respected by them. Very happy with this restaurant in sha allah will be regulars.

We were 10 people went to the International restaurant located in Sticker Lane. We sat upstairs for dinner.Tha staff and the service of the staff was great. The environment was also very lovely there.Thay were so polite and well behaved with their customers. Their food quality was also top notch.I definitely will go there next time for any programs.

Food quality is very poor we ate special international starter which was not properly cooked and in main course chicken masala which have no taste first time been there will not recommend to anyone

Very traditional and the best taste of Curry's. Starters are very good too even for vegetarians. Their service is really fast even at busy time. All staff very nice and polite. Will definitely recommend going there.

I visited international stickerlane with my family. Very busy place but we We Had an amazing experience at International sticker land. My family loved the food.The service was top notch. Our waiter called Shibby was very attentive and had excellent recommendations. Absolutely loved the atmosphere there. Food was exceptionally delicious and gave authentic taste.Parking area is also very spacious and free which is the best part. I absolutely recommend visiting International sticker lane. Love their complimentary mint chocolates at the end. Service is 10/10.

I have to say the buzz about this place is real. I could not believe how busy it was on thursday. The place was full to the brim. Both floors. My husband shouted at me for not booking as we had to wait 30 mins for a table. I didnt think it would be this busy on a tuesday. In the end it was all worth it We had the best experience ever at this amazing curry house. Succulent lamb chops to the authentic chicken karahi. My go to place for a curry now without a doubt. Its very rare that all my family agree on something haha. But they all said this was the best experience at any restaurant they have had. Now that's a big statement. I just hope that it continues to keep up the great standards unlike so many places who are never consistent and have gone downhill...

Great service from Usman brilliant food fantastic atmosphere

Came in on Saturday and it was a wonderful experience and I commend the staff and management which treated us brilliantly despite how busy the restaurant was. Starters were brilliant and I would recommend the lamb chops and cheese seekh kebabs. Mains were served relatively quickly to what I was expecting in comparison to how busy the restaurant was. The service was brilliant by the waiters and I can’t find a fault with my visit. Will definitely be visiting soon again

This place is overrated after hearing it’s such a great place with great food. I was very disappointed. The curries were very watery and tasteless. I’m Asian and I know my curries. I go to a different restaurant every week and this has gotta be the worst out of all of them, I would avoid you have to normally wait in a queue in the waiting area for 40 minutes before you get seated. I do not know how this place is busy most of the clientele are English people who are here obviously don’t know their curries. I won’t be visiting again. I normally don’t leave reviews but this one definitely needed one to one other people. The car park is tiny. We will be lucky to find the space. We had to wait 10 minutes for someone to drive off so we could get in their space and don’t even think about taking a push chair there There is no room for one or a car seat The men’s and ladies toilets are right next door to each other you literally walk into and touching into the other when you walk out

The experience was very good and impressive for a first time. We booked a 9pm table and we were running a little late, they still welcomed us and we had mad fun. Food was just amazing. Probably go as far to say the finest Curry I have ever had. Great that they also cater for kids including English dishes as well as smaller Indian options. Our server Dilly was great. Really freindly and attentive. I would definitely visit again.

Worst experience of my life. Having travelled and eaten at the finest Restaurants across the country. The International was a big disappointment. The experience should not all be about how good the food is but also about the venue and customer service. My first impression was the reception area where the customers were cramped together and thoughts of a fire hazard and health and safety ran through my mind. Which was reiterated with my daughter and her young child falling down the wet and slippery stairs of the restaurant when we were given a table on the second floor. My daughter and her child had to visit the hospital. Not once did the management show any concern. They only completed an incident log form when challenged by us. Which incidentally was full of other accident reports. The Manager was rude and aggressive when challenged about the Health & safety of the place. The restaurant was at its capacity with yet more customers being let through the doors. It was noisy with yet more noise with the loud music. Not what one would expect of an "award winning restaurant". No class and no concern for the safety of the customers. I even saw a pregnant lady that was struggling to navigate the stairs. Would never recommend this place to anyone. The International Restaurant is cattle market. Try deleting this one like all the others!!!

I would advise to stay aware from here. An incident occurred where a little boy and his mum fell and ended up in hosp no remorse was given. We booked a table for 7 for 25. We walked into the place and it was packed to the point it was overcrowded everyone was almost on top of each other. I in advanced let the staff know that there be 7 children attending. We was placed upstairs the steps were narrow and steep how was suppose to take children up there without no incidents. As we got upstairs a table for under 20 guest were given and we were told some would have to sit seperatley, why would this be offered when we have gone for a family meal. As our food came my nephew and cousin went to the toilet, as they came back up the stairs they fell as the floor was wet, there was no warning signs both were injured where they ended up in hospital and there was no accountability taken other then justifying what had happened. As soon as the incident happened there was no sorry or even asking if there was okay and a wet floor sign was taken out. We was in disbelief. As we went downstairs we demanded for a log book so the incident would be logged, this was after 20 mins back and forth the incident book was brought out. Prior to this we asked to speak to a manager and the waiter had lied to say he was the waiter. Furthermore, one of the workers had fell going up the stairs and there was no remorse given to this worker, the fire exists were blocked which is another saftey hazard, they clearly didn’t give a damn about the safety of their customers. We challenged as to why the floors were slippery and asked for them to do something about this so future incidents as such would not occur for example get carpets, the managers response was that it would be too expensive for them to do so with cleaning them constantly. What an absolute joke is this. I am still in shock with the poor service we received. They told us not to pay, we was happy to pay even tho the incident happened as our food arrived and we had not eaten lol but since the moment we stepped in the restaurant it was awful. They responded to my Instagram comments by blocking me because they wish for no one to know of this incident which is a joke.

Went for my husbands birthday meal with family. Our server - Asim - was an attentive friendly waiter. He served us with so much professionalism. He made our whole experience even better.

My wife and I went to the international on Thursday 21 November. First impressions were that the decor was nice enough. The tables are rather close together. They definitely should space them a bit further apart. We had two loud gore on one side and a family of four on the other with two noisy children. We ordered the mix grill and lamb karahi with 2 nan breads. When the mixed grill came it wasn't sizzling and lacked flavour and heat. I suppose this is aimed at the white clientele who would probably find it ideally. The lamb karahi also lacked flavour and heat. We were both very disappointed with the food. The service was not great either. My wife asked for coca cola and was given some unknown brand that she said tasted exactly like lidl's own brand cola. Before the lamb karahi came out i asked the waiter if the nans could be changed to garlic and coriander. He came back and said that they were already in the tandoor. Alas chance to demonstrate good customer service missed. We ordered two nans thinking that we would need two for the karahi. One would have been enough. The waiter could have told us this when we placed the order. We had to skimp with the lamb karahi and managed to eat one and a half naan. The rest going in the bin. Afterwards we both didn't feel too good. We felt bloated and heavy as of the food was struggling to go down. To conclude the food is not to our taste at all and we will not be returning. When we go back to Derby we'll be definitely visiting our favourite restaurant Desi Dera on Normanton road to taste real Asian food done right.
