We came with our son’s dog for a short break, all of us were made extremely welcome. Dog bowls, treats and bed were made available to us during our stay. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room had a dual aspect and was bright and airy & beautifully furnished. The food and drinks were fabulous as were the staff who served them. Housekeeping was efficient and friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel and we will certainly be returning.

We stayed here for my son’s wedding which was in nearby Farley House. We arrived late after a long day. The staff came out to help carry our many suitcases to our rooms. Everyone was amazing. Breakfast was freshly made and delicious. The rooms were very comfortable. Will definitely come back to stay as didn’t get the opportunity to use all the facilities. Amazing hotel and staff.

Just had a very pleasant weekend away in Jan and the hotel delivered better than we expected. Staff charming, food very good and spa was really good considering the time of year. If it was that good in Jan must be fab in warmer months when the lovely gardens come into play

Just had a stay here in a room with a hot tub, the views were incredible, everything about the room was lovely and the hot tub perfection. The spa was gorgeous and I had a hot stone massage, Amy the masseuse was amazing and I will definitely be back! Every staff member we came across from reception/spa & restaurant were so genuine and lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I hope they get a christmas bonus because deserve it! Stunning buildings and surroundings, needless to say, we loved it and will be back.

Wonderful service at this countryside gem. Highlights include the private hot tub in our fenced off garden, the double roll top baths and the staff kindly ensuring our special request for champagne and flowers in the room. We enjoyed a cocktail in the bar before a delicious steak dinner in the restaurant. The staff at the front desk were particularly helpful and gave great customer service. Recommend this hotel for special trips away - not least for the great spa facilities and beautiful location.

I visited Homewood again recently for a spa break and was impressed by the newly built pool with bubbles and a new sauna. I really love the homely feel of this hotel complemented by impeccable service. This time I stayed in a suite which was warm and cosy. The bathroom was spacious with a huge shower and a bath. I had my dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the food was tasty.

Lovely high end hotel beautifully located outside Bath. Presently difficult to get too due to roadworks scheduled to last till next March! The staff were very helpful & attentive and our room was very comfortable. Our chosen overnight co incided with a terrible storm so there were challenges we became aware of, especially the spa. The food was delicious and we sat by a delightful fire having supper whilst the weather was creating havoc outside. The hotel was busy even for a Sunday night it's obvious people choose homewood for that extra touch and they deserve the accolades.

Absolutely Stunning Experience! Our stay at Homewood Hotel in Abbey Lane, Bath, was exceptional. The service was impeccable, the staff were amazing and so helpful and accommodating. Really lovely. The room was beautifully designed with immaculate bed bathroom and shower. We loved having a jacuzzi and sauna, which added a luxurious touch to our stay. Breakfast was also amazing, with a delicious and varied spread, with the offer for breakfast in bed. The spa was clean and amazing, with everything set at the perfect temperature. With great views and great amenities it was the perfect place to relax. Overall, Homewood Hotel exceeded our expectations. A flawless stay and definitely deserving of five stars!

My wife and I stayed at Homewood for her birthday, from the moment we arrived the service was excellent, we carried our bags to the reception, looked around and they were gone!, taken to the room, from the moment the service was attentive without being intrusive, we did the recommended walk and was out for 4 hours as we took the longer route and it was breath-taking, the food at the location is great, I like the music changes during the day though I would suggest streaming Soma Fm Groove Salad in the garden during the day as some great ambient chill out would work really well, but the Ibiza Beats were ok, We will be returning for sure, Highly recommended. Other facilities: * Spa * Treatments * Saunas * Pool * Steam * Rooms with private facilities

Small hotel with friendly service in excellent location near to Bath and other attractions. Fairly recently refurbished with some works still ongoing. Quirky reminder of former ownership abound along with decor that at times seems a bit bizarre. Seemingly popular as a spa break hotel, the facilities are commensurate with this being a small hotel, despite the website promotion. Facilities are there for busy at peak times for day visitors. Grounds are beautiful. Almost unique facility of a dog agility course. Our room was spacious and comfortably fitted. Several clever ideas that make for enhanced service. But room next to dining room is uncomfortably exposed in parts and noise from dining can be overheard. This room and it's neighbour have level access from outside the front door. Very slight annoyances: bizarre rule that you need a dog to enjoy the best views from the dining room. Designated fire exit has been turned into an office and exit blocked. Overall, a very pleasant day and would recommend.

We had lunch at Wilks today and had a great experience. The four courses and various extras were consistently excellent and interesting in their own way. The menu hung together nicely with seafood starring throughout paired imaginatively with various seasonal produce. At such a small venue you know you're getting the chef's full attention, and this really showed as all elements were perfectly cooked and presented. The wine flight was well worth it with interesting and sometimes unusual (in a good way) wines complementing each course well. James was friendly and made us feel very welcome & we apprecated the informal feel. Would love to return in the future.

What you see pictured is, apparently, £27.50 worth of Indian food. We ordered just two curries online - adding on +£8 for king prawns with the bhuna. Arrived to be told there was a mix up with the website not sending the order; they had no knowledge of it and we had to wait for it to be cooked. That's fine - they apologised, and we were in no rush. We had, however, been expecting two excellent curries at almost thirty quid for just two dishes. What we recieved - I've got to say - is further evidence to me that, most of the time, you're better off just finding a decent Youtube cooking channel and doing it yourself at home. No king prawns, either.

Easily the only serious restaurant in Bath committed to authenticity. It takes dedication not to fall into the trap of complacency in an environment where you can probably get away with a significantly less than average effort (as is the case with most restaurants in Bath). They don't go easy on the spice either! There's no whitewashing of their dishes whatsoever. Enjoy!
