The best restaurants in United Kingdom

Went for dinner in Ranas which previously was always really good. Sadly I think the business may have changed hands. On entering noticed there was no linen on the tables and just white paper mats which cheapened the surroundings, although menu was the same, was indicated on the menu prices had increased by £1. My partner and I ordered our usual selections, and when starter came it was rather abysmal and nothing like previous. Main courses were bland and small portions and rice looked like a reheated biryani rice. To sum up prices have increased and standard have dropped unlikely to go back.

Four of us meet up as many times during the course of the year as we can for a catch up and lunch. Unfortunately a local Pub we used to go to closed down at the end of September so we were left with not knowing when to go for our lunch! Prior to going over to Largs I checked out a few places on TripAdvisor looking for favourable reviews. I am delighted to say that we decided to go to The Three Reasons Pub for our lunch yesterday. What a find this was. We were stunned to see just how busy the place was. We had a short wait before getting a table. Their menu has many very tasty looking dishes on it and it was hard to decide just what to have to eat! 3 of us opted for Prawn Cocktail as a starter and 1 decided on the Chicken Pakora. What a decent portion of Prawn Cocktail no shortage of prawns and the Chicken Pakora was equally as good . We all enjoyed. What was very appealing was the fact that for main course you could have a small portion or a normal portion this to me is a winner. 2 of us had the lovely Lasagne with another having Macaroni Cheese and lastly Fish and Chips. The food was all very well priced and we thought great value for money. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and this was all washed down with a couple of bottles of wine which we shared between the 4 of us. Full marks in every way for The Three Seasons, the atmosphere was just so nice with lovely background music, the food and service were absolutely spot on. We could not fault a thing. I am very pleased to say that the toilets were absolutely spotless. What a find this was and we are already planning our next outing for lunch!! We all would highly recommend this place for a meal when you are visiting Largs as we were, you MOST CERTAINLY WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Keep up the good work and we will look forward to seeing you next month.

This cafe is a gem. Price was great full breakfast with a tea and a orange juice for under £10 was delicious. Great atmosphere with great staff thanks again 👍

Excellent food and such a friendly service. The menu has a great range of options for vegetarians. We were made to feel very welcome and shall certainly be returning.

Had a delicious meal here starters and mains, the young lad that served us was fantastic as were most of the cheerful and friendly staff and the food portions were generous. We were looking forward to returning, However it was 'suggested' Infront of the entire pub as we were leaving by the larger lady with dark hair that we hadn't paid the bill. We had been laughing with staff and were nothing but polite so can only assume she thought we were stealing due to a race issue as none of the old white people that dined there were treated in the same way. Now regret leaving a generous tip.

Located right outside of Tower of London, Cento is a perfect spot for brunch. Although my friends and I went in 20 minutes before they closed their breakfast menu, the staff were still so welcoming. As soon as I sat down, the staffs asked if I wanted tea or coffee. I got their English Breakfast tea, and it was brew just how I liked it - rich and dark. There was also such a wide variety of food. From your typical English breakfast to bread and cold meat, you will definitely leave Cento with your stomach full and your heart warm.

First class breakfast, as always. Highly recommended. Particular mention to Will. A fabulous host 👌

Went for a birthday lunch with 8 people. Everyone really enjoyed their pizzas and pastas, and service was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new local Italian restaurant.

Lovely pub, friendly staff but the fish and chips was rather disappointing. The chips in particular were very poor.

Food was lovely, had steak and was cooked well and the garlic butter was lovely, service maybe a little slow but it was fairly busy.

Booked a table for 2 for my birthday lunch. I chose the venue above another high quality well known restaurant in Eastbourne because of the facilities all being on a single level as my wife has recently had a knee replacement. The service is amazing with well trained attentive staff at front of house. The menu is in my opinion extensive enough to satisfy most palates. The food was very high quality, flavoursome and thoroughly enjoyable. We had the full three courses, each a great experience. Wine choices are good, we settled on a very palatable Chenin Blanc. 10/10. An overall brilliant experience.
