Lovely hidden 5*pub&bbq restaurant. Dog Friendly 🐾 which sold it for me, my little shitzu loved the staf. So friendly and the food was amazing, truly a hidden gem. Bring your pets, kids, family. Book your table in advance or party bookings. Promise you, you will not regret this place. Thank you to the chef, staff & Management especially 👍👍👍👍👍👍

The service was impeccable, the presentation insta worthy , the food was bursting with flavours out of this world , if there was ever a perfect food place to tick all the boxes I just found it , this is a bliming gem I wish I discovered it sooner , will definitely be coming back , just a shame I can't afford it everyday absolutely outstanding what's a Michelin chef when you have 3 chefs . ♥️

Food is phenomenal - well seasoned, high quality and great value for money. Came down from London to visit a friend and would highly recommend. Nice family run business as well so good to support local business.

Really nice pub with reasonably priced beers, nice cocktails, lovely outdoor area out back, they don't serve food but do allow you to bring food in, dog friendly too which is great

Called in for a an impromptu Sunday lunch, it didn't disappoint, lots of fresh veg, lovely & hot & yummy gravy. Staff were very friendly & helpful too, would highly recommend a visit

Great produce and friendly staff

We spent the night on the way from Suffolk to Cairnryan. Looked good on Booking.com. Found staff very friendly and helpful and dinner and breakfast were good but room was small and dark and M6 provided constant background noise. Also fairlybm chilly as heating wasn’t on and hot towel rail in bathroom was cold.

Excellent lunch for 9 of us, after a country walk. Each one of us was happy with our chosen meal. Good service too. We normally try and find a different walk each month, but this pub was so good we might repeat this one soon.

The Curry Lounge in Ashington is hands down our favourite restaurant in the area. Whether we’re dining in or ordering takeaway they always remember our names and greet us like old friends, and that personal touch makes all the difference. The food itself is absolutely outstanding. We’ve tried countless Indian restaurants over the years including many of the top spots in London, and the Curry Lounge genuinely holds its own against the very best. From fragrant biryanis to rich, spicy curries and perfectly baked naan, everything is done with care and quality ingredients. The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere always feels welcoming. Highly recommended, a true local gem that delivers five-star Indian cuisine every time.
