The Banshee’s Labyrinth is truly a fantastic spot for a night out in Edinburgh! From the moment you step inside, you’re in for a unique experience. Despite the unassuming entrance, the place is massive inside, sprawling across several rooms with multiple bars, each offering its own vibe and atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to sit back and enjoy a well-crafted cocktail or dive into the lively energy of the main bar areas, there’s something here for everyone. The drinks menu is fantastic, offering a wide selection to satisfy any taste. From classic cocktails to craft beers and unique spirits, the bartenders know how to pour a great drink. The staff is friendly and quick, keeping the energy high and ensuring that everyone has a good time. One of the things that makes the Banshee’s Labyrinth so memorable is its labyrinthine layout – as you explore, you find yourself in different rooms and hidden spaces that make it feel like an adventure. The unique decor, with a hint of gothic charm, adds to the experience, making you feel like you’re in a truly one-of-a-kind venue. In a city filled with vibrant nightlife, the Banshee’s Labyrinth stands out as one of the best places to be. Went today for a fish wrap. It was large, and it tasted ok. However, the cooking oil used for the fish and chips smelt old, and as if it hadn't been changed in a while. This put a bit of a dampener on my meal. It wasn't inedible by any manner, but it was an off-putting smell.

The quality is somewhat good but the quantity portion for the main meal is not good enough at all based on prices for food items, we ordered Sizzler(full of paneer, not enough vegetables or salad or rice), pav bhaji (very small portion), uttapam (size of roti and not fluffy as it should be) and Soya chap masala(half of quantity compared to shown in their special food menu).

First time visiting Scotland. I'm from Cascais, Portugal however we live in north London. Visiting Scotland for the week. Tired of the same old British pub food this find was heaven! Just off Fort William, exquisite views to lake and mountains. Fantastic seafood, crab, mussels, fish pie with attentive, fast service. Very helpful and good value when compared to other restaurants in the region. Wine list well above average with good pairing for seafood and good standard. Something to repeat next time for sure! Enjoy!

After reading all the reviews we thought we would try it out. The food was ok. But almost felt processed and not fresh. The service was friendly enough but they didn't seem enthusiastic when we arrived, drinks were good. Maybe we caught them on an off day. We will try again soon.

Very disappointed. We rarely go out and this was a special treat for our 46th wedding anniversary. The gentleman who finally greeted us made no apology for the wait and.. despite my being disabled, he went off at speed while we trailed behind him. Nobody pulled out my chair or made us feel welcome. In fairness it was very busy but that's no excuse. We've dined out enough in the past to know good service. I was never offered a second drink nor did anyone enquire whether we were happy with the meal. I don't remember ever feeling so ill served at this restaurant. The food was good but we had a simple lunch. We left feeling decidedly disappointed.

Fabulous! Jess provided some excellent info to help make a decision on which cocktails to go for based on our usual tastes… she was spot on! Great drinks, great atmosphere! The concierge was great too, convinced us to book online and hang around for 40 mins. She was chatty and very friendly!
