Our first time dining here, this evening. Well what can I say, the food was very tasty, the atmosphere very relaxing with a nice ambience and the staff were very friendly, Sorena especially as she looked after us so well. I would definitely visit again and recommend to our friends and family. Thankyou to all the staff at The nook. 😃👍

I had previously booked a table for a group of 25 people for a leaving party. Arrived there 15mins ahead of booked time to find the building in darkness and a sign saying it was closed due to unforseen circumstances. I had no call, despite taking all contact detail at the time of booking. Sign left in the door by environmental health stated a NUMBER of things about RATS, in and around the food prep areas, food, drinks and their (rat) droppings. Diabolical customer services. Never mind cleanliness. Absolutely disgusting & then to find out the reasons are RATS! In their kitchen, cellar, bar, on their food and cooking utensils etc.

Excellent Food, Service was worthy of a tip. Only one issue that was quickly resolved was that the initial table was right next to the exit to the outdoor seating area. Raised this straight away and was placed at a far better table.

We absolutely love this place, for 2 weeks a year on our holidays, we tend to spend most of our evenings in here enjoying the great atmosphere and friendly staff, pool, table games and drinks.

Absolutely love this place!! Went for a 30th birthday, 23 of us went and the service was amazing, not one hiccup ! Food was delicious, staff are lovely, price of food is very reasonable also have a take away menu... Honestly worth a visit been back a few times since in large parties and service exactly the same 💯! Would definitely recommend *****

We attended a Burberry organized dinner at Thyme. The even room as wonderful. Rustic and comfortable feel, and very well restored and maintained building and space. Large space that can easily handle large groups, weddings, events, etc. The room dampens the sound of large groups making it easy to have conversations. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. The food was delicious and presented well. We did not stay at the hotel portion of Thyme, however, I would believe that it is wonderful and magical.

We popped in on 8th of may for a lunch . We decided to opt for the sandwich menu . Prawn Marie rose and beef & horseradish . A bowl of whitebait that was on the special's board 🤤 . What a super platter of FRESH and TASTY food . The service was welcoming , friendly and we shall return very soon . The outdoors seating was nice and with different areas to choose to sit .If there was a garden to enjoy then this would have ticked ALL the boxes . Overall a VERY nice Gastro pub 👌🏻

A great restaurant with amazing food, had takeaway a few times and sat in twice, the quality, quantity, presentation and taste is always outstanding, mouths watering writing this. Can’t wait to go back!

Searched for pubs in the area to eat at whilst away for a night in Clive and we found this absolute gem of a pub. Although it was busy they found us a seat in the window. Cozy, welcoming and the most delicious food. The lady who took our order was so lovely as were the other members of staff who served us. I had steak and ale pie, my husband had steak, both were mouth wateringly good. If we ever visit the area again, we will be sampling more of the menu. Thank you for an enjoyable evening meal

Food was fine and the cakes are tasty but the service really lets the place down- unfriendly and unwelcoming- the owner does not like babies and definitely not prams! She complained about me using my pram and told me not to change my baby on the bathroom as it’s not baby friendly but offered no other space to change them. Made me feel uncomfortable and sadly won’t be going back or recommending others. Maybe you would have a different experience without a child.

I don’t often leave reviews but we have just left This Ancient Boro and I feel I need to tell everyone how amazing our tapa was. We had 8 plates and we both commented on how delicious every single one of them was. I can’t recommend highly enough, the food was excellent and Sarah was amazing was well worth the trip 🥰

Didn't book but they managed to fit us in for an early family supper. Extremely helpful and accommodating as my son just wanted 'meatballs', and they did him a special kids portion 😁. Food was great and the staff were very friendly looking after us so well and making sure we had a great meal. Thanks

We used them for our daughter's birthday party on a sunday ordered the family bucket the whole team was amazing (sana and ajay) very helpful in accommodating they open early for our order and the food was very tasty (spicy wings were a Hit with my family kept asking for more) if we ever go back to Chatham definitely eating in. Thank you to the owner Tahir for taking extra care for our order and the free cheesecake for the birthday girl she was extremely happy.

Lovely Sunday lunch at great prices in our local pub. Reasonable wine prices (and French to boot), great beer and lagers and superb roast dinner (beef, pork or turkey). Not to mention my pâté starter. We didn’t have room for a dessert. Next time! Thanks team.
