Ordered at the counter and sat at the only available table. Table was uncleared from previous occupants dishes and crumbs. Sat like that for 10 minutes until the food appeared. One lady lifted the dishes without saying a single word. It was like a silent admonishment for sitting at an unprepared table. The other lady then sat down the food. The crumbs and bits were left unwiped and the table uncleaned. Used to be our favourite Carrick cafe, not any more. Terrible attitude and poor standard of cleanliness.

1st time in China red tonight so thought I would just order chicken curry egg Fried rice and salt and chilli wings The guy took my order was lovely I’m a drive away but food still hot when I got home absolutely loved it

I’m new to the Neath area and found this place by recommendations. Staff are friendly and accommodating, food is exceptional and the standards are high. Always clean, always personal. Highly recommend.

Came here without a booking with some friends on the 21st October. We were met and informed that there would be wait as lack of staff that night, which was totally fine for us. We sat had some nibbles and some wine. Good selection of wine. The pizza arrived 35mins later which really wasnt that much of a wait especially for how good it tasted, I had the chorizo and prawn, delicious. The staff that were working that day were amazing. Youngish girl who was the supervisor and a young lad who were smiling, happy and attentive,a nd even when they had to deal with some awkward Karen type of customer. They delat with here superbly. Excellent visit, would come again although it is due to shut soon :( Hopefully they could make a take-away Jonny doughs in Rhos.

Lovely thatched roofed country pub. Full of character. Staff were very friendly, and the owner has been there 44yrs. We'll worth a visit - and not expensive. Paid £11.10 for drinks that I would normally pay £13-£15 👍🏻

Called in last minute and staff could not of been friendlier or more helpful. Home made cake was gorgeous. Coffee was great. Defo go again and recommend.

Brilliant little pub. In 10 years time when there are none left you'll regret no supporting your local bars and pubs. Staff are great and beer is fresh and can tell the pipes are cleaned regularly.

Beautiful food. We ordered the loaded fries, partner had chicken I ordered mixed. The portions was huge and super tasty. Was delivered in good time too. Definitely ordering again. Thank you 😊

A warm and inviting experience here. The service was friendly and relaxed. A great amount of choice on the menu. We went for the tapas and it was all delicious. Special shout out for the meatballs! Great value for money too.
