Had very bad experience with them, wouldnt recommend to do business or eat in the shop.

I love visiting the coffee traveller and having my usual latte, the atmosphere is so cosy! The staff are also very helpful/friendly and the service is quick

They are truly the best coffee shop in that area. The taste of the coffee is amazing. The atmosphere is peaceful. Everything is so delicious. Whenever I walk in, I get such a great feeling from this place that I never want to leave.

Since the new ownership the prices are a lot more reasonable and the staff are super friendly and appreciate your custom. It’s incredibly noticeable how busy it has become now too! I live 1 min away from this coffee shop but was always so skeptical to go because the previous owner didn’t know her staff names and would click at them… one time she got my mums order wrong (even though we ordered the same drink and mine was made correctly) and told her to pay the £1.80 extra. Bad vibes. So glad it has new owners now

A hidden gem in Lower Chiswick (within walking distance from Kew Bridge). If you walk riverside, you may notice a sign pointing to the Coffee Traveller. Located on Thames Road, this cute cafe is bigger than it looks. There is a good choice of both savoury and sweet items. There is also a wifi network available on the premises.

Very cozy coffee shop warm and cozy the staff were amazing and sweet, Also, their oat latte with almond croissant was To perfection . Definitely recommend and will be visiting more often

Rank food, cold mush on cold, stale toast. Utterly rank. Left it all behind. Tried a match latte which tasted like warm milk (albeit green) for like £4. If you don’t know how to use Matcha don’t offer it. Suspect the avocado is from an old tub of ready made stuff or at least that’s how it tasted. It had the texture of slime. Don’t know how they have the gall to charge over a tenner for it. Would not go back.

The staff members are welcoming and friendly, adding to the warm ambiance that I've come to adore. Ever since the new owners took charge, I’ve experienced a delightful transformation here. I can’t resist starting my day without indulging in a rich, aromatic espresso paired with my favorite pastries. It’s such a relief to finally have a wonderful place where I can relax and enjoy these little pleasures!

went in to order a sandwich which was advertised as brie, bacon and caramelised onion but received a roll with reheated dry bacon, raw onion and NO brie. when i said i thought it would be a baguette i was told this is what i ordered even though i could see the baguette that i ordered on display. each roll was £7.50 too! complete rip off and poor customer service.

This is a hidden gem both regarding the coffee and the atmosphere! I love surprises and walking through the narrow rooms in the cafe to the backyard included a lot of unexpected things and beautiful styling. Thanks for a wonderful and different experience!

Popped in for a coffee and a bite. We shared an almond croissant and a banana bread. Both propably the best we ever tasted. And the coffee was wonderful. Picked up a loyalty card as we are certain to be back.

Poor quality baked goods and unwelcoming service.

The staff actually waited for us to be seated to tell us they were closing (even though it says on internet they are closing at 5pm and it was 4:30pm). They also didn't allow us to use the toilet. So rude!

Cosy cafe tucked away in leafy Chiswick, 2 mins walk from the Thames. Nice coffee, matcha, teas & smoothies. Tasty food made to order so it’s always fresh & takes a few mins longer to prepare. There’s also a variety of sandwiches & pastries. The owner is always there ensuring a high level of service & quality. Friendly staff & atmosphere. The secret garden at the back makes it a nice spot in the summer after a nice stroll by the river. Definitely worth a try.

I couldn't recommend this coffee place enough! It's nice, cosy and very good food. The team there is so friendly and helpful if you have food allergies. They also have vegan options available.

Exceptional coffee shop and a new place to add to my London favourites. The coffee is definitely one of the best I have had in London and I am very picky with it, the food was also superb. I also really loved the interior - everything about it is just perfect. I must mention the exceptional staff too - everyone was very helpful, friendly and a real pleasure to deal with. Although it was many of us everything went really smoothly and everyone was happy with their food and service. This is a true gem of a place and I will definitely come back.

A very cool and funky local, personal, independent cafe, very close the riverside in a quiet and pretty area. Great coffee and eats, characterful ambience, looks small but is multi-roomed with cosy nooks in and out.

Super friendly people, amazing pastries and sandwiches, and truly divine coffee. One of those brews that make my tastebuds stop and do a double take - maybe the best I've had in London. So happy to have this place in our neighbourhood, and worth the trip if you just want a lovely cup of coffee by the river! You can enjoy their lovely garden or walk across the street and sit right on the strand.

Stumbled upon this little gem whilst visiting Chiswick and walking along the Thames path. Lovely welcoming artisan coffee shop with great vibe. Coffee and ham and cream cheese croissant highly recommend. Will be back next time I’m in the area.

Staff, food and coffee are great.

My partner and I had brunch here and absolutely loved it! I had bacon, maple syrup and pancakes, best I've ever had. The pancakes were perfection. My latte was also one of the best I've had in a very long time. The staff were really friendly and welcoming too. We'll definitely be regulars in the future. Edit: I was a semi regular and as was my partner. Unfortunately he had an issue with a coffee he picked me up, something about a wrong order, but I didn't see and shan't comment. I didn't let this affect my judgement and returned a bit. The coffee is a bit pricier, not sure if it was always this way or I'm more mindful of money now. But today I'm unfortunately not going to be returning. Their menu clearly says £4.50 for porridge and £1.50 for fresh berries but when I paid it was £8.95. Half as much more than I expected. And I was taking away. I queried this afterwards and was told "oh, we've had this a lot lately, we've updated the system but not the menus". I feel very misled and this has unfortunately resulted in lost trust in what I expect to pay. I understand times are tough but they're tough for customers too. Hence my removal of a star. Menu picture taken today included. I just got home to eat the porridge and I'm highly disappointed. This whole situation has left me feeling down and upset. I feel very cheated. The "fresh berries" is paid god knows how much extra for are some pomegranate seeds, three blueberries and a bit of banana. The pot itself is tiny, photo with hand for scale. Really very sad over this. Removal of another star.

A beautiful warm and cosy café hidden behind the Strand. The food is delicious: i have a soft spot for shakshouka, have had many as a native and in London this is my favorite one hands down: the portion, temperature and taste. The owner is very generous and offers as much bread as you need, toasted delicious sourdough bread. I had the intention to take a photo but I digged in immediately :) The staff is very kind, attentive and professional. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing. Highly recommend. We will definitely keep coming.

Fantastic coffee shop, really nice atmosphere

Very chill and cute cafe nestled in a quiet street. Homemade sandwiches, milkshakes, 61% or 75% Madagascar/Peruvian hot chocolates, local beers etc. Small garden at the back. We usually swing by to get a coffee and a bite before walking down the Thames. Very friendly staff, highly recommend!

Such a shame that a local coffee shop has such terrible customer service. Every so often I try it again, and always, experience terribly rude staff , as was just the case this Sunday morning. UPDATE ON RESPONSE- thankyou for proving exactly the point I was making on your customer etiquette. I did not cause a commotion, I was the only customer in the queue and simply asked if you were using the milk id asked for. Paying the extra 50p was not the issue , you were at fault getting my order wrong, but instead turned that on me. With such lovely competition of coffee shops in the area I will happily go elsewhere

Really charming little cafe very close to the Thames on a quiet street. Cakes are always delicious and the coffee is excellent. Besides various areas to sit inside, there is shady, protected, little garden which is perfect on a hot summer day - or even when the sun shines in winter. We always go here when walking along the Thames in this area. Much recommended.

Best coffee this side of the Thames, and an authentic atmosphere inside.

At first popped in for a quick coffee and was welcomed by very friendly staff and a lot of indoor space. Opted to stay for longer because of the great energy and music. They won me over and now have now been a few times and can say they have very delicious pastries and cakes, as well as the breakfast and lunch options. And not to forget the very delicious coffee!

This is a gem of a place. Owner Aziza is a former journalist who fell in love with the premises and location, and set about creating a delightful spot for coffee or lunch. Aziza herself is usually here taking care to give customers a friendly welcome, a delicious pastry or tasty lunch. The garden at the back is an oasis. I’ll definitely be back.

Food and drinks were decent enough but 1x large latte (no extras), 1x can and 2x almond croissants for £16.39 is very expensive even for Chiswick.

Soup of the Day was a moroccan dish with chicken, fava beans, peppers and spring onions, accompanied by cheese toast on the side. This was a delicious, light lunch, perfect for warding off the chilly wind by the Thames at Chiswick. As ever, Tajbir was warm and friendly towards her sometimes irritating customers! I love this idiosyncratic café, slightly off the main drag. It's an oasis of calm in West London. Thank you Tajbir!

We go this cafe almost every weekend for breakfast and coffee in the middle of morning walk. Small and cute cafe. Food/price is average London price.

Great place, really good food and atmosphere

I order a teapot, with additional mug to share the content of a teapot. At the end, I was charged £12 for the teapot + cookie. When asked about the total, I was surprise a cookie would cost £8, I was told they double the tea. I did not ask for double tea, only an additional cup/mug. This is not a nice approach with locals. Not on top of my to go places unfortunately.

A decent little coffee shop very expensive for what it is

Came here mid day on a Thursday. The atmosphere is so incredibly calming. The garden at the back a pocket of sanctuary. The coffee is amazing just ask for Dave. The pain au raisin is expensive at £3.60 but absolutely worth it. Never had one like this before.

The coffee I had recently was lackluster and relatively untasteful. I felt that the baked goods were throughly stale and SO DRY. After looking at recent reviews I am concerned to see the owner is attempting to harass and stalk others that left critical reviews. Any good business should welcome constructive criticism openly

Only popped in for a takeaway roll Nice atmosphere, plenty of choices of quality produce. Bacon butties are nice. bacon is pre cooked and reheated to serve, obviously to cut down the waiting time. Will definitely revisit
