The best restaurants in United Kingdom

We went for breakfast and were surprised by the quality of the products and the way of serving a “local” breakfast with a much healthier way of cooking. English breakfast with beans made with natural tomatoes and the bread we would say was freshly baked. We also ordered a banoffee French toast which, to everyone's surprise, was not excessively sweet or cloying like anywhere else 💕. We will recommend it.

20 th may we booked a table for 4pm. So reported our arrival to the guy in the bar limping guy . Ordered drink for myself and tea for my wife . After look at Menü we ordered starter for us. 4 30 our starter arrived and we reminded to waiter that we reminded the guy that the tea had not arrived By 5pm we decided to order main meal and reminded the waiter my wife still waiting for cup of tea . 5.50pm. We decided to cancel our order as almost w hours later the cup of tea had not arrived so we spent one hour 50 mins in the put keep reminding the waiter for vip of tea that never arrived. So went go bar cancelled our meal and we left. This was a special treat for my wife’s birthday

One of the very best vegan Italian menu ! Food was yummy, creative and healthy. The atmosphere was vibrant and cozy . Would definitely recommend .

Absolutely amazing, best roast dinner we have ever had. If you want a roast don’t bother going anywhere else.

Wow. There are many pubs I have been in over the years and this one and the staff are amazing. From the politeness, to the ability to remember exactly the round, and generally the way you are treated. Great staff and great management team Keep up the excellent work

Food - most dishes were delicious, however the steak dish was not of the best quality, would not have again Starters and mains are generous portions, quite tasty but my personal experience was tough steak, badly cooked vegetables and potatoes. The prawn starter I had was tasty but overwhelmed with a bucket of crisps (see ohoto). Staff seemed quite friendly but for the price probably expected a better level of service. Wasn’t the best overall experience but most of the family enjoyed the food, maybe my expectations were a bit higher for the price and reviews I had seen previously. Would probably try again in a few months time and hope for a better experience

Always come here whenever I come to Liverpool , whether it be with friends of family but I couldn’t give it a better review. The staff are always friendly with a smile on their face. This makes the atmosphere so much better and always makes you feel like part of a family. So much to offer including a range of food , fun drinks and activities on the arcade games. Going to miss the place when it closes, will always be my favourite place to come!! ❤️

We are on holiday and looked up the best roast dinner in Salcombe and this place (though in Kingsbridge) had a review left of exactly that - actually in the whole of South Hams. We reserved a table online and were seated straight away. We were looked after mostly by Amy who was a delight, gave us excellent recommendations and was genuinely passionate about the quality of ingredients as well as every element of our choices. The roast dinners were the best we have had in a long time including the veggie option, none of us could choose our favourite element as they were all delicious. Then it came to the desserts. Amy’s passion again shone through and we all enjoyed the lemon posset and chocolate cremeux as well as various ice creams, we particularly enjoyed the honey and ginger. The atmosphere was lovely, very chilled and the staff all seemed friendly and we would recommend everyone to give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

We stopped into Johnshaven after a day out up the coast at Dunottar and were delighted to find The Anchor. There was a great choice available for seafood lovers, vegetarians and the kids alike. Service was spot on, the food was delicious and the bar/restaurant had a lovely modern, cosy vibe to it. Would heartily recommend 👌
