The best restaurants in Caerleon Newport South Wales

What a find! I used Google to locate a breakfast between Cardiff and Clevedon as we didn't want to go into the city and it did not disappoint. It was busy with cyclists having coffee and pastries, locals buying bread and friends meeting up. The food was superb. We had bacon in freshly baked rolls and all took away pastries or sweet treats. My brioche bread and butter slice was chuffing awesome! It's obviously very well frequented by people who live locally. What an asset!

Absolutely stunning pizzas last night! We had 3 different ones to try and all of them were amazing. Cooked perfectly and so flavourful. If you haven't had the Spoilt Pig yet, go there, today! 😉 Also had The Hulk and a Dirty Pineapple. The guys are really lovely. Give them a ring, place your order and it'll be ready when you get there. You can also just pop by. Highly recommend!

Tasted as good as it looked and it looked wonderful. Very friendly and helpful service. My mother was delighted with it.

I really enjoy getting baguettes and brownies from fresh start after I do the school run. Everything is freshly made , they fill the baguettes right up. I do find it’s a little expensive but that doesn’t stop me from returning. The girls are nice and friendly , there’s quick and efficient service and a lovely show of brownies, cookies and other cakes also

Very nice had a egg and bacon sandwich it was delicious.

Love this place, food is always excellent as was the case this time also. Service is great too, the owner still works the floor. Last night did feel a little rushed but probably our fault for booking a table at 8 when closing time is now 10. 10 out of 10 again. Thank you Curros.

Had a fantastic brunch at the Brunch with Santa yesterday, the food was lovely, the atmosphere was perfect and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. I had never been to The Green before but had been recommended and will certainly be back. From start to finish it was perfect and it was incredibly well managed. My little girl had the most amazing time and Santa was brilliant. Can’t wait to book for next year. Thank you x

New Fosse Wine 🍷 Society had it's last meeting if the year. 11 dined, all were extremely happy with our meals. Cooked to perfection 👌 by a very talented staff. You cannot go wrong with the no1 Takeaway Curry House. Thank you Lee and all your staff.

Really nice setting in the old town, with great decor, good cabinet food and fantastic staff. But please work a little more on the coffee - a little watery!

From the moment you enter through "the door" we felt welcomed. Staff were lovely, friendly and chatty. Atmosphere was great, loved the decor and attention to detail. Food and drinks were divine! Will definitely be back to this hidden gem !

I say regularly at this gorgeous boutique hotel. Thoughtful decor, newly sensitively renovated. Very comfortable rooms, you can choose luxe with roll top bath or dog friendly cottages and others in between. Food very good but a little pricey. Staff wonderful but not enough of them. Unnamed reception is a real shame & makes the vibe less welcoming

Great food so reasonably priced. Service was lovely, quick and good hot. Small menu but you can’t beat what’s served.
