Been using this kebab house every week for well over 6 years. They delivered a pizza with olives on that I didn’t order. They said that they would collect the food but never did, the food ended up being returned by me in person two days later as they said we had eaten it, to this day I still haven’t received a refund! Really poor customer service to their loyal customers!! I still await my refund!!! You know where we live and have chose to ignore giving us our money back!!! Will not recommend to anyone in the future!!

Food was ok, however service was dreadful. The waitresses behaved as if we were an inconvenience and one of them was downright rude and snappy. Definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.

I visited the cafe in The Maltings and I do love the riverside location and the pretty light pendants that they sell. However my experience aside from that wasn’t particularly pleasant. From the time I ordered a drink to the time my friends and I left, we were met with rudeness and pestered to buy more drinks several times. When we politely said we didn’t need any more drinks, the waitress acted quite disgruntled every time. She appeared to have a poor attitude towards people and was quite rude in her demeanour throughout our time there. Given my friends are regular customers I find this quite bizarre, and apparently it happens quite often. Perhaps some people spend £20 or more on coffee every day, but I think most people enjoy it in moderation. Given the choice, and as my free time is limited, I would choose to go somewhere else with better service and neither my friends or I will be returning after this particular experience. Manners are free but rudeness has cost you a group of customers.

Bit sad that the big restaurant at the southern end of Mutley has closed and seems to have split into a smaller takeaway and eat in kebab and burger place with rest of the old restaurant looking to be metamorphosing into a new barber shop. But all is not lost. Soon after Christmas when we were using Colin Campbell car park we spotted the Shawarma logo sign on the back door of the 3rd or 4th shop down on the southern side of Frankfort Gate. Evidently the business continues in some form and at least deliveries are being picked up from down there.

I’m in town for just one evening, looked up places to get a good kebab on Just Eat but I jumped in the car and went there. Guys in the shop were friendly, made up my order just how I wanted it and I brought it back to the hotel to eat it. For what I ordered, the portion was generous, definitely filled me up! It was very very nice, reminds me of the kebab places I go to in the USA, different to what we get in Scotland which was a nice change! Sadly it might be a long time but I would certainly come back again.

Takeaway burgers. Chicken one excellent. Beef one completely over seasoned with salt and could only eat half. Chips could have been great. But half cooked. Edible yes but another 2 mins in fryer they’d have been in a different league. I know it’s a taste thing but no idea why every place is using a sweetened dough bun or brioche now adays. Would be lovely if just once you could get something in proper bread made only with flour water yeast and a pinch of salt.

Visiting Gorse Hill, Swindon and feeling peckish, happened across the Diamond Kebab House on the high street by accident. Looked good, so thought i'd give it a go. Friendly and helpful staff in traditional Turkish Kebab House. Filling Chicken Donner Kebab & Salad - certainly hot the spot and tasted good. One to remember for next time i'm in the area. Free highstreet parking outside.

Very disappointed me and my partner got a chicken wrap, from this restaurant yesterday. We both were a bit unimpressed with the taste and never have had problems before. We carried on eating it as didn’t want to waste and when we got to the bottom the chicken was chewy and cold to our disbelief we unwrapped it and saw raw chicken. I have now been sent home from work the following day and have been sick twice with a fever.

We used to order from here a lot. Food arrived and it was ice cold. This would have been fine, however we rang up on Saturday to speak to the shop and they were very rude. I explained the problem, they said if we brought the food back they would refund, I explained it was put in the bin but we would bring it in if they wanted, but they slammed the phone down

Stopped at Ali’s at 1am, the place was buzzing and they had sold out of doner meat so we opted for chicken shish wraps. WOW! That was the most succulent and most flavoursome grilled chicken I have eaten in a long time. Honiton is over an hour away from my home but I am willing to travel to eat that chicken again.
