The last time I have ordered anything from this place , the donner meat was horrid , the whole kebab smelled like cheesy socks as soon as I opened the bag it went straight in the bin. And I have to air out my house to get rid of this nasty smell . If this is the idea of real Turkish taste avoid it at all costs people . They do not deserve your hard earned money . Useless

Efes Kebab Shop is an average spot for Turkish food. The kebabs are decent but not outstanding, and portions could be better for the price. Service is fine, but the experience overall is nothing special

Food is usually good from here but the last 2 times iv orderd the chips have been over cooked and the meet from the kebab has had hard bits in it

We're not overreacting when we say it's the best doner kebab in town! Portions are enormous, definitely best value for the money! The Staff is very friendly as well, so we've been coming back many times now 🙂

Staffs are ridiculous they don't even know what's customer service is if we ask for anything they will ask a bunch of questions and we need to take approval from them for an extra cutlery food is below average and poor quantity over all experience is like I met an arbab 🤣🤣

Great food, very quickly seved, charcol cooked o kebabas, staff so friendly. Naan bread super thin and fresh, most deliciouds I have ever tasted. Would highly recommend!

I do not recommend this place. The food we ordered was inedible. I’m not sure if the rice was seasoned this way, but it tasted spoiled and left a musty aftertaste. The meat was like plastic, of very poor quality. The salad was mostly just onions and iceberg lettuce. We immediately placed an order at the neighboring restaurant, where both the food and service are excellent.

pizza turned up wrong. Called them; they agreed to send another,said it would take 20 mins.Nearly hr later, I phoned;cancelled & they agreed refund. Driver turned up; I rejected & also gave him the 1st one back. Kept chasing refund but never received

Brilliant food excellent service

Not good this time around, all food was cold as well as soggy chips, it was like it was hanging around for too long and not fresh.. you used to be good all the time but as of late your standards have dropped loads.. not sure if i will order again

Had a large lamb doner kebab it came with pita bread, salad, cucumber, coleslaw and asked for garlic sauce. They put enough lamb in there and filled it to the brim with everything else as mentioned. Had it as a takeaway. Split it as it was a lot for me and it was delicious (I eat small portions but I am sure my brother and dad could it the whole portion by themselves). It was £10 what a bargain. Fast service too. Recommend.

Salad was a bit poor and kebab was cut too thick taste otherwise okay.

Utterly delicious. The chicken dinner was crispy and full of chunky pieces of tender meat, not too fatty. The chicken shish was super flavourful chicken breast, so so tasty. Chips were crispy and the whole order was piping hot.

I tried for first time their Hawaiian chicken burger was very disappointed 😡 as didn't taste good at all it was very bland , tasteless and soggy but rest of the stuff was quite nice

Something had a distinct rotten taste - was it the coleslaw or a homemade chili sauce, or one of the salad components? Had to bin most of the kebab, unfortunately.

Great food, establishment and delivery. But, these see you next Tuesdays have an app with an offer, if you order 6 times then you get a free one. Previously they have honoured this. But, after an order confirmation they have cancelled the order. They are breaking the law. F them.

The kebab was so-so, the wrap was quite cold, which significantly reduced the taste, the garlic sauce didn't even smell of garlic, the kebab only contained iceberg lettuce. Very nice service and nice atmosphere.

The portions are getting smaller and smaller every time I'm ordering! Basically I had like four stripes of Dover and U call that large???

useful to love efes but kebab was cold again was last. Time I ordered thought I'd try again gone downhill so much which is a shame as their food used to be banging.

Have been ordering from here quite a while but recently it has done down hill, not sure what’s happening. I place an order for takeaway, clearly shows in my order that i don’t want coleslaw in my wrap as i didn’t choose it. I received my order and what do i find? coleslaw. I decided to call them and explained what happened, then proceeded to tell them i have an allergy to cabbage (which is found in coleslaw) and i’m happy to give them back this wrap for one without coleslaw. He told me i’d have to pay for new one plus delivery, because it’s my mistake as on the receipt it shows coleslaw. I told him i’m looking at my receipt and it doesn’t show that, he said he’ll send me the receipt by whatsapp to show me my mistake to which i happily agreed and said i’ll show him what it says for me, he then ignored it and said it was my mistake etc. kept speaking to me in a condescending way. I wasn’t going to leave a bad review hence why i called to let them fix the mistake, but because they were rude and far from helpful, i’ve decided to leave this review to make others aware. Good i checked before eating otherwise this could’ve ended badly for me. Sadly was left without food for myself, although i paid.

Always been my favourite place, but unfortunately the last few times seems they must have cut back as portion size has shrunk !!

Usually it’s good in here don’t know what happened this last couple of weeks , asked for pitta with hummus, cheese and salad but got a pitta with cucumber , onion and about 3 inches deep of hummus , no cheese no tomato, sorry guys but this was naff

pizza crust was a bit on the thick side....would've been better if it was thinner and crisppier... toppings good though, garlic bread not good though wouldn't order garlic bread again very poor

Someone I know was like they love this place and to get the chicken Shish so I did. Amazing. The chicken was nice and soft not hard or uncooked like with other takeaways. Definitely ordering again if they keep this keep

The most delicious kebab in town but veeery small. So if u are really hungry then order 2 kebab or choice another shop.

Went for the mixed kebab Lamb and Chicken Donner, with chips the chicken was bland the lamb nice flavour really disappointed with the chicken nearly went up to the counter and said something had everything inside it was on a plate with cutlery it came with chilli sauce and garlic sauce as another reviewer mentioned about the chilli sauce nothing like chilli sauce strange texture looks like they have tried to do a homemade sauce and it's garbage the chips them awful frozen crap out of a big bag tipping them in the fryer yeah definitely overrated looks the part.

Nice, fresh and hot but why does the burger sauce taste like curry; garlic mayo like mint and chilli sauce clumpy? My halloumi wrap would have been lovely if I didn’t hate mint!!

Best kebab in Boscombe, the pitta is always cooked fresh. Try with mint sauce. Also, the pizzas are amazing, there is seating and very good table service - lovely 😍 😋 👌
