The best restaurants serving Tapas food in South West

Popped in on the off chance of a table on a freezing Saturday lunch time.Food was delicious, staff very friendly.They even supplied hubby with a spare pair of reading glasses so he could read the menu-he’d left his at home 😂

One of our favourite places to visit. We always enjoy ourselves here and have done so consistently over the years we've been coming to St.Ives . Location couldn't be more perfect and it's made even better by the wonderful food, drinks and service

Very disappointed with meal, expected so much more .Restaurant was cold ,table i had booked was taken ! We had 3 different meals all were not of the standard we were expecting .My guest even said needed an icecream to take the taste away ! So very disappointed guests with us for the weekend the only bad part was this meal!

Six members of our family went to Cbay for a pre-Christmas dinner as one would be out of the country on Christmas Day. We had a fabulous meal, everything cooked to perfection, tasty and plenty of everything. It was the first day of the Christmas menu and five of us made our choices from the excellent selection provided apart from one who had the lovely fish and chips. The waiter service was excellent too and that contributed to a brilliant family night out at Cbay.

Disappointing Firstly- part of the experience of eating out is choosing what you want on the night, and more importantly, for some of us, an evening off from cooking or even thinking about cooking- I absolutely do not want to be contacted a fortnight before my booking to be asked to pre order and therefore having to contact all the people I was meeting to ask them.what they wanted.to order. The food was mainly average but prawn dish was overcooked and unpleasant Staff were lovely which helped what was otherwise an underwhelming and expensive meal

Terrible restaurant.Just read it is now up for Sale since January 2024.Thank Goodness He ruined what was a fantastic restaurant

Lilico’s used to be one of my favourite dinner spots in Barnstaple. The tapas dishes were amazing and there was always a good atmosphere so when a friend suggested we go here with our partners for dinner we thought we’d give it a go, first time since it has been taken over by someone else and well let’s just say it will also be the last. Food was bland, probably the worst I have ever had. Cocktail menu was boring. Staff were miserable. And it was dead in there. Such a shame that Lilicos has been ran down into the ground.

In a town that is pretty runs down, this place is a little diamond in the rough. The service was fantastic (small request to change a meal which was dealt with really well). Staff great and friendly with our kids. Food was excellent and the portions very generous. Would highly recommend this place to eat.

The roast dinner was outstanding, the service was so friendly & it was a really great atmosphere. Will be going again.

Consistentemente el mejor ambiente, servicio y comida en el centro de Bristol. El personal es increíble y sigo pensando en el pollo al curry de coco tailandés que comí la otra noche... PS. El altavoz Alexa en el inodoro es una experiencia que no te puedes perder, junto con la decoración. Sin duda volveremos pronto! Gracias de nuevo

A beautiful cafe in such a quant location. My Americano with milk was £3.10 which is reasonably priced for cafes in the area. Really friendly staff and great service too.

We really enjoyed the whole experience and great place to eat over looking the bay. Service was excellent and all courses and meals were really good but gets a 4 as it’s a tad pricey especially when adding sides.

La comida era muy agradable, pero desde el principio, la camarera era miserable y grosero. Cuando llegó la factura, fue grosera con mi amigo cuando dijo que no podía leer la máquina de lectura de tarjetas. Lástima porque la comida era preciosa pero arruinó la noche...

Lovely pastries and coffee, the lunch options are always interesting and always delicious. Out the back is a nice light seating area too.
