Excellent menu in a wonderful setting. Close enough to the town centre to walk, far enough away not to be busy or hurried. Traditional Scottish fare, but also a range of Catalan cuisine. Freshly cooked. Very tasty. Excellent value for money. Well worth a visit.

Quirky little restaurant with a family atmosphere. If you’re after fine dining, it’s probably not the place but if you’re looking for authentic Spanish food and hospitality then look no more! Guillermo and his daughter are super friendly and helpful, definitely worth checking out

Visited with a friend as we fancied somewhere a bit different. Nicely decorated with a cosy Spanish feel. Staff were friendly and conversational. When we went it was £8.50 for three dishes, which makes for a very decent meal and the food was all very pleasant - my friend had the mussels which were particularly generous. The only slight let down was the chocolate fondue for two people, which consisted mainly of chopped apple and banana, and could have been more generous with the strawberries/churros at almost £10. But overall very good value and a solid choice for anyone bored of pizza/pasta/burger.

Never been here before and I thought overall it was pretty good. I've been lucky to have eaten a lot of Tapas style food in Spain over the years and having recently eaten at Rioja also in Glasgow I was tempering my enthusiasm (Rioja is very good)So Friday night, not that busy but food was good. I'm not that keen on Paprika and I found that to be used a fair bit, beef quality could have been better. However wine was fantastic, and price I'm not kidding was half that of Rioja3* Average is maybe a bit harsh, I would go back and for £15 a head for food the value cannot be beaten.

Lively atmosphere when entering Restaurant.lighting was very poor we could barely read the menu . Our table was not ready despite many empty tables. The ordering system was not explained so we waited for service for 30 minutes.I approached the bar to be told that's where we order but I couldn't order as I have a egg allergy.A waiter duly arrived so we chose 4 sharing plates and a bottle of merlot. We had a side table by the window, our shoulder view was directly onto the pavement (looking at rubbish, chewing gum and dxx pxxx disgusting .Tip....Do not accept a window table. Our food was served by an amiable waiter! However the garlic prawns were not fresh, dry and chewy (I work in a fishmongers) the remainder of the plates were uninspiring just run of the mill food with??bottled sauces .The MERLOT wine...no comment we tasted it and left it 😔😔 I asked for the key to disabled toilet the waitress opened it with an knife!! But it was clean..I would.definately not return. On leaving we walked out with no good bye or acknowledgement.

We've been to Tinto Westend a few times before and its been outstanding but this time there was a definite change, the food was'nt as good as normal, the chorizo, black pudding and fish stew never had any black pudding in it, the rustic bread was a shop bought pitta bread and the homemade cheesecake was also shop bought, the round cheap strawberry cheesecake you could get from any supermarket, who knows maybe it was a one off bad night for the place, but after reading other reviews who knows.
