The chef’s special was out of this world. Will be back soon!

The DJ plays the same music since my first visit to that place 4 years ago, you even know what song is coming next. Too boring.

I went to Mango last Saturday and had one of the best nights you have had in a long time! Staff and security super friendly and chatty! Plus drinks are cheap!

I was there once and I was drugged ,someone spiked my drink and I woke up in the hospital. Definitely don't recommend this place, security should check every single person for drugs

I and 7 of my friends have visited club for work night out. We have been charged for entry but when we reached bar we have been told we had too much to drink. Therefore they are not able to serve us. I have explained to Manager Darren but immediately he has become aggressive and rude and when asked for explanation he has asked me to leave (happy to share video). I have never come across such a rude customer service provided by manager

If you plan to book an event at Mango, please be advised not to. I have had a truly awful experience in the process of trying to book one of there function rooms. Firstly I went on the website to get more information on the function rooms but unfortunately there is only one picture of both of the rooms and a small list with brief descriptions of what each room is. In my opinion one picture doesn’t help with deciding on anything. I e-mailed them to get a better outlook on things and ask a few questions, which they didn’t respond to. I waited a month and decided to fill in the form to book the room which I had to add my number and e-mail to. I assumed that they would contact me by e-mail or phone to discuss further and take payment. I assumed wrong. After a week of waiting I decided to give them a call. I checked the hours on google, their website and on trip advisor and called them, several times, when I knew they were open. Nobody picked up the phone much to my surprise. At this point I should have just given up, but Mango was legit the only venue suitable for the amount of people/the location. So I decided to go in person and speak to someone, much to my surprise (even tho I went when it was supposed to be open) it was closed. At this point I had decided that it had shut down as I hadn’t had any response but I went out for drinks in the centre and decided to walk up to Mango to double check it wasn’t shut down. It was open, so clearly I was just getting ignored via e-mail and phone. If I wasn’t as drunk as I was I would have went in and spoke to them but they were busy and probably didn’t want to talk to a drunk person about a function. I proceeded to email them again to double check my e-mail hadn’t got lost. And to my absolute surprise I received a reply stating ‘we have no records of your name on our end, when would you like to book for?’ I replied with the information and now a week and a half later, again no response. Whilst looking for other venues I found a website called ‘tag venue’ where you could book the room via their 3rd party website. As I was still struggling to find something I thought id give it one last shot. I sent away the form and it got returned a week later saying ‘sorry the venue declined your request.’ I am very aware that this is psychopathic behaviour trying to contact the place this many times haha, but if they just responded with one email saying ‘sorry we cant do that day’ then all would be fine. They need to update their open/close times as I’m fairly sure they aren’t correct and they need to take better control of manning the email/form system for booking the rooms. I will say I enjoy Mango and have been a very frequent visitor but this whole situation has put me right off going anymore. If you want a function room don’t book Mango.

I recently visited Mango and had a very disappointing experience. The big tall bouncer on duty was completely unprofessional and failed to do his job. Instead of maintaining order and ensuring the safety of the patrons, he spent the entire evening flirting with the girls on the dance floor. This included hitting on all of my friends, which made them feel extremely uncomfortable. We expected a safe and enjoyable night out, but his inappropriate behavior ruined the experience for us. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly.

Great Professor Orlando! It guaranteed a very good atmosphere and the classes were great, adapted to the level. Many thanks to the waiters who were able to serve us in Spanish, it is a wonderful detail! We will repeat for sure

The bachata class with Orlando and the social were great! Also very grateful that some waiters knew how to speak Spanish. I felt at home. We will return for sure!

I like to come dancing here as I’m into the reggaeton and bachata they play. Good cocktails.

I went to the UK to visit for two weeks and explored various bars and restaurants but this one the worst by far. I am a solo traveler and was excited to visit this place after a friend told me the atmosphere was great. I was met by a white woman bouncer who would not allow me in. I was probably the only Latino in the place and was treated much differently than all the white people trying to enter. Very racist behavior that I did not experience on my trip except this place.

£6 a ticket, good music and good atmosphere.

We were in a private room upstairs and it was great with a private bar as well.

Have been here a few times with friends and we normally have a great time, however we where there last Saturday and the female door woman had an arrogant and annoyed attitude and it was only 12am, it felt like we where being interrogated at the door and where going to get into trouble, not the best feeling when out for a good time with friends. reading through previous reviews it seems like she has a reputation for this, don't know how she still has a job.

It is a great place for dancing and socialising. Cocktails are great too.

No food served anymore. Downstairs was very busy but great fun. Dancing classes with Orlando were excellent and fast paced.

Nice authentic Brazilian food restaurant. Had a nice fresh and easy to understand menu. Didn't take long to get our food order out. Fairly priced for being in the city centre. Over-all, was a good experience 👌🏾

Will definitely not be back here. Very rough, plastic tumblers and basic, to say the least, toilets.

Basically if your face or (in our case) CLOTHING doesn't fit, your not getting in! Was here or shud I say ATTEMPTED to go Saturday night only to find one of our friends had been refused because of what he was wearing! He had a hoodie and a backpack but in bouncers words was TOO CASUAL! yet there was few guys wearing joggers inside!!! When we tried to enter to say goodbye to those who had got in, the bouncers literally snapped at my brother-in-law asking him how many? (Usual glasgow question so not bothered) only for him to be basically snapped at when he looked behind him and was bluntly told DONT TURN AROUND! Bare in mind all this happened at 10pm! The bar was dead! So wasn't even as if it was crowed!

My wife had lunch here with her daughter and raved about it so decided to give it a try. Opted for 2-course lunch at £10.95 per person. Starters were masala fish (with a £1.95 supplement) and chicken chaat. Also got complimentary poppadoms and dips. Came in sizzler dishes and were very tasty. Mains were lamb bhuna and chicken maharaja masala with rice and nann. Served with warm plates which is always a plus and food was also warm and very tasty. Portions were good. All washed down with 2 pints of Cobra at £5.50 each and a bottle of nonalcoholic Peroni at £3.95. Service was excellent in a very busy restaurant and the toilets were also modern and spotless. Very enjoyable and well recommended. We’ll definitely be back.

I strongly recommend to stay away from the female bouncer if you want to have a pleasant night. She is very unpleasant, basic and not professional! Happy to share more information about her behaviour with the club owner.

I had a brilliant night in Mango! quickly ruined by the most rude and violent female so called security guard. My friend had her drink in her hand when she left and was politely told by one of the male security guards she couldn’t take the drink off the premise. She then passed it to me who was closer to the door so i could step back in and finish it for her. I was completely taken aback from out of no where this female security guard shoved both my shoulders back with some force? i have never been pushed like the that out of nowhere for no reason at all before? completely ruined my night, unfortunately i won’t be back to Mango, which is a shame as i love the place.

Utterly appalling service, staff are wearing masks pulled down to their chin???? WHATS THE POINT Food was OK, fish starter wasn't cooked through gooey in the middle (came with main course so forgot about it) Meals all came at different times, offered dessert menu ordered dessert then told our time on the table was finished so had to leave still took drinks order x 11 people 10 mins previously so left drinks and dessert. NEVER AGAIN ROTTEN EXPERIENCE. If staff can't keep a mask over their face what's the cleaning like??

Did you know they have dance lessons here? Staff were nay bad, could be more friendlier though. Decorations are okay, so are toilets

Ordered two pizzas pepperoni and cheese both delicious , the fudge cake is amazing!! So warm and choclatey just melts in your mouth 🤤 oh and the cocktails are lovely too 😊

Popped in here for a long over due mate-date and we found A great little restaurant with good food, strong drinks and friendly staff. Quite a few more unusual dishes to try and we Can’t wait to go back when the music is allowed again! The only issue is that (as far as I’m aware) the toilets don’t have disabled access due to steps.

We came last saturday and loved our experience at Mango. We had never been to the restaurant before but we were not disappointed. The service was excellent - very quick upon ordering; my friends and I enjoyed some excellent food,and we had drink some margaritas ...and omg Social distancing was maintained at all times and was carried out to a very high standard. We can't wait to return!

Ordered Beef Fajitas, Chicken Fajitas and Patatas Bravas and a cocktail via Just Eat. Got a message at 7.20pm to say the food had left (what should have been a 15 min journey) didn't arrive until 8.35pm, the restaurant knew there was a delay with the driver but didn't phone to tell us. When it arrived the food was lukewarm and so salty that we had a few bites and left it. Disgusting. Will be avoiding in future.

Since lockdown and beer gardens opened up this place has been a go to for my Dad. His local closed down. I’ve visited with my Dad and the staff have been unreal, they’re probably the best staff I’ve came across in Glasgow and I’ve drank in a lot of places. Serious top marks for this place. Megan, Virginia and Laura are great girls and couldn’t be more helpful.

A group of us came in Saturday night and had a ball! Place is decked out so funky, bar staff were friendly and the music was amazing! Had a bit too much to drink so didn’t venture downstairs to the club but music sounded good coming from there too. Definitely would come back.

Mango is always an amazing place to visit, have been there yesterday with about 10-15 friends, but last night when the DJ who was playing on the main floor treated my friend in a very nasty way in front of everyone, making her feel so ashamed and humiliated. You guys should make sure you have a staff that can treat your costumers with manners. Very sad and extremely disappointed.

Customer service form Laura behind the bar is excellent. Going there regularly for dance classes and she is always the most pleasant,friendly face and chat every time. A little asset indeed

A group of friends and I went travelling from Edinburgh to Glasgow to celebrate a hen party and the doorman surprisingly refused our entire group entry without any reasons. Certainly won’t be back and would advise others to think twice.

Si el personal hubiera reconocido sus deficiencias y simplemente se hubiera disculpado, no estaría escribiendo esta crítica, pero siento que la actitud poco profesional y francamente grosera que recibí del personal es inaceptable. La sala se anunciaba como provista de un 'sistema de sonido', sin embargo, el altavoz que proporcionaron era, en sus palabras, 'propenso a soplar' y nos instruyeron sobre cómo encenderlo y aumentar el volumen lentamente para evitarlo. Como era de esperar, una hora después de mi evento, el orador sonó y nos quedamos sin música durante aproximadamente una hora. El gerente de turno afirmó que no debería haber esperado tener un orador (a pesar de que esto estaba incluido en el anuncio del alquiler de la habitación) y a regañadientes proporcionó otro orador, que dejó de funcionar, y finalmente un tercer orador. El personal es impactante, más lento que una semana en la cárcel, atendiendo a quienes quieren primero en lugar de a los clientes que han estado esperando, sirviendo bebidas equivocadas y repartiéndolas según lo ordenado. Basura, no volveremos, específicamente la mujer miembro del personal que estaba sirviendo el domingo 30 de julio.

Estuve con compañeros de trabajo y tomamos varias rondas. En un punto de la noche perdí mi teléfono y pregunté a una empleada.No quisieron ayudarme porque creo que me confundieron con otra persona y me acusaron de cosas muy feas y me hicieron sentir como una prostituta. Reconozco que iba bebida, pero no es normal irse a casa llorando por el trato recibido. Mi inglés no es bueno y no entiendo todas las palabras pero las caras y los gestos fueron muy claros. Entiendo que en un bar de copas se viven situaciones muy complicadas,pero se confundieron totalmente conmigo. Una pena no volver porque realmente me gusta ese pub.

Came in for some cocktails with a group of friends as Sunday to Wednesday they have them on a discount. Bartenders seemed professional enough, the cocktails looked amazing, tasted great as well. Haven't tried the food though.

Came for dinner with some friends and stayed until 3am! Food was incredible and the cocktails delicious so after few of them we decided to stay until the end of the party. Staff was lovely and quick serving drinks

Went in on spur of moment. we were the only people in the place but made to felt welcome. Food pretty good- not fantastic but still good and plenty of it. Had a couple of cocktails too which were presented really well. Probably has a great buzz about it at night but during the day there was absolutely no atmosphere.

Good speciality drink and nice themed! When we visited it was surrounded by he remains of the art gallery so was hard to enter. The place was very crowded for a Saturday night and clearly the quota of people allowed in at any time was too high so it made it very stuffy and hard to be served at the bar.

Was looking forward to a pre-theatre dinner here given the good TA reviews. However when we went in (around 6.15pm Mon 28 May) the lassie behind the bar ignored us despite us being right in front of her. Giving the benefit of the doubt I gave the other staff member (not doing anything) a big smile and got a glare before she disappeared through a door. After that treatment quite frankly we didn’t rate our chances at getting good service so we went across the road and had excellent food and service at TukTuk.

My friends and I were in this place to celebrate a birthday. We were mistreated by the bouncer who suddenlty kept telling us to go out. According to him, a girl in my group was drunk, but in reality she was just tired.

Went with friends after work to get some food and cocktails. The waitress could not explain what some of the taps dishes were and the food served was so so, nachos were Doritos with no cheese and covered in sweet chilli sauce?! Not great quality and all seemed a bit stale. Cocktails were great. Service wasn’t brilliant, had to chase for bill, chase to pay. Toilets are horrible. Was getting really busy later on and people hovering over our table. Disappointed as the atmosphere wasn’t as I have heard it to be.

Visited recently and it was great prices, excellent service and the cocktails where top class! Tapas food hit the spot after a few drinks 😀

Este lugar tenía un gran ambiente, pero por desgracia la comida lo bajó. Muy grasiento y sin sabor. Que no se podía comer. La camarera me deje saber que no sepan bien y ella se lo llevó lejos, pero aun así pagan el precio completo. Pagamos, pero realmente nunca volvería para comida. Le recomiendo que vaya a otro lugar para su comida. Una lástima.

The food is unreal and 6 tapas for £12 before 6pm is a right deal. The cocktails and beers are excellent and well worth the money. The staff are very good and make great drinks. The place is brilliant would highly recommend.

Visited before a Concert at the ABC. interesting decor and slightly off hand service which the cheap drinks and half price cocktails more than made up for. Cheap drink offers only apply for the first half of the week.

Las tapas son aves muy buena relación calidad-precio antes de las 6 de la tarde, así que tuvimos 6 tapas mixtas entre 4 y todo era excelente y bastante diferente, platos principales de estofado con alubias, bacalao, carne y pollo a la barbacoa, de nuevo, muy variado y delicioso, el vino a un precio muy razonable. Con una salsa de churros debe terminar! El personal es encantador.

Me encantó este bar! Llegó por primera vez con amigos y nos quedamos a partir de las 9 p.m. por la noche, empezó en el bar y nos mudamos en el club más tarde. Me encantaron los cócteles. El personal era genial! Una noche tan buena, sin duda volveremos.

Restaurante/pub con buena comida. Fui con mi pareja y pedimos unos entrantes (tacos y ensalada) y dos platos principales (parrillada y fajitas). La comida estaba deliciosa aunque la ensalada era todo lechuga (no merece la pena pedirla).

Vino en spec antes del teatro para una comida. Entrantes eran buenas, especialmente el poco de bravtas (fragmentos) de patata con salsa de tomate picante que era demasiado gruesa, pero sabroso. Carne con ensalada y patatas fritas también estaban bien. Pero tengo que decir que el servicio no era bueno, no vienen a ver si era necesaria otra bebida, teníamos que coger su atención otra dos veces después de la primera copa. 3 camareras se levantó y conversamos como intentamos conseguir otra bebida. El restaurante tiene un gran ambiente dentro pero necesitan sus servicios.

Me and a group of friends went here to enjoy a nice night, bouncer refused our entire group entry after asking how much one of my friends had had to drink. None of us had had a lot to drink and we were not causing any disturbance or problems, I will not be returning here again unless the staff improve their customer service.

Went here yesterday with my friend after viewing it on Instagram, I must say staff were all lovely and friendly, the main girl serving us was an absolute delight. Sounds a bit corny, but they come across like they actually appreciate your business so I like that. We didn't order any food as we had already eaten but loved our cocktails. Weren't over powering but I was quite happy I could actually taste some rum in them and it wasn't completely drowned with juice. It has quite a relaxed atmosphere In the afternoon. . I'd love to see this place in an evening. I'll definitely come back.

I went into Mango for a friends leaving night. She had been before and loved it, however when we went it was quite quiet. The music wasn't what I'm into so I would prefer somewhere like Driftwood but that's just me. Decor/atmosphere was good. My friend said that the time she was in before there were loads of people salsa dancing etc and she loved it so I suppose it just depends on what you like.

I had purchased a groupon deal for 2 courses and a cocktail each, unfortunatley my husband was ill so I ended up taking my mum with me, who is not into cocktails - the staff let me order the two and waited till I was finished to make the second one great service. The food was great and the atmosphere was great. Will definately be back for more cocktails and food and music

I attend mango regularly on a Wednesday night for their mango jam, which is always an amazing night but haven't eaten there until yesterday.The food is amazing!! My friend and I both decided on getting burrito and soft drink for a fiver deal. It was lovely, you have the choice of chicken, beef or veg. Absolutely no complaints at all, except maybe that I wish my tummy was bigger so I could have eaten more!We also had the mango cheesecake and churros, yummy!! I had brought my dog in too, they were very accommodating. I didn't even have to ask for a bowl of water, Bridgette brought us one minutes after I arrived. We had some cocktails too, which I usually have on a Wednesday also. Expertly mixed by Bridgette as usual, she really is fab! :)

I would say that the manager of this place has absolutely no customer service training. I cannot believe that I had an argument with him over a Strawberry Daiquiri. I would say that this was the worst experience I have ever had.Then when the bill came he charged me double for my drink.Totally shocking!! I would never return to this bar!!When it comes to petty things like a complaint about a drink!! You sort it and don't argue with customers!! Shocking attitude!!

Visited this place on a Sunday afternoon with an itison voucher, cocktails are amazing along with the authentic Latin style food. Staff are super friendly and can't do enough for you. Prices are also very reasonable especially Sunday to Wednesday. We will be returning very soon.
