The best restaurants serving Spanish food in England

Update - Sadly now closed. What a vegan feast! Delicious food and great owner. Will definitely be back. Not currently listed on TripAdvisor, so have asked them to add it

Food was excellent. Pork belly is really really nice. Prawns were good. My daughter liked the meatballs very much along with the chips.The Colombian styled walls are full of joy and they make me happy seeing all the colours.

Lovely small bar in the centre of Hebden Bridge. The woman serving was very pleasant and the pizzas (served by 'The People's Pizzeria') are very very good. (Note - you order drinks at the bar and food from the pizza window) The outside covered seating area is really nice, and some of the tables have heaters above. Nice clean toilet inside.

We had a lovely experience. Jose was very welcoming. Unfortunately it was very quiet and rarely open but he will do anything for you and the food was very tasty.

Hay música en vivo los viernes por la noche 7 - 9 pm (desenchufado) y muchas cosas pasando allí toda la semana.

High-quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation. My only complaint is that the portions felt a bit small for the price. Still, very good overall.

We come to Eastbourne about once a year but usually visit this restaurant. Not the cheapest but lovely as a treat.

During a long-anticipated trip to London and while on a half-drunken shopping spree through Soho, we found this gorgeous little place and inquired on availability. Despite what was probably already a packed evening they found a way to squeeze us onto the patio and booked for a few hours later. We had, to my recollection, the patatas bravas, the lentils & chorizo, the large galician txuleta, the daily special stuffed calamari, and a couple of large orders of the jamon iberico, washed down with a couple of mojitos and a not-too-sweet lemonade. Each dish came very quickly after we ordered, and tasted just fabulous. We ended the meal with: an almond tart with some vanilla ice cream and I believe some lemon zest, a crema catalana, and a cheesecake - all worth sticking around for. Service was kind, patient, funny, and best of all, attentive. We could not have asked for a better way to close the day than to enjoy the excellent weather while people watching and enjoying some amazing tapas. We plan to return on our next trip to London!

Absolutamente destripado sobre este lugar. He estado hablando de este lugar con mis amigos durante tanto tiempo y finalmente llegamos esta noche. Qué servicio tan horrible. Personal grosero que piensa que son demasiado cool. Vinimos especialmente temprano para conseguir un asiento y queríamos quedarnos hasta cerca. Normalmente tenemos agua rellena y el personal preguntando si queremos ordenar - pero fue un dolor conseguir que el personal nos ayude a ordenar. Esperábamos literalmente 50 minutos para ser servidos e incluso entonces tuvimos que saludarlos. Cuando llegaban las 11 de la mañana, dijeron que “intentarían conseguir un asiento, pero las cajas están abajo”. Esperábamos un rato, y literalmente sentaron a todos los demás adentro, incluso a los que vinieron después de nosotros, aparte de nosotros. Rellenaron todos los asientos y nunca volvieron a salir para decirnos si había asiento. Qué experiencia tan miserable - todos mis amigos la odiaban y seguían diciendo lo pretenciosa que es. La próxima vez, por favor, no prefieras a tus amigos - vimos esa mesa con tus amigos a los que les diste bebidas gratis y seguiste sirviendo y no a nosotros. (¡Habríamos pedido más si hubiera algún servicio!) Hubo un caballero mayor que explicó los problemas de labranza - pero aparte de eso - un servicio horrible - así que la clase media, indulgente - evitar! Qué pena.

What a fantastic gem of a restaurant. Mix of Spanish and Italian cuisine in a tapas format. Love pulpo and they did a great job with it!

Please don’t waste your time and money going to this place. The food was very poor, Luke warm and much of it seemed to be microwaved. The service was awful. A waiter who had his earphones in all night, you had to go to him if you needed something and he moved slower than the earth’s tectonic plates. This restaurant doesn’t deserve to survive and probably won’t.
